4641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fell again, what conspiracy? on: September 28, 2019, 11:55:30 AM
I think one of the causes is the effect of trade war between China and America
and also the global economy is weak

dollar trade wars been going on for decades, centuries even, weak economy been going on since 2008... come on atleast try a bit better and stay relevant to this year

how about all those futures options that expired last year, people put into another yearly contract which they are now closing those contracts.(meaning something relevant to the last 12 months)

how about all those hashrate chatter causing people to panic because its not supporting a good bottom floor value line support(2 month floor puts btc at a ~$7k cost to mine).. in short the $10k price was inflated/bubble and not 'good value'

how about people now trying to register with brokers to use things like bakkt instead of buying direct thus less buyers and more sellers on the exchanges.

anyways. if you want to stick to the decade view of causes, here is the best one.
bitcoin has and will always be volatile like a stormy sea. with waves going up and down. dont expect a perpetual tidal wave growing constantly bigger and bigger. dont expect smooth sailing. always expect ups and downs

All of these factors you said are true. Volatility is the main problem of Bitcoin, so it is okay to see such a fall in a short period of time. The trade war also slightly affected the fall of Bitcoin. But, i have one question: Is this Bitcoin`s drop critical or not? As for me, it seems like the end of the bull market and the beginning of the bear market and Bitcoin will not be able to recover and get undressed to at least 10k now.
Please be guided that volatility is one of the asset of bitcoin and it isn't a problem. Comparing to stock market bitcoin is absolutely volatile that can change its value with in mere seconds. It is the asset that setting it a part from other markets , Decentralization is given though.

There are many threads here about the prediction. Check it out , you wont lose anything  Wink
4642  Other / Meta / Re: [Beware]Bitcointalk PHISHING attempt by E-Mail on: September 28, 2019, 09:42:28 AM
Since you actually received the message through your email instead of through Bitcointalk's messaging system like what happened to dkbit98, did you publicly submit your email on a bounty campaign topic by any chance(I assume some bounty campaigns requires you to submit your email/social media)? They'd have to get your email from somewhere. My guess that they got it through bounties as your email is hidden on your profile.
I checked his profile and his email address is hidden. Not sure if it was always hidden so maybe the spammer got his email address just by checking it on his profile.

Having alt accounts is not against the rules on bitcointalk and many highly ranked and trusted users here have alts. Bitcointalk wouldn't be sending such messages because you are not breaking any rules by having an alt account. Also, scams are not moderated here so even if an alt of yours has scammed the forum administration would not investigate such cases. Scammers get tagged by DTs but they don't get banned.
Same thought man , I have known many trusted members alts. Alts is defined on how you will use it. Many member abuse the legalization of alts by making money in it. Using their alts to scam and to abuse some signature campaigns.

bitcointalk doesnt send a message that you have an alt account. It never happen and it never will. We have other threads here in the forum about the same issue which is phishing. Its just sad that hackers are adopting to new way of hacking accounts that you wont know that you where hacked.
4643  Other / Meta / Re: Yobit spam on the forum on: September 28, 2019, 08:27:43 AM
They can bid, but they didn't get a slot. Theymos wrote this:
The trust feedback against you is too negative overall, so I won't accept your bids at this time.
theymos quoted

The trust feedback against you is too negative overall, so I won't accept your bids at this time.
Does it means that theymos wont accept any of their bids because they have too much negative feedback? or maybe theymos is giving them another chance to reclaim the accusation they have met and be trusted again.
Its just theymos is so kind to give a chance like this to yobit.

I wonder if yobit can reclaim the trust again of the users after these many scam allegations  Huh
4644  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Another site caught not being "provably fair" Luckyfish.io on: September 28, 2019, 02:21:44 AM
I don't know yet if i's true or not but I do believe there are a lot sites out there have the same problem, not being provably fair or even scamming. Well, if you think this website is a scam, creating a thread on scam accusation section would be very good for all of us Smiley
It's true as you can read other accusation about that site. If a site doesn't or can't prove their provably fair, it means they are scamming their own player. That's why many people prefer to gamble in older gambling sites, such like PD, Bitsler, Stake, Yolodice, ETC rather than new gambling site.
Oh I see, so this OP was not aware (just like me) of that site, as the site has been accused as scam earlier on march and now he is a victim, a fish of that luckyfish. Well.. at least this can be a new experience for him, so he will be more careful of new gambling sites.
There are too many gambling sites that did a good history of serving gamblers. Reading in the forum can make you extra cautious with the things you can make. New gambling sites that aren't stable risky. The reason or the key that makes you play on new gambling sites is the promos and extra services that the new gambling sites make. Be cautious on what are you playing at.
4645  Economy / Reputation / Re: Request Support (or Opposition) for Flags here! on: September 28, 2019, 02:10:39 AM
So, after 3/10 years scammer will have chance to scam again, good!! very good!!!
Correct:

