You are welcome to do whatever you want to do...  We are all adult here but please be reasonable.  You are FREE to retract your bids.

I'm sure the OP obtained the discount by managing the whole sales portion to reduce the workload of Bitmain.
482  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OFFICIAL FIRST GROUP BUY] BitMain Antminer S1 - 30 units on: November 29, 2013, 12:55:13 AM
You are not kicked from the line.  That will only happen after the payment deadline passes.  Yes I'm very aware of that painful event.  Please, this is the group buy as it was setup by the OP and for some reason or another, it got transferred to me in a short notice.

Just like the initial OP mentioned, I'm open to suggestions but if you don't feel comfortable, I have nothing against you if you chose to cancel your bid, but let's not sabotage the whole group buy.  There are others who wants to take this opportunities.  I understand you are one of the long standing members here but I can't cater for individual need/want to modify the term.  As I mentioned from the beginning, due to the sudden announcement, there is no penalty or nothing to lose for you to retract your bid if you feel necessary.

Let's keep the good HOLIDAY SPIRITS for now!  Cheesy

483  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OFFICIAL FIRST GROUP BUY] BitMain Antminer S1 - 30 units on: November 29, 2013, 12:05:50 AM
Escrow  wise, I'm happy to use JohnK or a few other trusted guys on the forum, however, this is a group buy, I can't cover 30 unites worth of BTC out of my pocket and then wait to get paid later.  on page 4, Bitmain did confirm they will commit 30 unites and I'm hear to try to finish up the group buy.  I'm sure OP was able to secure this pricing by promising all the sales duty associated with the group buy sale.

If you don't feel comfortable, you are welcome to retract your bid for 2 unites but I can't let you auction off the spots.  You can retract your bid up to the payment deadline that I will announce in the next 12 hours.  Initial deal was 36 hours from Bitmain confirms the group buy and they have done so already, and I have no plan to shorten that time frame.

Please do due diligence and decide if you want to remain or out.  There will be no hard feeling against you for opting out as things have changed since you placed your bid for 2 AntMiner.

Any question, please let me know

P.S.

Good thinking about monetize the reserved slots! I would probably thought the same if I were you...   Grin Grin Grin  But No, you can't sell the space.

Bitmain and Textplorer actually put some effort to get this started in the initial place, so let's we all keep positive attitude!  Think about it, without Textplorer's effort, this group buy would be here right now.

Guys & Gals,

Thank you for the support!  This is sure resource burners...  but I will keep it going!

For those of you on the waitlist, please wait for a bit longer to see what others on the Buy List want to do.

I will update  you how the payment will be handled.  Until then, Please DO NOT make any payment for this.  Bitcoin will be the only payment method, but let me verify all the details first.

If this is the only bump in the road, i'm staying Smiley

Wow, Exchange Rate went up that much!!!  YAY!!!!  I'm getting a bit richer for now...

China is just after Midnight now.  So, I will try to contact them in the morning and see what option we will have.  Also, I will wait for Texplorer as well.

Let me go check the exchange rate when the last auction was run at 4.75 BTC.

[UPDATED 2013/11/29 13:05:00]

Hi All & Textplorer,

Let's take a breath for now and have a beer for the night, then let's regroup in the morning!

Unexpected Delays are always associated with ASIC and Bitcoin World.  A few days is not that bad.

I will step up and help you with things that are need to take care of and manage the list.  I'll be off for the next 2 days and I will have some time on my hand  Cheesy

Mean while, let's check with all who hold 30 spots on the Group Buy.

Any one who wants out, Raise Hand (or PM me) and I will create a temporary list and check with you (Textplorer) when you wake up in the morning and also,  will do my best to contact Bitmain and see if we could keep this group buy alive for either 12/5 or 12/6 or 12/7 shipping date just to be safe.

This is just to gather interest info and viability of the Group Buy!

According to Bitmain, 30 unites are committed for this Group Buy

Price: 4.25 Bitcoin (same)
Shipping Date from China: as Early as 12/4 but as late as 12/7

(Next Saturday, but could ship early)[/color][/size]
This way, they won't get rushed and they will have enough time to run all the Burn-Test before boxing up the unit![/b]

Please State, Remain on the list or OUT.

To be fair to people who have already signed up, if someone in front of you decided out, your number will just move up and open up the bottom number.  Example #10 wanted out, #11 will take the place of #10 and #30 becomes free open slot.

