21  Economy / Gambling / Re: I tried my luck again in yobit dice game..But ended to lose on: June 16, 2016, 03:32:55 PM
I also would like to advise you stop playing dice game on yobit because it is shady and not worth to play there, i never played there because impossible to know about bet result it was fair or not while we have so many provably fair dice sites which providing wonderful services so must move to that dice games.

Totally agree yobit is seriously shady, lots of people are having issues. There are much better options out there.
22  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Affiliate earnings/programs - Is it really worth it or not ? on: June 16, 2016, 03:08:01 PM
Im interested in joinning some affiliate programs on some dice sites, but i really dont know if its worth it or not. Has anyone made any profits from having/using affiliate programs and in what period of time ? Whats the best affiliate/and high paying program to join

I think you are better off joining a signature campaign. Affiliate programs don't usually pay too well unless you are really good at marketing.
23  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: June 16, 2016, 01:52:35 PM
I only gamble for fun. I'm not a huge gambler, I typically only wager small amounts. For me the profit is just icing on the cake Cheesy
24  Economy / Gambling / Re: GeoDice | The first out this world gambling site on: June 16, 2016, 01:37:51 PM
Another moneypot site... do people not make their own websites any more? I don't particularly trust moneypot. Good luck with the site anyway.
25  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk.org Contact on: June 16, 2016, 01:13:52 PM
Okay, thanks all. I'll send a PM to one of the mods and see where that gets me.

And I realize this is a forum and not a business but I was instructed by local authorities to ask owners/admin a question in regards to an identity theft police report I filed that occurred on this site. Therefore it's a personal matter and didn't want to post all details.

In that case you should contact theymos the head admin, his email is theymos at mm.st. It is best if you instruct law enforcement to contact him directly.

Here is advice he gave people who were scammed by master-p

I don't like to give out that sort of info to the general public. People who were affected should get in contact with police in your own jurisdiction, and then once you're talking to an investigator and you've explained all of the background, tell them to email [theymos at mm dot st] from an official police email address, and I'll give them master-p's IP addresses. No warrant or subpoena is required when the target is a probable scammer, and the police can be anywhere in the world. Please don't put my email address in your initial report, though, or else they'll get confused and email me about the case in general, which I don't know much about and don't have time to deal with -- all I'm going to do is provide raw data.
26  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto_Life on: June 15, 2016, 04:50:42 PM
As stated in the OP, it is for the purpose of getting more money back in the hands of the clients and it would be just stupid to avoid a site based on the TK extension.  That is based on the exact thing you just stated, a domain is so cheap that having a TLD of a more standard type proves nothing.  Just like SSL proves nothing anymore.  It is just a $20 addon that anyone can buy and says nothing about the integrity of the site.

SSL prevents hackers from snooping your users passwords and changing Bitcoin addresses while in transit, it has nothing to do with trust.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No gambling section? :P on: June 15, 2016, 04:35:28 PM
I'm not sure if I haven't done enough browsing here, but there really should be a gambling section, with part discussions, and part actual gambling Tongue
Would be be fun to have some lotteries, ruffles, and similar games on this forum Smiley Not sure how it would work, but I'm sure somebody could make something good.

Uh there is a gambling section right here
28  Other / Off-topic / Re: Need help recovering a .file on: June 14, 2016, 11:25:13 PM
i usually use this bit it dosnt like the .file extension, running a deep scan with it now see if it throws anything up

Recuva shouldn't care what the file extension is, I've used it recover all sorts of stuff.

LOL check this out.

June 04, 2016, 06:38:33 PM - Blazr - password reset via email

June 04, 2016, 07:15:35 PM - Very first post made by Blazr is edited and changed to this

Adios amigo's!

June 04, 2016, 07:51:20 PM - Blazr - password changed

Adios Blazr.

Does that edit imply my account being sold?

