4721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: March 19, 2016, 09:31:45 AM

You need not to go somewhere else to find that bitcoin is being used for illegal activities, let alone the selling of gmail and facebook accounts in the digital goods section. in the deep web, there are drugs being sold for bitcoin and its no surprise. we all know fiat and bitcoin is no difference since they both have good value.
4722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH DUMP IS ON HOLY SHIT on: March 18, 2016, 02:58:28 PM
ETH goes up and down a few bucks this week and people think it means a crash and game over? LOL who are the real idiots here.

Yeah you're right! you're right! who are they?
Are they the ones who loses money or the ones who pumped and didn't get to profit because users are becoming smarter? but then of course you know better.
4723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: would you have the courage to do this? on: March 18, 2016, 01:28:37 PM
you have to be so stupid to do this.
i don't care what the outcome of his bet was, it is not wise to do such a thing. the risk is too high and in case of losing you will lose everything, become homeless.

my legs are trembling just thinking about doing this.

from the article:

"All the interviews and documentaries that surrounded his bet guaranteed he earned good money – he would have won big even if he lost!  A smart publicity stunt?  Or a crazy and irresponsible Roulette story?"  Grin

Must be the later.
He should be on drugs. No one in the right mind would do such unless of course he's lying because i do think he is. This is too bullshit to be real.
4724  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to 5000$ soon on: March 18, 2016, 07:18:21 AM
5000USD may never happen, you'll realize later that if the price steps on $500 or probably 700$, a lot of users are going to dump their coins hoping they could buy more when the price is dragged down.
4725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [MMA Tips] UFC 197 Cormier Vs Jones 2 on: March 18, 2016, 06:54:40 AM
Here are some upcoming matches and odds according to the sportsbook of betcoin.ag

March 20 Frank Mir (+148) Vs Mark Hunt (-192)
April 11 Junior Dos Santos (-106) Vs Ben Rothwell (-120)
April 17 Dan Henderson (+250) Vs Lyoto Machida (-345)

I'm going with Mir, Dos Santos and Henderson  Grin

Dan Henderson isn't retiring still, what the hell is wrong with this guy? i can't remember he ever win since the last 3 years. This should be n easy bet for anyone. go for Lyoto Machida!
4726  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Latin American economies are turning to bitcoin on: March 18, 2016, 06:30:59 AM
I read stuff like this all the time. I used to get excited by it, expecting some kind of a surge in mainstream adoption bit as usual it leads to nothing.

Yes. thats the problem with press releases you can keep reading them but its mostly not true. No silly country/government would prefer to use bitcoin. fiat is easier to use of course and can't be tracked.
4727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To all people who think ether is the best thing to happen since sliced bread on: March 17, 2016, 03:40:20 PM
You appreciate LTC because it was a copycat of BTC?It has no use since there is no need for number 2.

There is a need for a number 2.

If there were several different coins with the same utility as bitcoin, we wouldn't be having a block size flamefest right now.

Like Linux distributions. If like me you like RPM, you use RHEL or SuSE or Fedora.
If you like debian packages you use Debian or Mint.
If you don't value privacy and don't mind Amazon tracking you by default you use Ubuntu (yeah yeah I hear they fixed that...)

Competition is good for the market, monopoly is not.

Bitcoin for all practical purposes has a monopoly. That's why people are fighting over who controls it. Monopolies have a lot of power.

Finally someone who gets it. I am tired of people saying we dont need altcoins. If bitcoin is the only coin in the future we will actually have a worse financial system than we have now, bitcoin is huge and it is entirely possible that at some point in the future miners could get greedy or bitcoin could be attacked. In a case like this people will need another coin they can transfer to. Bottom line it never hurts to have alternatives to fall back on if something goes wrong down the line.

Yes competition is good. Bitcoin users however stick to btc. probably because they see nothing to ETH but a scam attempt considering most of them are.  What do ETH offer by the way?

Lets say Ubuntu is bitcoin after all its the most used derivative, easy to use, newbie can just use the graphical synaptic manager to install. no command line knowledge needed and so on..

so which is eth?

My idea is 1 satoshi. and you can view or watch the porn in 1 day.
anyone wanna work with me Smiley

Lolz porn company will be bankrupt with that amount, they cant profit from 1 satoshi for a porn a day.
If you want to cams the girls there will have a hard time trying to make money with that.

