today i sold my bitcoins because the bitcoin is droping day by day,, dont know when it will rise again, i want to know what is the good time to buy bitcoin??
Nobody knows, honestly. Not even satoshi himself(alive or dead). Retrospectively speaking, you sent out this post at around the same time bitcoin was at $1800. That was an excellent buy in time, i've bee nsaying all this time when bitcoin does get down below $2000 it's buy time because price will rebound very quickly. But now it's $2800, and it's overvalued again. Plus, a few days before 1st August we will see panic probably. Scaling is a good thing but if this thing results in a chain split then it's probably not. Either way i'm glad at least something is done.

Careful there, buddy. Unless I've somehoe missed out a really crucial update to ChipMixer services, your comments sound really out of place. Investing, for example? Mining?
Ignore him. It's probably just a spammer. He just posted his application on ChipMixer Signature Campaign and I bet that only posted this nonsense to follow the Rule 3 of the campaign. 3. You are required to have one post per week in the ChipMixer ANN thread, or else you may receive a partial payment. Hopefully he will get denied by DarkStar soon. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Reported. It's obvious that he's posting nonsensical posts that nobody can understand just to gain his precious extra ANN post.
Anyways there is no reason to be worry as a customer of chipmixer honestly because a) you have already withdrawn your chip and got the private key in return which you can use at any time, sweep, and use on both chains if hadrd fork happens or b) you have a voucher code/bitcoin in your wallet in which case you can use the service after it reopens. So doesn't really matter either way, you're in control. That's the beauty of Chipmixer using private keys.

Them being transparent means that they openly share all their mining addresses...
Someone on reddit asked the following question: "Where's Genesis Mining in all this? They've supposedly got a massive massive mining operation. Yet I never see them on any of the pie charts ..." The subject of the discussion was about: 82.1% GB Miners just started signallingWhere is genesis mining? If they are a mining company because I do not see them in this image: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redditmedia.com%2Fw1X-frSd4-z8aHAOf5-r_TD83IGTG4b0gu3568PYZdE.png%3Fw%3D406%26s%3D628f3bfed486d3875c3613afc824ff5a&t=663&c=HL88K7k3pOd4pQ) Hashflare is the same story.
You should already have read everyone's comments, and everyone agrees that these 2 cloud mining companies are not profitable. Oh I speak from experience myself and I gave up this genesis mining a long time ago Well genesis mining could be in the other pools, and so could hashflare. However it seems extremely unlikely that when you have such a widely known cloud mining operation going on you choose to entire other people's pools and pay a fee and risk your funds instead of just doing it all yourself. Yeah it's more risk but you get more in the long run. If you were to choose one between the two then definitely genesis mining. Hashflare definitely has very little reputation compared to Genesis mining. More effort has been put into creating their site by genesis as well imo.

Hi folks, I'm new posting here but old investor. I was wondering if there's a direct correlation between bitcoin price and www.bitcoin.com and Gold price www.goldprice.com . If you look at the charts in evident that gold started to drop when bitcoin did or vice versa? Is there any systematic correlation? Thanks in advance Short term wise, i don't think so. Even if there was a correlation it is definitely an extremely small one, smal enough to be ignored. Reason being that bitcoin is influenced by factors within its own community, such as forks, network congestion, transaction fees and the demand of bitcoin overall. Gold is completely different, obviously you would expect gold to go up when fiats are weak and vice versa. Bitcoin hasn't got the sort of status yet to do the same things gold is doing. But in the long term i suspect gold and bitcoin will all be in an up trend as more and more people realise fiat isn't the solution to our problems.

What the best choice?
I think that you're thinking that 1st August will certainly end in a chain split, but this has not been confirmed by anyone and the future is quite uncertain. The worst scenario is obviously a chain split and two or maybe more networks running alongside each other but that could be different from reality. Anyways, i'm cashing out 80% right now. Price is sky high, nearing the all time high actually. Nothing to lose if you sell now, the worst you can do is lose a couple of hundred bucks in potential profits. But the risk is high, imo and it's best to wait it out, buy back in 7st August or so, 1 week after the 1 August date. Whatever you do, hold your own private keys if you decide to hold any sort of bitcoin. Don't hold anything on coinbase, coinjar, xapo, etc.

@Duckdice it is sort of disgraceful how you're referring to the people playing at your site as "terrorists" and "blackmailers" DuckDice will not "negotiate with terrorists". We see this case as a pure blackmail and therefore DuckDice will not make any refund. There is nothing shady or scammy, it is user's responsibility to read confirmation messages. Better make a thread and ask how many members won big with our bonuses. I can assure you that you're the only company in the entire bitcoin world to say that when someone cancels their bonus their whole balance before that goes away with it. This is just unfair to the user, whether or not you made it clear. Plus he was in the positive, why would he logically cancel his balance and donate them to you? Donating to charity isn't going to solve the issue. Coins belong to your customer and he hasn't given consent of giving it to anyone. Your rep isn't going to change as long as if you don't solve this issue. Plus, your customer WON money. If you were to donate the btc to charity, donate everything that he has won, not just the portion he deposited.