Can there be a possibility that a flag account that is once flagged can be flagged again , Or can DT add a time or extend the time of a flagged account? Just thinking  Roll Eyes

4646  Economy / Reputation / Re: Did yahoo's account get hacked? on: September 27, 2019, 10:38:45 PM
@Yahoo is a good and reputed manager so I trust his judgement. We haven't worked together although I wish we do that someday. Cryptotalk isn't Yobit exchange, from my understanding they're just using yobit advertisment management service to promote their forum which happen to be through Bitcointalk forum. Just like any other projects out there using Google AdSense to promote their business that doesn't give the project same reputation as Google, vise versa. Bitcointalk has been a host to numerous scams through project ANN, signature ads etc that doesn't make Bitcointalk a scam platform.

Judge Cryptotalk as Cryptotalk, if Yahoo managing the campaign will reduce the rate at which spam posts are been paid for then, that's a positive news. Only wish he was given more privileges like been in charge of acceptance of members that would had been a more positive news.
Same thought dude, Its not yahoo's to be blame on. yahoo were caught on fire just by doing some manager's job (quality checker).

As you said yobit were just a mere payment method here and yobit is not the one who were promoted , Its just that spammers were too quick to find out they can spam a campaign like these.

or is it maybe the Cryptotalk plan to make them hyped up by making yobit as their campaign payment method  Huh Shocked If it is their plan , Its starting to work  Shocked
4647  Economy / Reputation / Re: Yobit/Cryptotalk signature campaign participants on: September 27, 2019, 08:19:07 PM
Cryptotalk is paying people to spam bitcointalk? Sounds like forum wars.

I spotted few "one line" spammers but it seems some users have found a way to bypass "anti-spam" rules:

Experia
Bitkoyns
cozytrade

cca 20 posts ("bounty authentication") posted by each account in an hour and a half.
Adding the list

zupdawg       ("BOUNTY AUTHENTICATION SPAM")
kSL              (ONE LINER POST)
scanderpot    (post from 2019 are one liner post)

I'll try finding other spammers and I will be adding them to this list.
4648  Economy / Reputation / Re: Yobit/Cryptotalk signature campaign participants on: September 27, 2019, 07:56:37 PM
It shows how many high-ranking accounts are just waiting to activate the moment there's a financial gain.

My version of the list here. I wanted to produce more stats on Merit per post, but unlike the ChipMixer applications, most users barely have anything to show for.
I liked the list that you did , It is well organized. You even have a website for bitcointalk user's data.

It shows how many high-ranking accounts are just waiting to activate the moment there's a financial gain.

My version of the list here. I wanted to produce more stats on Merit per post, but unlike the ChipMixer applications, most users barely have anything to show for.

I don't have to worry about my post , I know that it has some quality ,It's just have I came to a campaign that include a lot of spammers and shit posters. But i'll make more good quality post to have some merit, That can help the future of my bitcoin escapade.
4649  Economy / Reputation / Re: Yobit/Cryptotalk signature campaign participants on: September 27, 2019, 07:18:37 PM
Its true that I am quite not active these days and not posting anything , But I'm spectating discretely here in the forum. It just I found the right campaign to regain my activeness here in the forum. If you see me spamming you can freely give me some negative trust. I can make quality post to build out my account again. Btw thank you for making this. I like to find out the shit poster here in the forum.

For reference,
I got some personal problem that is one of the factors I can't do some posting here in the forum.
4650  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🍀BetHash.io | Free $4,000 GiftBox Offer! Crypto Gaming Hub |💰Lottery 🎲 Dice🍀 on: September 27, 2019, 03:58:45 PM
First time doubting this game platform, it doesn't make sense that this game is more interesting, compared to war games
but my assumption is wrong by looking at the performance and development of this project.
There are too much games to play , You did have a choice if you want to play on this gambling site. Iv'ed check their website and It looks good to me.
War games is very different from this if you are comparing it. Its a casino man!
4651  Economy / Services / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] on: September 27, 2019, 03:33:17 PM
it's hard to keep up with 20 posts but it's a good motivation if you have a debt to pay  Cheesy
Really have made my day  Grin Its not just funny , It has something related to my personal life, Keeping motivated from different problems.

I was really waiting for you to accept this before I would consider applying.

