I'm just looking at DEcred as a whole. How do they intend to identify themselves as they continue to grow? They are a very talented team, but are yet to really get our and market the coin. When they do, will they be promoting DEcred as a store of wealth type of coin?? Or are they intending it to be a coin for everyday use. I'm thinking with the limited supply and also the fact that most supply will be tired up in tickets at any one time, that it'll be a store of wealth coin. If this is the case then privacy features are critical or you miss the target market your intending to capture. Looking forward to potentially investing, just would like someone to explain DEcred goal or intention of how they'll market the coin.
The Decred team is focusing on developing the coin 1st, and once they feel it ready, they will do more marketing. After they incorporate lightning, I think the next major development will be privacy features. Ultimately IMO they will become the store of wealth coin. Also, if they wanted to become an everyday coin but needed 10x or 100x the # of coins the stakeholders could easily decide this by voting an doing a 10 for 1 split etc. That is the beauty of decred it can change without drama. |

Quick question. If I keep my ARDR on NXT wallet, after main-net launch, will ARDR continue to be asset on NXT wallet? If not, do ARDR plan to release own wallet?

i bought 1000 rads and moved to my wallet to start staking, few weeks ago but now i am missing 500 rads any help?
Thats scary :O ive recently started staking radium can you please help me with this issue? - everytime I receive a reward, the staking process stops. Then I always have to wait for few hours and restart the wallet to start the process again. whats the issue here? :? Not sure about the missing RADS. As far as having to restart, I have run into that very occasionally in the last 4 months or so I have been staking (like twice) usually it stakes without a restart. Check your firewall settings. |

Don't forget the voting mechanism which works very well. It gives an advantage in deciding the future development of the coin among other things and can help resolve conflicts like the ones bitcoin has struggled with in the past. I don't expect decred to dominate in any of the above fields. It doesn't need to, it just needs to be competitive in all. Essentially Decred will be the what people want Bitcoin to be. However the powerful governance, along with the developers fund will allow upgrades to happen without drama. I was a bitcoin maximalist once, but the bitcoin community infighting is a huge negative on progress. |

SIA has been in the business for a while, they have a great concept but unless big corporations such as google want to switch to that model I don't think they can get the customers they need

BarterDEX is almost revolutionary in the crypto world; I know others are working on something similar, but they are way behind Komodo. Few people do any research, but the ones that do realize Komodo is also working on more than just the Monaize dICO and BarterDEX, and I think those "few" people are starting to realize this. This hasn't started yet. Here is the thing, BarterDex will soon be a real working useful blockchain application, and I think that will mean a lot. How many really functional blockchain applications are out there? We are not talking cryto kitties, this is the real deal. Miners are salivating over the possibility of this application. It is going to drive real value, if you don't understand it I advise you do some more research. |