Sex sells thats what it is. even if the user can view porn the entire day with just 1 satoshi, the site will still earn a lot especially if users get to reach about 2 million a day.  It would take an extra ordinary site with extra ordinary videos of extra ordinary porn stars however.  Grin

I'm interested to the position.
I don't have any sample article related to cryptocurrencies besides the ones that were published elsewhere but in my blog. would you count  them?
4730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH DUMP IS ON HOLY SHIT on: March 17, 2016, 01:53:53 PM
i had some big buy orders set on a lower than market price the other day and i was planning on buying but after seeing how the market is acting i said to myself this is getting to risky to day-trade anymore so i canceled them before i went to sleep.

it was a good right after all, so much little profit made each day Cheesy

ETH is contributing the cryptos and so it helped bitcoin as well.
ETH fans should buy more when it gets cheaper actually. This is going to help ETH's economy sort of what happen to bitcoin, its normal that prices down but this however is if they all are still not dropping everything.
4731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: March 17, 2016, 10:47:35 AM

I don't see any new thread about ETH this time. what happen to them users?
Although I'm expecting a speculation thread and it could sprout any moment this time, maybe " ETH $100 next month thread".
4732  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Do I Get Bitcoin Fast? on: March 17, 2016, 10:34:48 AM
How do I get bitcoin fast without faucet and gambling? Smiley

buy bitcoins, that's how simple that it.
but if you mean acquiring it for free, then thats the hard part. i myself join a signature campaign here which pay me bitcoin for every post.

Try checking the services section in this forum you'll see some users selling something or services like gmail/facebook accounts for sale.
4733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fake "Anonymity of Bitcoin" Urban Legend.(Terrible Things You Didn't Know About) on: March 17, 2016, 10:22:50 AM
You can definitely create new bitcoin address for ever transaction that way, you won't have to worry being tracked.

But then sometimes leaving footprints on "stake your bitcoin address thread" can help as leaving a sign message for verification.
4734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: SCN on: March 17, 2016, 08:52:10 AM
Another one?
these guys are very much hopeful, i wonder how many coins does one dev has to create to make a fortune. create a bitcoinbtalk account again and posts. i bet you have created more than 5 coins already. and all of them are simply scam.
4735  Economy / Services / Re: Have a Paypal Account? We give you minimum 10k per week on: March 17, 2016, 06:38:47 AM
100 % this is definitely some kind of money-laudering. You received a large amount of funds from who knows where and you are looking for an individual to basically "wash" this money. So basically what you want to do is you want someone to exchange these "funds" acquired who knows how for bitcoin. I doubt anyone wants to do this and I recommend no one takes this individual on this offer.

....now it's "money laundering"....

Some people here have a paranoid personality disorder.

In a few posts I guess I will also be a genocidal?

its simple as scam no matter what you call it. the only outcome i can think is you get the btc and the dispute from paypal. no risk involve to you.  and you double your money. it sure is a win-win to you. poorly attempt but it happens almost everyday here.. you can't entice someone with that.
4736  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can police take you to the psychiatric hospital with no probable cause? on: March 17, 2016, 04:09:37 AM
is she going mad?
Seem very unlikely but lets say she's telling the truth, she could file an abduction case for that as far as i know. Even if her parents give permission or invitation, it doesn't count since she was being forced.
4737  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: if you have free electricity and 10k on: March 16, 2016, 06:38:50 PM
if electricity is free, then go ahead.
i would certainly try to set up mining system not just to earn but also to learn how mining works. things would be different especially if you can mine bitcoin and other altcoin as well.
4738  Economy / Services / Re: Have a Paypal Account? We give you minimum 10k per week on: March 16, 2016, 05:59:40 PM
First smart guy here on the forum....despite the fact there is still a big misunderstanding about how pp works with debt collection.
+1

Just forget it. go somewhere else. there is no room for more of you here  Grin didn't you know there are more clever scammer here than you?
now create another account and perhaps show a website you own to which shows what you really can do, make it believable for us. sort of a pro scammer.  Grin
we always like how clever a scammer can become. The newer technique, the better  Grin
4739  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info online wallet error on: March 16, 2016, 05:26:41 PM
thats just bummer 200 minutes more to spend before you can access your coins. this is another reason to maybe use the hard wallet.
this is probably due to the update they did weeks ago, there seen to have issues about it lately and users get to complain about sign message being taken out.
4740  Economy / Services / Re: rent my signature space on: March 16, 2016, 05:16:17 PM
how could I increase my signature I made this thread solely for removing my negative trust, can you advise me about removing my
negative trust and turning it in to green Huh

You may never have the chance to make it green anymore, i hate to be the one to break that to you but there is no newbie here in bitcointalk.org with red trust and have eventually turned it green. but if you can do it, you're one lucky bastard. You're taking a high dive in a low well.  Grin