Lol you didn't explain why you changed your first post to "adios amigo's" 40 minutes after resetting your password via email and then changed your password again 40 minutes later. Why would someone do that? what was going through your head? Why say goodbye? Instead you go on the attack and start to question MY account instead of defending yourself and you didn't do much research because my account WAS active but I wasn't posting and I even messaged YOU a few times in 2015, hahaha. Do you remember what we talked about? I like how you actually took the time to look into my account to try find some dirt.
30  Economy / Gambling / Re: 100BTC bet on me and HaoBTC being dishonest on: June 14, 2016, 07:47:02 PM
LOL that guy is an idiot. "Ok so we are both correct then", no dude you're wrong you thought it was a different DC which was wrong, that makes you wrong and eric@haobtc right. Simple logic.

32  Economy / Gambling / Re: your opinion about newcasinobitcoin.com on: June 14, 2016, 11:21:44 AM
I think the coontrols for the scrolling top part should be reversed. The left arrow should move to the item to the left, and likewise for the right. The way it is now is confusing. Also would be useful if you could navigate it with your mouse.
33  Economy / Gambling / Re: scripting primedice --- getting started on: June 13, 2016, 09:33:58 PM
Code:
#!/bin/bash
#
# log into PD, return access_token
curl -X POST --data "username=$1&password=$2" https://api.primedice.com/api/login 2>/dev/null | sed -e 's/.*access_token":"\(.*\)"}/\1/' > token

cat token

It is best practices not to accept passwords as a cli arg as the password will appear in your .bash_history file in plaintext.

It is better to prompt the user to enter the password like this:

Code:
#!/bin/bash
#
# log into PD, return access_token

read -p "Password:" password

curl -X POST --data "username=$1&password=$password" https://api.primedice.com/api/login 2>/dev/null | sed -e 's/.*access_token":"\(.*\)"}/\1/' > token

cat token

That way it won't appear in the .bash_history file, when you run "history" or if you keep pressing "up" in the terminal window to scroll through command history.
34  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: ChasingCarsEU Gambling Investing Service on: June 13, 2016, 09:21:40 PM
If that's is indeed what ajaxmoor is proposing then I won't be going through with it.

If that's the case then you're completely right and this makes no sense whatsoever because I'd just be giving my investors free cash while not being able to use their funds for my betting purposes.

Cheers and thank you!

Yes I edited the post after I read ajaxmoor's thread to see what exactly he was doing.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=987312.msg11062488#msg11062488

In his case he didn't need more money but wanetd to bet without so much risk so he was passing on any winnings/losses of his bets to the investors minus a fee, so essentially the investors were taking the risk of his bets. In your case though you are seemingly guaranteeing some return (I think) and not passing on losses.
35  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: ChasingCarsEU Gambling Investing Service on: June 13, 2016, 09:15:48 PM
That makes perfect sense honestly. I'll most likely throw funds into an escrow then.

Which one did you use ?

Cheers. Smiley

Actually it makes no sense at all. If you already have the money you need to pay for bets, why take investments at all?

Being able to place larger bets, that's the whole point.

If I didn't have the money to pay for my bets I wouldn't be that great of a tipster, would I ?

Cheers.

Just so I understand, this is what it sounds like ajaxmoor is proposing:

1. People send their investment money to the escrow
2. You place the bets with your own money
3. Investors get their money back plus any earnings and minus any losses

How could you place larger bets if the escrow has the money?

38  Economy / Exchanges / Re: coinbase - gambling on: June 12, 2016, 02:01:32 PM
Yes lots of users have had their coinbase accounts closed for gambling.

It's unlikely you would face legal trouble from this. The most coinbase can do is close your account. They could also potentially report you to authorities, but that is unlikely as they are not obligated to do that and doing so would only cause them problems too.

It's best to use a real wallet that you solely control like electrum or Bitcoin Core instead of coinbase for this reason and others.
39  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing BIT-CHIKUN.COM, worlds first bitcoin game which is also an ecosystem on: June 11, 2016, 10:18:17 PM
There is something wrong with the captcha. I constantly get "Invalid Captcha" even though I'm entering it correctly.

"Copyright © 2016, BITROUELETTE.IN"

Also has lots of broken links. I'd stay away.
