Nobody wants to lose but everybody wants to win that's the main problem Smiley

That's the nature of a gambler..everyone wants to win and always aiming for the best...A gambler never have a goal of just giving away their money..

But the problem is that they end up almost always on the losing side. They never wanted to lose but simply going into gambling sites or entering a casino almost always guarantee a lose because of the house edge. This fact cannot be denied but gamblers always come back to it because they are addicted. And that has always been the problem.

You have to get some other hobbies that don't involve luck and money in the same action. You must find some other way to spend time that is ideally free (nothing is really free bla blah but you get the idea). You can just watch some movies or join a gym and do some exercise, it's good for stress. Gambling addiction is a real problem, almost any alternative is better.

need to move out from that environment that always make you gamble again and again. To move out that you need some support from your family or relatives.

don't see gambling info, delete your site links, don't read this section. Focus your mind on girls, sports, or cigarettes..

I think you are just replacing gambling addiction with a equally disastrous habit. Cigarettes and girls can be as devastating as gambling. Better focus on colecting money. It is what they say, chase girls and you'll lose money. But you will never lose girls chasing money.

focus too much on chasing money is not good and can fire back. money has its dark side, it can eat your soul slowly. you can lose girls and many things.

How can you lose girls chasing money? Chase money, earn a lot, be rich. Then girls will be chasing you. And you can be rich without selling your soul. You do not have to do illegal activities. Just earn money legally and all is good. I think it is way better than replacing gambling addiction with womanizing and cigarette smoking.

Compared to the time 2 years ago, the price is less then 1/2 and it hasn't risen over 500$ in a long time. So I m not convinced in anything anymore.

2 years ago was right after the gox price manipulation. You can not see this artificial created run as real growth.
It was obvious that after that a very long correction would happen. And it took us around 22 months to rehabilitate.
During that time the fundamentals have become better and better.
And this year we will see even more growth and improvements regarding the network and value.

He is right. That manipulation hurt bitcoin a lot. Without the trust of this community, bitcoin could have died that day. But this halving can bring some good effects to bitcoin hopefully. We might not reach a new ATH right away but the price will definitely go up. And hopefully steady increase in few years to come.

Adrenaline junkies are going after the same fix,the down time is when the brain wants to be stimulated and the reason they need to try riskier things to stimulate the brain as in gambling. Trade one addiction for another more positive and you have quickly solved the problem.

Yeah, go for something that is actually productive. Be a work addict or trade addict and it will actually improve your life. You don't have to be stuck to gambling and be a loser when there are other activities that can give you the same high  but can improve your life.

4786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin survive world war III? on: March 27, 2016, 02:51:01 PM
if we all die in the WW III bitcoin will die because there will be no one left to use it also if have like anuclear exploision it will frie all the electronic stuff so we won't have no electricity or internet again bitcoin dies

The main issue is the electricity and the internet service, because Bitcoin is dependent in this two elements to survive, however i don't think that all the humanity will die even if WW III happen because it will finish with a gainer anyway

If the superpowers start nuking each other, then survival is not a question anymore. We will all be dead by then and bitcoin, even if it survives will be useless. In case of world war, survival is utmost importance, not money or digital currency. Water, food and medicine will be the most important things.

Kawhi Leonard, Lamarcus Aldridge, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili won't play tonight. The match is starting now, I'm sure Oklahoma City will get a comfortably win tonight.
Why did these guys did not play? Did not watch the game, I am busy today. Is this another strategy of pop? Is he resting them for big fights or is he trying to deepen their bench? Anyway, as long as they win against gsw on their next match, i'm okay with it. Big money on their next match.
4788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: March 27, 2016, 02:27:00 PM
I see there is so many people trying hard to stop gambling their money because they've losing so much
If you not ready to lose your money, then don't even try to gamble!

ready to lose money can change anything? ready or not, loss is still loss, loan is still loan, doesn't make it disappear, doesn't bring a money rain to cover it.
I think what he means is to gamble only what you can afford to lose. So that when you lose, you do not have the urge to recover it back and you can quit gambling. Otherwise, you'll just keep on betting and trying hard to recover your loss. This could be a start of gambling problems.
4789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: March 27, 2016, 02:22:46 PM
I don't think i would gamble if i were rich because there are many investment that can bring profit with less risk.
Also, if i want to have fun, there's many choice to have fun besides gambling.
Good for you, stay away from gambling while you can because when you are hooked, there is no turning back. You are right, there a lot of things, hobbies that can be done to enjoy life or be entertained aside from gambling. You don't have to confine your enjoyment to gambling.
4790  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: March 27, 2016, 02:18:18 PM
I think investing in ponzi could be profitable. I've tried it but of course you need a little tricks and strategies,
you have to look at various aspects such as the age of the site, the quality of JS site etc

ponzi sites are always scam. how can it be profitable? do you think that you can get ROI before the site close ? in my opinion it is better to avoid these kind of sites at all.
yeah its can be profitable dude. ponzi site will not shut down their site within one day or a few days, they will wait until collected a large amount. so join the one with the site is still new

That is a good idea but not advisable. You can never really tell when a ponzi will run away with your money. They can still be new but if they have enough even if they are new, they will close down and your money is gone. It is still best to keep your distance to those ponzi sites. Better do your job and search for legitimate investments that will surely give you profit long term.
4791  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: March 27, 2016, 02:13:34 PM
It's hard to live on money what you earing from begining with bitcoin. But need to wait a bit and if you will doing well it's real to live as full timer.

Well its really not enough what i earn right now with bitcoin and i cant quit my job, well if i can profit more then i will be able to do so.
The key is the amount of revenue generated from the bitcoin I'm sure if the income or salary is greater in bitcoin. I'm sure you'll think to get out of your work in a real job and switch to bitcoin.