I have heard others that have complained about the same thing, basically bittrex locking their account and demanding your personal information(drivers licence, passport, proof of residency the whole bundle) before you can unlock your account.
OP, this is exactly why you shouldn't just trust any exchange with your money. Not even the most trusted of them. They definitely need to make the warning more clear and visible for the user before they deposit because otherwise you can always claim that
Now though, the only way to get your money back is by verifying your account.
P.S. I have had like $1500 in my bittrex last year and they never asked me for anything. Maybe it's selective?

First thing I get in my email this morning is that my C-Cex password has been changed. I've never used C-Cex before so who cares. I went to see if maybe I signed up way back in the day so I reset my password again. The brand new password won't work. I tried resetting it again. It doesn't work. I try to open a ticket and it says the captcha is wrong. I try to do anything and the website is down for "5-7 minutes of maintenance" (which so far has lasted 10hours.).
What the hell am I supposed to do now? I just want them to close my (non existent) account so they don't get screwed over from some hacker. I have nothing to lose there so I really don't care. I'd just rather not get these emails every single time their crappy exchange gets hacked. It seems to be every 3-6 months I get another email.
I have a secure system and I'm not getting hacked so I know C-Cex is getting hacked. My password was very long and random and never reused. I'd appreciate if anyone knows how I can get my account closed without opening a ticket since even that doesn't work on their site lol.
Are you 100% sure you landed on the original c-ex website? There is a strong possibility that it was a phishing email and you landed on a phishing page and put the username/password. In this case, if you don't have any c-ex account then nothing to worry much, but if you had one, you might have passed your credentials ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Spot on. Except this won't explain why the c-cex website(the actual one, not the phishing one) was down. I'm sure that OP would have noticed when he typed in the URL himself, unless he typed the url wrong as well. It's back up for me now but loading extremely slowly. OP, just for security change all your passwords right now. There is still a probability that you received a phishing email. Did you use a password on the c-cex site that you use on any other accounts? If yes, then especially hurry up and reset all your passwords right now.

Posting pics out in the open would be much simpler and will get you a lot more potential buyers. Keeping everything public will also make you seem a lot more trustworthy than just a newbie with 5 activity points.
I'm interested in the silver coins/bars. What do you have?
Do you ship to australia? If yes, how much will the shipping, insurance etc. costs be? Also of course, any escrow on the transactions as ikilledcobain said? If you really don't want to reveal these info in the open, please PM me.
Thanks

I just used the mixer for the first time. It all went completely smooth. I do have a question, however: If you choose to sweep the coins with the built-in sweeper in the web page, what are the fees taken out from the chips, if any? I couldn't find any mention of this on the page or the FAQs.
I did not use this option since I did not know what the fees would be. Could I be enlightened?
Fees would simply be the bitcoin network transaction fee. Chipmixer does not actually charge anything, everything is in your hands and in your control because you do have your own private keys. I would assume that Chipmixer calculates the transaction fee by taking a recommended transaction fee per byte from a site like 21.co. Anyways, this is really not an issue for anyone since if you're not satisfied with the amount of fees chipmixer is paying for your transaction, you can always import the private keys into blockchain.info or another wallet and send the transaction yourself. Well yeah, I would assume so. The weigh of my questions really lies on whether they pay the fees for the sweeping transactions themselves or if they are taken away from the chip's worth of value. I could see them maybe offering the former as a sort of additional feature of the mixer (potentially by pooling transactions and minimizing transaction fees, albeit it could be revealing of the mixer used). Of course, this is all just icing on the cake and the only reason I ask is because not much information is given on this feature. I don't really get what you mean by the above reply. I would assume that mixers aren't used for small transactions. If you have small transactions then you should definitely just send the bitcoins directly, thee would be no point for anyone to use chipmixer for amounts under 0.005 BTC. Transaction fees make little difference to big chips like 1.024 BTC chips. Using multiple inputs and outputs might be a threat to privacy, makes it easier to track. Best to keep it individual.

As stated in title. This is basicaly 1:1 preev.
You take care of the transaction fee--I don't care if you skimp as long as it doesn't take 14 days for the transaction to confirm.
I'm not going first unless you're very trusted. I'll only deal with trusted members and this is at my discretion.
Please post here as opposed to PMs. I like to keep transactions out in the open. Thanks.
My BTC address is 1As24mzicrYQLXDEWKGQ8ZjeyvYhgWLRAx. You'll have to send your PP address via PM.
Edit: I'm at work in the cracker factory tonight, so there might be a few minutes' delay in response.
I'll do it. Is 0.01 BTC alright with you so that the transaction fee involved can be split somewhat evenly between us? If not it's fine. I'll just wait for your confirmation before sending the bitcoins, so there are no hiccups. Let me know if you want to go ahead, thanks. Oh and BTW, you are sending as friends and family on pp, correct? Thanks in advance ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I need that exact amount. And I have to pay a PP fee to send funds to you, but I'll eat that if you eat the confirmation fee. I can send first, but PM me your PP address again. And yes, I'll send F&F. I've always thought that if you sent money as friends and family with the same currency that you have a balance with on paypal you don't need to pay any fees. It's goods and services that demands a fee. Guess i was mistaken, then. Anyways, pm'd you with my paypal email. Let me know when you have sent. I'll send you the amount mentioned in OP then, no worries.

