Freeroll open for registration, starts in 2 hours.

5 mBTC prize pool.

Come play poker now at https://betking.io

by the way just noticed that the rake for the sit n go is 1000 satoshi which is 10% of the buy in , is it because in poker that's the minmum unit or will it stay like that even for the bigger games
heads up with such rake is almost unbeatable by the way , so I guess you should remove this table

That's the minimum. I tried to make it 5%.
It's there as a test for now. I'll decide on stakes and rake for the rest of the sng's the next few days.

Freeroll tournament tonight at 8pm UTC with 5 mBTC prize pool

We will be testing freerolls all week before official launch.

You can also try HU SNG's in the lobby too.

We will have the ETH cash game tables and full SnG options for plo and nlhe setup in the next few days.

registered in the HU game but it seems no one is active at this time
also is there any plan to add jackpot games like spin n goes ?? is there any way you can develop such game using your service provider ?

We can't do that with the provider we have. If they add anything like that then we can use it. However I will be asking for that aswell as two other games I want on BetKing. However we need to have a player base before they will consider big changes.

To become a VIP you need to:
a) Be invited to BetKing by me, affiliates or trusted reps
b) Request access to play in the games by emailing support or via social (somewhere we can confirm you are a real person)
c) Have played dice (or other games we launch in the future) by depositing to BetKing. Not faucet.

Do all these conditions need to be met, or just any one of them? ie. is this an "a, b, AND c" list or an "a, b, OR c" list?

When combining conditions to make more complex conditions it is useful to specify the operator being used. Otherwise the complex condition is ambiguous. It seems some people have read the list as a conjunction of the three terms, making wagering at dice a requirement. That's how I initially read it. But that may turn out to be the wrong interpretation.
Sorry I should have said either/or.

You only need to meet one of those requirements.

How can affiliates invite players? I usually do not know who clicks on my affiliate link.

Do I need to post in the BetKing details on my website that players who want to become a poker VIP needs to contact me?

Poker affiliate program is yet to be finalised. Will post it next week.
The only way for people to become VIP's if they have not wagered on dice is to contact me, or I contact them.

No one should be trying to go through someone else at this time
471  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io - Dice, sports, poker coming soon - 50 BTC Jackpot, 20 currencies on: February 15, 2018, 11:21:46 PM
Also it's only for stakes of 1/2 mBTC and above that require vip status
472  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io - Dice, sports, poker coming soon - 50 BTC Jackpot, 20 currencies on: February 15, 2018, 02:10:37 PM
You can test out the poker software for small stakes BTC.

Go to https://betking.io/bet/dice and you will see a play poker button at top if you are logged in.

You can sit at the small stakes cash games for nlhe/plo (games above 1mbtc/2mbtc are locked for our vip program).

Note that this is not an official launch, we still need a bit of content for homepage, banners in poker software, page on rake, vip, faq etc.
You might not find anyone to play with right now due to no one knowing about it  Wink

Everything should be done this week though then we can promote properly.

Feedback welcome (especially any bugs)

...

As pawel7777 pointed out this is not exactly a difficult barrier for someone, who
is looking to create multiple accounts.

I also have another question. Will it be necessary to download a poker client or
is it possible to play in the webbrowser?

Actually it will be difficult barrier for people looking to multi account as they need to have wagered a lot or lost a lot. Not just bet 0.000001 btc.

474  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io - Dice, sports, poker coming soon - 50 BTC Jackpot, 20 currencies on: February 13, 2018, 02:59:41 PM
So poker is almost ready to go live now!
We are just waiting on a new homepage and some poker landing pages that describe how things work then we can promote/open to players.

How is BetKing poker different?
We are going to have a vip exclusive poker site. All mid to high stakes tables will be restricted to vips. (all small stakes tables open to anyone).

Not faucet.

Why?
This stops people being able to create 6 accounts and sitting in the games with bots. It also reduces the chance of collusion by not allowing multi accounting and there's a smaller chance friends are sitting in games sharing cards.
We will eliminate bumhinting and have no option for seat scripting this way (anyone approved access caught doing this will have their VIP status removed).
The games will not be full of multi tabling rakeback grinders (we don't have rakeback as a promo).

Rake will be lower than the competition (nitro etc) it's similar % as stars but with smaller cap.

We want to provide an environment that recreational players and gamblers feel safe playing without the worry of cheating, bots, collusion, huds or bumhunting.

All feedback/questions welcome

We are going to be doing poker a bit different from other sites, in the spirit of what the old PRC site was meant to be.

The most profitable thing for us would be to just copy stars and allow multiple accounts multi-tabling and we just rake as many tables and players as possible.

However we want to make an environment for players to play and have fun and not have to worry about bots, multi accounting, collusion, huds, seat scripting or bum hunting.

So we will be doing something that is quite different from almost anywhere else you will have seen.

We will have more details closer to launch.

As for multi-currency, there will be BTC and ETH tables.

Anyone interested in making sports bets with Bitcoin, Litecoin or Ethereum on https://betking.io ?

eth and ltc allow you to deposit and get bet on faster.

Was thinking that, while we are waiting on the new site, new games and poker being ready to launch we could allow people to bet on sports in the chat room.

We could have it so that you type the event and amount you wish to bet, e.g. UFC Luke Rockhold v Yoel Romero, 0.05 BTC on Luke to win.

I would reply with odds

If you like them you tip my account, the red dean in chat, the amount you wish to bet we lock the bet. (i'll confirm in pm too)

Winnings would be tipped back to your account.

Open to other ideas too Smiley

quoted from the main thread incase it is deleted

Maidenvoyage was looking to withdraw ~109 Bitcoin from Moneypot to buy into the BetKing ICO back in June/July 2017.

Moneypot didn't let him withdraw and forced him to remain invested in Moneypot with the promise that if Moneypot didn't earn enough profit from player losses to pay back Maidenvoyage the full amount he lost (31 btc?) since investing in Moneypot that they would pay this amount from their own pocket.

If they didn't have 31 BTC then it was obvious that a site with no traffic would not generate enough profit to pay that back or that you could pay out of your own pocket with the huge increase in Bitcoin price from July to December.

It's now February and Moneypot didn't make enough profit to pay back Maidenvoyage and they haven't paid out of their own pocket either.

Since July Moneypot tried to do an ICO, presumabley this was the plan to raise the funds to pay back Maidenvoyage by December, but it failed to raise the amount needed and was cancelled.

Then there was the merge with MonsterByte that again, I assumed would pay Maidenvoyage his losses with the funds they raised in their own ICO but that doesn't seem to be the case and it looks like MonsterByte might not even own or want to work with MoneyPot now.

I can't see how Moneypot can ever recoup 140 Bitcoin to pay back Maidenvoyage, certainly not by some debt token for a site with no traffic.

I think that Moneypot should send all Bitcoin they own to an address and sign a message proving they own the funds.
If they don't want to make the address public for whatever reason I, Ryan or dooglus can verify the signature and at least Maidenvoyage can get an idea of the maximum he might be able to recoup based on the reserves Moneypot has.
