Oh no ..... The last I heard for batch 4 was November-December... This is the first time I heard January. That would make it 7 months.  I guess I have to wait.
No they did not say about January, this is my assumption. They say about December now, but I won't be surprised if it turns out to be January.  And you are saying about 7 month.. - but as far as i remember last token batches were planned to be release after Sep,15th.  So even in January it will be only 4 months delay.

Regarding expected deployment time their people say:  "Unfortunately there are a lot of things not under GW control. Government inspections, delays of delivery power equipment and transformers due to hurricane, force major, etc.  Due to this, GW can’t give you REAL time. Only estimated."

1. Gigs-Watt is not reliable
2. They make false promises
3. They have a terrible customer service
Many of us will not make a cent because of the lies of gigawatt, let's save others

Before some fanboy defends them: gigawatt took a lot of money and did not deliver. On their mane internet page even after the known delays,  they lied and ignored us. Time for payback. Because customers are always right! Censoring  people on Telegram, claiming you believe in crypto and what it stands for shame on you!!!
What tokens batch you are?  And what batch of miners did you buy?

True they have delays, but this is definetely not scam.   We can see that it was american authorities who put unforseen requirements for UL certificate on PSUs, that is why they couldn't use Bitmains PSUs as previously planned, and has to look in China for another PSUs.

They are deploying batch 1 and 2 miners now, and plan to deploy the rest in December (i think this maybe Dec-January).

And yes, they should have a better support.

6 -six!-, sweet!  Hey, let's say I run a pandaminer that brings in about $12/day after hosting discount. Could you please tell me what an S9 or L3 miner may bring in/day?

TIA,
pop
not too much Smiley pity i am not a Rockfeller and can't deploy 1000 miners Smiley

with s9 and l3 you'll be making $400-500 a month per each.

Anybody can recommend "UL certified" power supply for Antminers?

parallelminer.com
Thank you for info!  They seem to have a wide choice of PSUs, of good prices.

Do you know if they are UL certified?

This is because of the recent Onix huge price increase:

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/onix/

Maybe this is a pump,  and If price drops, profit will drop as well.

EVGA's are good but expensive as Hell. You can find Antminer APW3+++ for $200.00 on amazon sometimes.
yeah, evga's are too expensive...       APW3++ are not UL certified in US.   I need a UL certified for some reason  Wink  - but not so expensive as EVGA.

Really so do you think these PSU's from bitmain arent safe? I'd like to know if I have a potential firehazard....
No, i don't think so, as bitmain's PSUs have been working for quite a lond time, and nobody complained.   They are just not certified in US by UL(Underwriters Laboratories), and my hosting provider requests that PSU has to be certified  Angry

Check guys whether you use the VPN added in your browser or computer when you attempted to login to your wallet and they if you prevent yourself you to login with the exact URL instead of surfing about in Google results.
You will be able to get the more security with the two factor authentication in your transaction only also enough to secure your wallet from hackers. No need to do the big effort from you by going with antivirus or more.
I don't use vpn,  also I always login into a bookmarked  https://blockchain.info/wallet  , and also I use 2FA, and also from Linux (wich is more protected from viruses  than Windows).    So I hope they won't hack me  Cheesy

492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon A5 DashMaster 30.2G 750W on: November 18, 2017, 05:07:30 PM

why not just buy an Antminer S9? It would likely be just as profitable for around the same price, and it's at the top of it's game for efficiency. There is less of a chance that there will be another Bitcoin miner released within the next year that would make the S9 obsolete. I can't say the same for the L3+, A4+, or Dash miners for that matter.

I also believe that mining good old fashioned Bitcoin with an S9 would be the most profitable out of all of the ASIC options mentioned above unfortunately.
You seem to be correct. I am currently considering to order a few new miners, and incline to S9 - because of the current good return, and in particular because BTC price will most ikely to continuously rise in future (with some drops of course)  than other coins (to my opinion).

But after D3 disaster (which i thoughtlessly bought a few units), I am too afraid that some company would invent much more efficient miner than S9, and same scenario repeats as with D3.     Why do you think this won't happen with s9 in near future, or within a year at least?
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon A5 DashMaster 30.2G 750W on: November 18, 2017, 03:40:30 PM

Innosilicon is releasing what I believe is the worlds most efficient Litecoin miner soon (Pfft soon... hahah) called the A4+.. so I would personally stay out of LiteCoin for a while because the network difficulty is now due for another major increase.
Checked A4+ and see that it's ROI is 177 days, wich is worse than L3 (111 days)  -    this is because it's price is 2 time more than L3,  but hashrate is only 1.23 time more.

Regarding staying away, I think this is not the same as with Dash, because hashrate with A4+ increases insigificantly compared with currently available miners.  But with D3 situation was conpletely different - it's productivity was hunred times more than other miners when it appeared.

But can you confirm that you bought Gigawatt's miners and that they are mining?

yes

496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining NEO coin on: November 18, 2017, 03:07:03 PM
for 2 days NEO rose from $29 to $46.  Why is it so?   Do those who keep them requested gas or because of another reason?
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon A5 DashMaster 30.2G 750W on: November 18, 2017, 01:24:38 PM
.

Again, if the price is what is going to save you then you need to understand that it would still be more profitable to buy dash rather than mine Dash. I can see that you are having trouble grasping that concept.

Do you think mining Bitcoin with s9 or Litcoin with L3 also make no sence?  Is it better just to buy them and hold?

I have a few miners working, and bringing a decent amount of money.

At Gigawatt in one of the finished pods? Is it possible to show a screenshot of how the online dashboard looks when miners are running?

This is a finished pod, but no miners inside I think yet.  They have a few pods with miners already running.    I won't post my screen shot  Wink  but here is someone elses'   who just started to mine a few hours.  It's not complete in this picture, because for the first day it collects statistics, and not all figures are displayed here.

Can bitcoin drop to $3000?
I think best possibility was last week price drop, when China boys were attempting to defeat Bitcoin with their invented Bitcoin_Cash pump.