As title says i am looking for trusted paypal funds. Only trusted members, do not bother if you do not have trades from at least 200 days prior without any issues afterwards. I can send first if you have a very good history and rep, otherwise you send first/arrange escrow.
You must send funds as f&f. Preev rates 1:1. I can buy up to $100 at once or have smaller trades.
PM or post here, thank you
EDIT: No longer needed. Thank you.

First of all I find it extremely unlikely that any competitors would want to 'frame' chipmixer as a scammer. That is extremely unlikely. There is a possibility that a user just wants to get free coins.
Be in a safe environment and make sure your computer is free of viruses. Chipmixer has no reason to steal your money when they've spent so much on developing and promoting this. Sweep the keys if you need to.
I find it odd that people think chipmixer is somehow less trustworthy than other services who just send the coins directly to you. If you think about it it's about exactly the same likelihood that they will scam, which is almost zero especially if dealing with small amounts.

The main shift in investors attitude imo is a move out of gold, and into silver and bitcoin. Obviously gold is still going to be a big part of the financial system but there are probably more silver supporters, and bitcoin adoption is obviously skyrocketing. As the market cap gradually shifts in bitcoin's favour, so will the price. Don't forget that every single halving thus far have proved to be the killer of bear markets. I don't expect the 2020 halving to be any less than this, $55000 seems crazy now but could well be the price of each bitcoin by 2022. Plenty of time, 5 years.

Kralle was here MY BALLS YOUR FACE ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) THANKS NEOTOX FOR THE ACCOUNT FROM 60$ I DID MAKE AGAIN OVER 2 BTC ^^ You face, your ass what's the diffrence
Your Mom will be proud of you, but left a clue who you are in real : http://imgur.com/a/oHhj4Soon or later you will be caught. Ok, so he told him to write purchahs from directcoin1. A quick google search reveals that directcoin1 is a localbitcoins seller: https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/DIRECTCOIN1/Two possibilities: 1. aadje = directcoin OR, much more likely 2. aadje using directcoin as a gateway to convert his newly scammed funds into bitcoin, anonymously without having to involve himself. This is probably what happened, in my opinion. If someone that has traded with DIRECTCOIN can reach him on localbitcoins/other IMs that he may use and ask him to kindly see what's going on and provide some info about the user that traded with him yesterday then we can definitely dig deeper into this.

Okay so from what i can tell this is quite an elaborate scam, correct me if i'm wrong:
1. Admin("The One") opens up site 2. Creates bunch of alt accounts, make them VIP and add reputation score to each person 3. Create tons of attractive ads 4. On all of these ads they list escrow as either bitbankescrow/The One escrow service/The godfather escrow service, all of which are actually the same organization/person 5. Once a victim falls into their trap, they're banned asap from all sites.
Is that somewhat accurate? Anyways, sorry for your loss but you got real greedy there trying to strike an impossible deal.

I believe that they're popular mainly because well it was the first of all cryptocurrencies to be made. Honestly most of the other coins are scams and greedy ways that the developers make money. The only other coin I can think of that isn't a scam are dogecoins! What do you think?
Actually you'd be surprised at the number of people thinking that altcoins are superior to bitcoin. However as you said, the majority still prefer bitcoin as their day to day cryptocurrency and their go to place to store their wealth. I think that the main reason is bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency, and the longest lasting. Another reason is that altcoins have proven to die off over time. For instance, Namecoin was the first altcoin but now nobody uses it. It used to have a lot of hype as well. Litecoin was ASIC resistant but that wore off over time somewhat, so now its popularity is not even half of Ethereum's. Based on this we can safely deduce that Ethereum and other altcoins will probably be replaced by new altcoins in 4-5 years time. The fact is that you can always have better lines of code based on the previous coin, but you can't write the reputation of a coin on lines of code. And bitcoin has a lot of reputation for what it does.

What a fuckwad. He's "calling" for a big bitcoin correction - based on what, his few months looking at crypto and his mad skilz at crypto speculation? Guess what dumbass, the fact douchebag billionaires like you are finally talking about bitcoin is why it isn't dumping anytime soon.
Bitcoin correction could well come, personally i do think that one day or another we will see a pretty major correction, but it won't break the $2000 floor. However what disturbs me is that he's trying to sell the idea of a bitcoin collapse to people that don't know about bitcoin, spread FUD about bitcoin by using his publicity and thousands of twitter followers. He obviously is quite a progressive guy so not sure why he hates bitcoin so much. And he seems to have changed his mind about cryptos after all? He is investing in an ICO IIRC, not sure which project though. Why would be invest in an altcoin, when he hates bitcoin? Don't trust anyone that changes their mind, tells one thing and does another either... Lol.
