461  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trading Cycles on: April 01, 2019, 10:16:31 AM

Does Bitcoin trading follows any cycles?

Came across this article: https://mktcycles.blogspot.com/2019/03/bitcoin-cycles.html

Any thought?

Not following any cycles because if you do tend to follow those 3 and making presumptions on your trades then you will surely have a headache on guessing on what would be probably the next
Bitcoin movement on next days or months.

This is why i dont really rely too much on charts patterns yet all movements are random on crypto specially with Bitcoin.
462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sidebet... A minimum loss... on: April 01, 2019, 10:08:01 AM
This thing is also one of the strategies that has been using by some gamblers, the fact that there are also gambling platform that accepts multiple bets at a time, so playing with this strategy is quite good enough.

With this, you can just lose a small amount of money. And same goes if you win.

So who among you guys have tried this? Share the experience Smiley
I have tried it on poker but i would say this wont really give you the chance on not to loss big money. You are risking more but somehow if it would pass through then thats the advantage.
Its just a matter of on how you do eat some risk  Grin
463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Good Reliable LIVE Horse/Dog Racing Sites | Bitcoin Accepted? on: April 01, 2019, 09:57:05 AM
Check your connection, it works find on my end.
One more thing, please move this topic to gambling discussion board as there is the most appropriate place to discuss such question.

I've tried from few different devices, on wire connection and wi-fi, PC and laptop, 4G via mobile and tablet  Undecided the same, maybe there is an IP restriction to some areas, but I'm in the EU... don't understand...

*donno how to move the topic to the gambling discussion board, ca you please tell me how  Smiley
You can see it on bottom left.

Most likely when you are stuck on loading times either on internet connection or your browser problem.
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can New Animated Series 'Bitcoin and Friends' Make Bitcoin Fun Again? on: March 31, 2019, 02:31:01 PM

It already crossed 7K views , Hope it helps in spreading the awareness.
Its already 9.6k and counting.I dont know if these views came from speculators or into bitcoin users itself. Huh

I've personally didn't liked it and that's probably because I don't like anime series in general. Some else said that it contains some unusual scenes and I think that's bad for an animated series since it should be allowed only for people that are at least 18 years old so kids should be restricted to watch an animated series wivh is kind of a disadvantage in my opinion.
Its never been fun yet this video contain scenes which isnt really appropriate for young minds.

465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Leaving Behind Crypto When You Are Gone? on: March 31, 2019, 01:15:16 PM
I have given hints to my wife for my password for my trezor and i own an extremely small amount. anyone with a serious amount should have a passcode to a set of metal plate in their house that spell out a private key to their funds. If i was smart and had money I would do that, unfortunately from my experience most other crypto enthusiast especially with funds don't trust their wives.
Even myself dont trust up my wife when it comes to big amounts of crypto inside on my cold storage, not to be selfish but im protecting those funds for future use.You wont even know that someday your wife would able to access those funds without your knowledge since she know everything about PK and other related informations of your storages then probability of that kind of situation might happen and it would really give some headache.
466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you choose slots for gambling? on: March 31, 2019, 12:45:16 PM
I'm a slot lover but I never used any strategy to choose which slot to play, but many people says that it is better to play slot with highest RTP percentage. But I myself prefer to play on slot with lower RTP, because the multiplier is higher although the chance to win is lower. Obviously it is all about preferences,
If you ask about my own experiences which slot provider is the best for me then I can say that Pragmatic and QuickSpin are the best, simply because I get more winnings when I play slots by those 2 providers compared to other providers such as Micrograming or Betsoft.
When it comes to winning percentage it wont really be matter much on which provider you are playing into.I tried on betting on Microgaming and im winning more of it than on Pragmatic ones. I agree on the thing about lower RTP which i prefer it too when playing slots.