Payment Address will be announced in 24 hours.

Thank you!

I would say let's offer to all who signed up to withdraw if they want to due to the 2 extra days of wait, I'm sure there are others who wouldn't mind waiting for a few extra days.

We all have our day jobs. If the schedule could create some problems, I will step up to assist you Texplorer!  Let's make the 1st GB a success  Cheesy

If I could import the barcode as image, then I could copy and paste but so far, not looking good...

I'm trying to print the wallet on the plastic ID Card from the ID Printer

Japanese Muro むろ crawl space...  It does look like a bomb.  Specially hidden in there!  But cool looking!   Grin

I put mine out of the way in the floor crawl space (very small 1 room Japanese apartment). Nice to have it somewhere cool and out of the way, and where I can't hear it. Showed it to my gf last night and she said it looks like a bomb!  Cheesy

is there any auto wallet card generator that will work with PVC ID Card Printer?

492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Printing Bitcoin Wallet from the ID Printer on: November 28, 2013, 02:11:55 PM
Hi,

Does anyone know any wallet code generator that work with the ID Printer?
493  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup Guide] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: November 28, 2013, 11:40:22 AM
That reset could be the solution as they did say, there is a way to reset but too complicated to do or understand.

494  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup Guide] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: November 28, 2013, 11:23:44 AM
i know but if the port was time to time accepting the traffic, i thought may be worth trying a few times
495  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup Guide] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: November 28, 2013, 11:01:12 AM
I don't have the source code for the AntMiner...

If the DHCP requests are coming from the Ethernet Line, can you keep trying to connect by changing your laptop IP to 192.168.1.XXX and on the same subnet and the gateway?

if not, try a few more times on the original WAN IP to see if you can connect from 192.168.2.XXX way.

496  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup Guide] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: November 28, 2013, 10:43:02 AM
Can you check to see if DHCP request was coming from the Ethernet or Wi-Fi or both?
497  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup Guide] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: November 28, 2013, 10:23:42 AM
Did you try direct Ethernet connection to your computer/laptop and try to SSH while Wi-Fi router turned off while you reconfiged your computer's IP to 192.168.1.XXX to talk to the Antminer?  if 1.XXX didn't work, did you try again with just in case 2.XXX IP on the computer?

If you can SSH into the box, you can adjust the config file manually

It does sounds like the conflict...  On this case teamviewer won't do any good.

One thing tough, can you Portforward those internal IP to your external IP and see, if any one of them will get  you through

AntMiner's control panel was i think it's on port 80

Hard Reset wise, I don't have the instruction.

One thing is if you set static on LAN for 192.168.XXX and then you set another Static on WAN for 192.168.XXX you brick the box I think.  I need to go double check.

498  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup Guide] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: November 28, 2013, 09:56:04 AM
Doesn't sound good...

If you let me remote in via TeamViewer, I can give it a shot...  May take a while to troubleshoot but I'm available for the next few hours.

PM me for the teamview ID.  (http://www.teamviewer.com)

Ouch, did you set the static IP on LAN???  Not on WAN???

What was your WAN setting?

Not off to a good start...

Changed IP config, mined on wifi for 5 mins while I set the IP address to a static address at 192.168.1.60 on the lan, applied settings and since then the system has been uncontactable. Occasionally my dhcp server sees it request an IP address but I can't talk to it and then it disappears again from that IP address. Tried removing wifi aerial and powering it down and up, tried removing lan cable and powering it down and up, tried setting static addresses across all 192.168.1.x and 192.168.2.x and still can't talk to it anywhere. Plugged directly into it with a laptop, plugged it into a router, did everything I could think of to talk to it and can't seem to.

Anyone know how to reset it somehow back to defaults? Only button on the board has a meaningless "S1" label.

What is the wait time for this?  I mean the delivery date?

If it was April or May of next year, 1TH for 1.5 BTC may not be a good deal...  On the other hand, if you'll get this by end of the year, sure it has some good return for taking the risk.

I'm guessing, it's not taped out yet, so end of December is not likely

To clarify, this is just for the CHIPS right, doesn't come with the PCB and the controls?

If that's the case, there will be about 40 PCBs need to be purchased or go into another option buy + assembly

Who will get the bullet run CHIPs?Huh -  (Most Profitable Ones in this deal)

But the BIG THING right now is to VERIFY your account was not compromised and you are the same person from the original plan post
