I hope they will do the demo, but, it's not looking good.  I'm keep calling them for over a week and I can't get anyone to answer through out the day and early evening.

Voicemail message changed from actual human to the default cheap machine voice...

Waiting on the live stream and see what we get to see!

Yes, that's why our review only inform you that the company does exist, but the buyer needs to do his/her own diligence before committing to the pre-orders.

Depends on where you are located in the world, Pre-Order could be seen as a method of investment.  We as the buyer knew at the time we place the order, the company didn't have the item and for a while in the near future as the product is under development.  ASIC world, there are so many things that could go wrong. Some would recover from those shock and some go belly up.  It's a risk you take, when you sign up for the pre-orders. (Never invest money you can't afford to lose!)

Yes, we came across another company that they actually existed, but one of them we have to say, "Contact Local Law Enforcement before placing any orders to research any fraud reports or validated loss."

But Remember, they could be sued but in a bit different rules than US or EU area...  Hong Kong's own governing government but still influenced by China.

Guys, Relax!

I was in Hong Kong last week.  Cab Ride wasn't cheap  Angry  At least for now, all we can say is, "This Company EXIST!"  Right now, I don't have any juicy stuffs like BitMain's AntMiner but once I get more details, I might be able to say, "Get Ready TO BUY"

Until Then, this is our review opinion at this time...

"This Company EXIST!  DO YOUR DILIGENCE BEFORE PLACING THE ORDER!"

They do have English Speaking Reception Lady there, too.

This doesn't prove they are not scammers. They company could exists today, grab all the bticoins and disappear tomorrow. It happened before.

Hey guys, please let me know what method of communications do you prefer for the initial tech support to get your miner up and running?

E-mail, Skype or Line smartphone apps for communications would do for you?  The configuration side will be provided via TeamViewer.  If you have account for the Gotomeeting, I'm okay with that, too.

Here I am!   Grin Grin Grin

For the lucky buyers, I will provide you guys with the tech support when you receive the miners.  If you get stuck at the setup, contact me and I'll be available for you guys for the extended hours.  Just PM me if you see me online.  I understand everyone will be in the different time zone, so, I'll do my best!  If you are not sure about something, just ask before you BRICK the miner!

I will provide step-by-step support via TeamViewer (http://www.teamviewer.com) or if you know how to port forward your AntMiner, that will work as well!

When you get the tracking#, Please let me know when you want me online. So I can do my best to cater all of you guys in the different timezone.

I will try to finish the Youtube Video of the Setup Guide.  I'll let you know once it's done.

Now waiting on Bitmain to confirm this is their official group buy
516  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Mining with no money limit, which hardware? on: November 27, 2013, 02:17:56 PM
If you need to buy miners right away, there is the in-stock sale...

Just got the word that Bitmain AntMiner is going to have the 3rd round of sale but this time it's a group buy setting.  Price came down a little bit.  Auction was 4.75 BTC but the Group Buy is 4.25 BTC to include the International Shipping.

It looks like this is the manufacture backed Group Buy.

Do I need laptop to running mining on antminer, or I just need to use my laptop to configure pools  ?

AntMiner is a self contained miner, however, you need a laptop or a computer to configure via Ethernet Cable connection

Can I use raspberry pi ?
Hummm  Let me check... AntMiner is a self contained stand-alone miner

My router is 192.168.1.1
my laptop is 192.168.1.5
my raspberry pi is 192.168.1.7
my asic cube is 192.168.1.9
my asic blade is 192.168.1.10

Can anybody one more time explain to me how to do it step by step, I am confused Sad.
Kind Regards

Look at your AntMiner's fan.  There should be a white sticker with 192.168.2.XXXX

Connect your AntMiner to your Laptop via Ethernet Cable

Change your Laptop's Network Setting (IP, SUbnet, Gateway)

IP: 192.168.2.254
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.2.1

Then, open the web browser and go to 192.168.2.XXX

You'll see the control panel login screen.  Username: root   Password: root

Go to the System Tab, then go to the Miner Configuration.  Enter your mining pool info. (mining server address, worker name and worker password)  Then hit SAVE&Apply

Go to the Network Tab,

Go to the LAN Page, your miner should be configured to be "DHCP Client", if so, Move on to Next

If it's set to Static IP, then Change it to "DHCP Client" then hit Change Protocol, Then, hit Save&Apply button at the bottom

Then Go to WAN Page.  Set it as Static IP

IP: 192.168.1.11
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
DNS: use what you use for the current network or 8.8.8.8

Hit Save&Apply

change your Laptop's IP address to what it used to be.

Disconnect the Ethernet Cable from the Laptop and connect it to the Internet Router

In 45 seconds to 1 minute, your AntMiner will start mining on it's own.

P.S. The green LEDs the blade will start flashing, then the fan will start to spin, and the miner will start to get warmer.