Question: Will there be no payment problem for newly created Yobit accounts?
Same Question here , Ive just created new account from yobit. The reason is I lost the account key on my computer since I've stop using yobit in a year. Anyways Ive registered in this campaign and I will try to check it out if I will encounter problem with my new yobit account.
4652  Economy / Services / Re: ⭐ MultiCoinGames.com ⭐ Signature Campaign on: July 27, 2019, 10:42:11 AM
I think , this wont do to promote your gambling site. Member here are seing signature campaign a better way to promote and to earn their salary.
4653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is growing at nonstop rates in my country on: December 29, 2018, 09:16:37 PM
I used to tell my friends everyday that gambling will be the next thing to implode lol. The rate at which it's growing is so bad and since gambling sites have been profiting from it, they won't rest. Not at all, they'll continue to lure people to throw their money away. They'll say play with caution but we all know you can't play with caution once you're there.
We cant deny the fact that gambling is part of our daily life. Ofcourse its all about the money. Gambling sites owner gave them a offer that they cant resist , Gamblers just choose them because of the offers because they want to play and to earn money. Its all about the money they seek and the owner wants to get some money from the players they been lured out. Money/Valuables is the main reason why gambling has been invented
4654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: December 29, 2018, 09:08:29 PM
Before When the time Im still an addict , I will not deny that I cant live a day without playing a gambling game. I literally play a minimum time of an hour just to play gambling until my money goes out. Its my bad habit before then. Im glad that I can live a week without playing gambling , ofcourse I play gambling until today but It is more of controlled.
4655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: thinking quiting after lose on gambling. on: December 29, 2018, 07:39:55 PM
If you are really addicted to gambling and you're not used to losing then I think that this option is needed, it can actually help you regain yourself, because in my own perspective I only gamble once or twice in a week whether if it is through crypto or fiat, and I also am ready to face whatever outcome it may be, basically speaking if you have self-control then I think that you'd know when is the right time to quit or just to simply stop gambling for a while.
You’re right man. You need to have just basic control about yourself on spending on playing gambling and you should come up to a realization that you can lose a certain amount of money on playing gambling that can lead you yourself to another realization that you are addicted to it.
4656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing casino games online a good idea? on: December 29, 2018, 04:49:57 PM
For me playing on a online casino has a positive and a negative sides , For example. Me myself , I play on a real casino because I have a lot of friends playing. One of the negative sides is I cant play with my friends socially but when they are not on on playing I play online and that is for me the positive side. There are more positive and negative sides it is just depending on yourself on how you see it.
4657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have I joined at the wrong time? on: December 29, 2018, 03:37:26 PM
The cryptocurrency market is very volatile. In order to join it, you must choose the moment when the price is at its lowest point.
Ofcourse , maybe the OP just invested on the peak of crypto that almost all of the crypto tokens are on their peak. We cant blame it but Earning a small amount of profit during the hype is a essential move specially that if it is on its peak.
4658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ethereum will rise again. on: December 29, 2018, 03:34:40 PM
Etherum is having a very bad situation now. Nearly 50 percent reduction only occurs in a few weeks. Of course this is a very difficult thing for anyone who suffers from Etherum. This is a direct loss, but when we can think more openly, we must know that the price of Etherum is very likely to increase. The quality of Etherum has been recognized by everyone and therefore Etherum has gained a very good level of public trust.
So it's not impossible that the price of Etherum will increase again.
I bought some ETH last month, which is half the price of the current price, but I still believe that its price can rise.
Yeah, ethereum will surely hit its price we speculated. Have you heard of Ethereum version 2.0 that will be released on most probably next year? Vitalik already spoils what could the ethereum will be on next year after upgrading with faster and complex transaction rate. Just imagine a blockchain that could do a thousands of transaction in a second, that will bring outrageous people to the market.
So it has a good news a waiting in the future. Many will expect a good price after this year maybe, It can also build a hype on making whales buy ethereum again. Maybe this can affect price of the whole market place.
4659  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding coins on: December 28, 2018, 10:53:49 AM
I have about 200 different cryptocurrencies in my portfolio and I store them in various places, both on exchanges, if I need an amount for trading, and on online wallets, I have not yet tried cold storage
I think thats too much to handle. I only handle about 13 tokens on my wallet and still its hard for me to monitor each of it each time. Learning the news about each coin every time.
4660  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: There is no magic in trading on: December 28, 2018, 09:41:40 AM
If you are realistic enough, you won't think that it's possible in trading.
IMO, trading is a risky activity where you could loss money, however, we can expect that we have a better chance here compared to gambling.
But this is not gonna happen easily, we need to consider trading as our journey so we will be able to give time to it in order to develop ourselves.

It's journey that is intended for long term, as no one would quit if he will become consistent but adjustments still needed along the way.
I have the same perception with you. Experience , talent , skill and luck is one of the most needed factors on becoming a successful trader. Earning money their is not easily as it says , We need to acquire many factors in order to became a successful trader.