Choosing slots for gambling doesnt have a significant factors to be considered it would just matter on sticking to famous providers and you are good to go.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not about ''get rich fast'' !! on: March 31, 2019, 12:25:07 PM
~snip~

Get used to it and dont stress or bother yourself out because people do have different kind of mentality.People will easily be dragged of on making profits rather than thinking on the tech behind bitcoin and the benefit that it can give to them when it comes to financial control and accessibility together with anonymity.
But somehow i cant really blame people do think of this way yet making money is somehow easy compared into any other traditional business and money making methods but they are just way too being hyped up.
468  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are you favourite Indicators for trading? on: March 31, 2019, 11:18:24 AM
So I would love to hear from the community and other experienced traders here. What is that indicator that has helped you make a good amount of profits?
MA's
MACD
RSI
BB
S & R lines
Fibonnaci (on some casis)

Im not totally relying on TA's but it is pleasant in the eyes on having these indicators.
469  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinxcryptomining.com is it a scam? on: March 31, 2019, 10:51:41 AM
It certainly is suspicious, I'd advise looking into who owns the domain, tends to be a good way to gauge legitimacy.
If the guy is anonymous then you best avoid it, otherwise I'd suggest looking into their background and online activities, can't be too careful these days.
If that is related to cloud mining, then it's no need to check who owns the domain because as we know, that cloud mining is not profitable and will scam us in a short time. It is better to stay away from every cloud mining because cloud mining will scam in someday, and you are hard to reach ROI. That is enough for you to leave the cloud mining and never make a deal with them.
Why we should mind?

Even known cloud mining sites as of this moment is never been profitable. If you do look at their contracts which do have short duration with rising difficulty then your investment would most likely wont be profitable in the end of the contract so we can really say that this is just a useless thing.
Better mine on your own if you do have the miner and cheap electricity. It would be more ideal.
470  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I was looking at VELIC BTC auction 1round. on: March 30, 2019, 11:05:08 AM
are you talking about velic.io auction? you are part of the team too? because nearly all of your post (2!) are about velic.

so how's the result then? how many btc sold? who got it?

Based on the official site of velic.io, the auction started at March 30, 2019, 04:00:00 AM(UTC) which is some hours ago (1st round) out of 3 scheduled rounds. Now should be the time for the 3rd round and it will end in around 40 minutes, but I cant find any progress of this event. How much is being sold during the each round, but the total supply for the auction is 50btc.
Maybe someone need to have velic account in order to see the complete details of the on going auction.
Before you can participate you would need to pass this one.

Too much hassle, i'll pass.
471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Bitcoin Movie ‘Crypto’ Shows Hollywood’s Total Misguidedness on: March 30, 2019, 10:59:10 AM
And what about all those movies where people steal money from banks and run away with bags of cash leaving behind clueless cops? How many times does something like that happen in the real life?

It's nice they made a movie about crypto because it will for sure raise public awareness. People who never knew a thing about crypto will research it and maybe even use it.
Curiosity would really be there when viewers do able to see some new things that they havent encountered yet into their entire life.It will depend on the movie on how they do interpret bitcoin
but to be expected when we do talk about hollywood movies then for sure there would be some revised things.
472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA betting thread - Selective games on points over and under on: March 29, 2019, 11:11:30 PM
This is why this place called a forum where you can post up on things you do like. Even we have seen various NBA betting thread but still people can create on their own, its up to people or the community on which one they would follow.
473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Laser-etching a Cold Storage Coin on: March 29, 2019, 11:06:20 PM
Well, that's a first to me. How much do you think it would cost for making a cold storage like that? Do you think that someone actually did put his coins in a cold storage like that?
I would rather prefer still on using Ledger than on this coin cold wallet storage. You can only store up 1-2 PK front and back. The price might not really be too far from each other. So on practicality $60 Hardware wallet
would already be enough.

Seeing those laser etching or printing is very fancy in the eyes.
474  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Best lighting network wallet on: March 29, 2019, 10:49:43 PM
The best bitcoin lightning network wallet I believe depends on quick user friendly interface and features but must not take away from the user the essential dynamics that separate the wallet from others that don't support lighting transactions.
I havent tested out Blue wallet thats why i cant make any conclusion but reading up above on some comments about Blue then it turns out that Eclair
is a better option which ive been using for sometime and as being said i dont have any complaints yet this already provide on what you need.
We are indeed need of comparison among the two which would really be helpful.
475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The 100k sports betting experiment on: March 29, 2019, 10:44:59 PM
So it is like a secret picks that will be revealed once you finish the challenge? I have no ideas what is the purpose of sharing a sport betting challenge secretly. But of course it is your own right, hope it goes as expected.
Anyway what is the purpose of putting your contact? Are you selling the picks privately? Or maybe members here can invest on your challenge?