Even though, a stable job is too valuable to be exchange to something that is still unstable and very young. And why quit if you can do both. You only work for 8 hours, there is still plenty of time to do bitcoin even if you keep your day job. Why sacrifice one if you can keep them both.
4792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: March 27, 2016, 02:09:00 PM
Gambling is not that bad. It is your own choice to gamble, and of course it is a bad choice to do that. But we do it for fun.
And that is good, but for some people see gambling as a fast earning, and that is not good. I hope later that there will be more people will realize that gambling is bad to do.

I dont understand why people keep saying that earning through gambling is bad and wrong? I dont find any particular reason that explain why gambling can't be part of your finance?
because in gambling you never always win, you can lose sometimes or maybe you can lose everthing you've in gambling. IMO, that's why i can think gambling is a part of my finance.
is just a pay for entertaining if you are just want to play to win you will lose everything, gambling is for fun not for living..
Yes, a number of rich people are playing at there because they want to get some entertainment from there while poor people consider that it might be a source of their earnings and so start with there.

There's the difference. If you are rich, you can afford to lose. You will still have money to sustain you even if you lose hundreds of thousands. In contrast, the poor does not have that luxury. If they lose, they may not eat for a day or two. You cannot rely on gambling as a source of income because you cannot rely on luck to feed you. This is a sickness that the poor should get away from .
4793  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: March 27, 2016, 05:57:23 AM
If you plan to live from BTC trading you must know all the risks included. Then you must learn alot about trading and platforms(bots , exchanges , services). And you must invest a lot of money, and you must stay tuned all the time because you can loose even more.
I thought for a trading job. does not require a long time. You can also do other work. because you did not at any time at the market. right? You can give an alarm when your order has been filled

Back in the day when price was soaring high, one could earn a bunch with no actual risk, just by arbing between exchanges (mostly with altcoins)
There's no such thing as safe trading if you are daytrading or guessing the price each time round imho.
Just minimize the risk and avoid risky trades to maximize profits. Even now, you can still profit from trading but minimal. If you do good in trading it can be a steady source of income and can be done to earn a living.
4794  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: March 27, 2016, 05:25:32 AM
My plan is easy and also hard way. I get some bitcoin and use them in gamble then babamm I will get rich by using bitcoin.

I think that is not a  plan but an illusion. You can keep on dreaming but that won't come true. Do you really think you can be rich that easy? There should be a lot of millionare gamblers if your way would work, but it's not.
4795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: March 26, 2016, 02:50:46 PM
if you are just trading randomly and not sure of what you are doing then yes, Trading stocks and currencies "forex" can be easily gambling if you are not doing it on clear analysis.

Yeah, people thinks trading is just throwing your bitcoins into short or long and go for hail mary. They treat trading as gambling with 50/50 chance of winning. But if they just go into analysis and read chart or watch news, they can easily predict where the price of a certain commodities will go. And trading is not a gamble anymore because you have a clear insight and more probable to succeed than lose.
4796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: March 26, 2016, 02:42:06 PM
i just wrecked by a casino , yesterday lost $250 in single roll .
so my answer for now gamble wrecked my life.
Lol You just lost $ 250 dude. it was quite small. except if you lose in repeatedly and you have a lot of debt because of gambling. maybe it will ruin your life

Losing that kind of amount daily will really bring you down in life, and that amount if pretty high to lose for some people.
yhea for other people that  lost $250 in single roll its like when you crushed by stone from the top and make you dropped for a period
I will not be able to sleep if i lost that amount in gambling

250$ is a lot of money here in my country so losing that kind of amount would really wreck my life.

Same here. In my country, it is even greater than the minimum monthly pay. So that amount can already feed a family here. It is just sad that you can afford to lose that amount in gambling where others would survive with a fraction of that amount.
4797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: March 26, 2016, 02:32:32 PM
I would do some sports betting but with very low amounts.
Most of the rich people lost their money on gambling.

Yeah, especially if they do not control the amount they gamblE. They have the feeling that they are secure because they have a lot of money, but if they gamble a lot, that money will be gone. Even if you are rich, you still must have control over what you spent. If you lose more than you earn, there will be a time when you are back to nothing and you'll be sorry but it's too late.
4798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: March 26, 2016, 07:13:48 AM
My strategy to stay away from gambling is keep promising yourself to stay away from gambling. Like me, because i need money for my school, so i stop gambling and i only gambling if someone do giveaway on gamblingg sites.

You have a strong will I think.. That is a good wayto make yourself focus on what matters and good for your future..you will not be addicted to gambling that way, but I think it will be boring.. but you'll get used to it for sure..

I agree with this. Focusing on something that is important can get you away from gambling. This is a good strategy. Coupled with a little bit of discipline, I am sure you will be succesful in getting away from gambling.
4799  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: March 26, 2016, 07:03:45 AM
My plan to get rich is :
Trade at Altcoin, save some amount per week, then after reach 50btc, i will resign of my realjob and go full time on bitcoin.

How does quitting a job help in becoming rich? Is 50btc really enough to keep you going on bitcoin without any other job? I don't think I can do that. It will be very problematic if I fail on bitcoin. I will not have any backup plan if I follow that. Keeping a day job is good. This keeps you afloat if things with bitcoin did not do well.
4800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: March 26, 2016, 06:56:42 AM
If i am rich i am going to gamble more often and bugger stakes, for me gambling is so much fun, but i realize that gambling is so dangerous when i dont know to stop, so i usually limit my bet, but if i am rich i wont hold my bet anymore

That is a good way to bankrupt yourself. You are just rich but your money is not infinite. If you don't limit what you gamble, sooner or later your riches will runout. Rich or not, it is still best practice to limit your bet. You cannot never be too safe in gambling.
