Don't open Atomic wallet, or at least don't open it on device that is connected with internet. You should export your keys offline and import them to another Neo wallet, than you should sell that shitcoin for Bitcoin... I mean that is what I would do in your shoes.  Thanks for all these explanations, I'm going to start looking for the keys that I must have written down in a notebook somewhere ... It's not easy to manage everything like a wonder woman, which unfortunately I'm not (too bad because I like the magic lasso). |

You can manipulate a wallet.dat file (wallet file of Bitcoin Core) in such a way that you can load it in Bitcoin Core and it looks like the wallet file controls some arbitrary amount of Bitcoins where in fact there are no private keys to move those coins in such a fake wallet.dat file. (I don't know exactly the details, but as far as I understand it, you can replace or implant public keys of existing UTXOs into such a fake wallet.dat so that it appears that those coins are "in the wallet.dat" (yes, we know coins are only in the blockchain; it's just an expression)). Scammers sell such fake wallet.dat files to gullible buyers. Usually those wallet.dat files are sold as wallets where the owner lost the wallet encryption passphrase. An encrypted wallet.dat file has only sensible data like the private keys encrypted and can still be loaded in Bitcoin Core. The buyer can still rescan the wallet and Bitcoin Core will show some coin amount, but as there are no corresponding private keys for those coins in the file, the wallet is basically worthless or worse than that. The buyer is tricked to spend time, efford and energy to crack the encryption first before he realizes that he was scammed. But it's totally Machiavellian  |

Sparrow wallet is for advanced users with more features for privacy. The installation of Sparrow wallet takes more steps than Electrum wallet, more complicated. If you couldn't install Electrum wallet, I doubt that you can install Sparrow wallet.
I think I have a really complicated brain, I found sparrow easier than electrum.... So to sum up: - It's possible that the 12 words of atomic wallet can't be used on a Neon wallet. - I need gas, but I'm not sure where to buy it. Thank you very much for your help and your links. I understood that Trustwallet is closed source, so it's not great. Atomic wallet has just been hacked. Ledger offers a recovery service that raises questions.

As little as I've learnt since I join this forum, I still believe the best means of securing our assets or wallet is by using hard wallet and avoid interacting with decentralized apps we do not completely trust in order not to get out wallets or recovery phrases compromised. Thank you but I didn't ask how to secure the keys. If you are using the right crypto wallet Ok which wallets for example ?
When the wallet is safe, it is our duty as users to secure the key properly. there are many methods that can be applied to secure wallet keys. Each method has a different level of difficulty and security. I usually use a stainless steel plate ring to record the key and store it in a safe place in my opinion. I also save in digital form but with good protection and rarely connected to the internet. having backup storage is also necessary.

Le problème était que le bitcoin était quelque chose de nouveau à l'époque, c'était un nouvel investissement à haut risque et il diffère de maintenant que le bitcoin est devenu plus fiable.
Maintenant, le prix est supérieur à 28k et beaucoup pensent que c'est un prix exagéré, et la prochaine génération viendra peut-être nous dire à quel point nous avons été stupides quand nous n'avons pas acheté à un prix aussi bas, tout comme c'est le cas avec 200 dollars.
C'est certain. Tout ceux qui font du DCA sans se soucier des cours ont un bag bien plus important aujourd'hui que n'importe quel détenteur de livrets ou d'actions (sur la même période). il faudra plusieurs générations encore avant que les gens ne se rendent compte de l'importance du bitcoin, à ce moment-là quel prix aura-t-il atteint ? D'abord en Islam il y a de nombreux "savants" qui interprètent différemment les sourates, sans compter que le Coran n'était pas à l'origine en arabe "littéraire" donc de traductions en interprétations, c'est normal qu'il y ait désaccord parfois. Et donc tu ne peux pas tirez tes propres conclusions en vite fait comme ça. En outre il y a des sunnites, des chiites, des coranistes etc ... Chacun ayant une interprétation différente, on ne peut donc pas dire "puisque les Talibans interdisent les cryptos, alors c'est haram", ça n'a aucun sens. Il semblerait que cette classe d’actifs fasse débat au sein de la communauté musulmane, car certaines crypto-monnaies sont considérées comme haram, notamment les crypto-monnaies qui utilisent un processus de preuve d’enjeu (puisqu’elle crée des intérêts avec le staking), et d’autres comme halal, notamment celles reposant sur la preuve de travail.
Parfois, c’est tout le marché des crypto-monnaies qui est considéré comme haram, car beaucoup trop spéculatif par exemple, ou halal parce qu’il participe à l’inclusion financière et à l’économie réelle et qu’il utilise la blockchain pour davantage de sécurités et de transparence. D'une manière générale, les règles qui doivent être appliquées par les Musulmans seraient de ne pas nuire aux autres ou à soi-même (d'où l'interdiction de l'alcool, des jeux d'argent etc ...) Si on prend la polygamie (aujourd'hui interdite en Tunisie par exemple), elle avait du sens autrefois (encore une fois c'est ce que j'en ai compris, peut-être que je me trompe). Les mecs à force de se battre (razzias et cie) avaient une espérance de vie moins importante que les femmes. Une veuve étant plus vulnérable qu'une femme mariée, alors il était préférable qu'elle ait un mari. Un homme pouvait donc se marier aussi avec une veuve beaucoup plus âgée, dans le seul but qu'elle ne reste pas veuve. Par ailleurs les règles de la polygamle étaient très strictes et toutes les épouses devaient avoir la même chose (en argent, vêtements etc ...). Tout le monde ne pouvait donc pas être polygame, car c'était une grosse charge de famille. Par conséquent alcool, jeux d'argent et cie qui pouvaient ruiner toute la famille étaient et sont interdits. Aujourd'hui la polygamie a perdu le sens initial et c'est plutôt j'ai des maîtresses officielles, voire même la CAF va entretenir ma grande famille sans que je n'ai besoin de bosser. Donc à l'origine il y avait du sens à certaines sourates et il faut voir ça comme des règles sociales : ne pas se marier avec une athée est logique aussi. Si la mère ne transmet pas la religion, il y a risque de manque de cohésion dans la société qu'on veut musulmane. Mais au final, combien sont les Musulmans qui ont lu le Coran en entier et qui ont compris les messages ? Ils font juste ce qu'ils ont appris de leurs parents / famille comme une tradition. Mais même certains Musulmans remettent en question la circoncision alors que d'autres comme en Egypte pratiquent encore l'excision. Tout est question d'interprétation : donc si on ne considère pas le BTc comme un actif dangereux, c'est halal. Si on se fait du pognon en hodlant, c'est halal. mais si on en prête à quelqu'un à un taux d'usure de 30% et qui va en plus faire du business de Vodka alors là c'est doublement haram. Enfin ce ce que j'ai compris. |

You tried to remove them, but you couldn't. Did they restrict you from removing it from their wallet? Or maybe you don't have access to the wallet again, or maybe your wallet is a watch-only wallet, or the NEOs are actually so small that they can't be withdrawn. If you still have access to your wallet, i.e., if you have full control over it, there is still a possibility of recovering everything you have on that wallet. You just have to use your phrase or private key to import it into another supported wallet and move your funds to a safer place. Not all phrases import the same wallet into another. I mean, you might use your saved private key to try importing it into another wallet, but what you might get is a completely different wallet. You can consider swapping your NEOs for BTC only after you have successfully moved them out of the wallet. Thank you for your answer.