Quote
Each time I post the summary of the (previous) day, you will see a code in the end of post that looks like gibberish. That code contains the picks, which I will not reveal. Maybe I will show to a mod after the 6 months.
So whats the point on posting this thread?
476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make profit from a dice game? Have any unique strategy? on: March 29, 2019, 10:42:31 PM
Hello everybody!! I am in crypto from 2016. But I have not much experience  about gamble. You can called me as a bigginer in gamble. Mainly I want to know about dice game first. I have visited and registered some gamble site and trying to play dice game with bonus amount. But I did not succeed yet.
So I want to know how you guys can make profit from dice game? Have any unique strategy for dice game?
If i do have that kind of unique strategy or profitable strategy of mine.I wont consider or plan to share it with you  Grin
Ill rather spoil it on my own until the gambling house bust me up.Just remember that Dice game is very addictive, since you are
just starting with gambling then better be aware with possible gambling addiction.Just play for entertainment and dont
chase up for profits.
477  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Thoughts on the QuadrigaCX CEO suspicious death??? on: March 29, 2019, 10:25:39 PM
I think I've read that he has been diagnosed with some kind of disease. So him dying is not that unbelievable unless it was planned very long time before.

I also don't think that anyone could be this unprofessional, to be honest. Even If he was, the team and the board members agreeing to this make no sense.

I don't see how they are going to pull this off though, with the blockchain and the transparency coming with it, 190m vanishing without anyone knowing anything about it is impossible.
I think if the CEO is already ill and knows that he could be deceased any time soon he would leave the company to someone he trust.
Or at least let the company continue and leave the funds behind for his family and for the company to continue to operate .
Just think about it if you are in the business and you already knew that you are ill you would do something about it and what's the point of taking other peoples money if you are already dead?
Unless someone is using him or he is only faking his own death?
Suspicious transactions was made way long before this incident happen which means it isnt planned yet being ill might be a reason for you to secure out funds for your family
or for any other reason. There are recent updates uncovered that this exchange was intended for lawlessness which means it isnt really tended to be listed on the very first place.
So it do uncovers the true color.
478  Economy / Economics / Re: Using bitpay creditcard for paying everything in BTC without fiat-money? on: March 29, 2019, 10:12:47 PM
I see some utility in Bitcoin based debit cards, but the main point here is that you aren't spending Bitcoin, but still fiat with high fees. If you already own a non Bitcoin debit card and it works just fine, then use that one instead.

In this case you're using an intermediary service on top of another intermediary service. You ask permission from BitPay to execute payments, and BitPay asks permission from Visa or whatever other base financial institution.
If we do think thoroughly it is really just still the same the only difference is the convenience that it gives when using Bitpay yet you can load some funds using up Bitcoin just like on what we are doing
with our traditional debit cards.
479  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Here we are! lovers' of bullish trend. on: March 29, 2019, 09:38:29 PM
I do believe that we all has the desire of seeing bitcoin and cryptocurrencies market be in good condition.
*sigh*

OP, you are full of hope but short on reality.  I had to take a look at preev, since I don't frequently check the price of bitcoin.  As I'm writing this, bitcoin is at $4083.  That's a fantastic price, and I'm very happy it finally broke $4k.  However, if you look at where it's been for the past year I don't think you can call this a bull market or even a bullish trend with any momentum behind it.  It seems quite possible that we're experiencing normal (and random) market fluctuations, with the probability still very high of dropping back to $3500 or lower.

What I'm saying is that OP is crying wolf, driven by emotion.  Hopefully he's not an active trader, else he's going to get pounded by the market.
This is why im quite tired on reading up these kind of speculative approach or insights towards bitcoins price without even trying to check the chart on how long we have been here on this ranges.
Comparing it on previous prices then we cant really consider this current situation as a start of bullish trend as you said this is just like a typical day on crypto market seeing some
small volatility but theres always some time on huge price swings but it doesnt indicate anytime that we are already heading for market reversal.
