Anyways back to topic. I do believe the commercial adoption and marketing of the coin is very important and something lacking. I am sure Jared has a plan and do believe the investment of 250K is real and valid. No doubt there. I was speaking about this to a colleague of mine. If you have the best burger in town and believe it can take significant market share, but nobody knows about it, how will you accomplish that? You won't. There are many great products and services out there that die due to high burn rate and not enough customer adoption.
The flip side of the coin is McDonalds. It clearly doesn't have the most healthiest and best burger, but people keep buying! WHY? Convenience, ease, location, marketing!
Need to apply this to DGB and make a stand. Too many global events going on to really push DGB to the forefront. Just need to think how can we do that with mainstream versus the smaller digital currency community.

+1 i fully agree. Digibyte needs to be marketed out. First Step. And then, its all down to ease of use, convenience and location (accessibility and places to spend it). The Digibyte Team is tackling all of that right now. DigiSpeed, Marketing, DigibyteGaming Wallet, etc. If you ask me, they could use some additional manpower considering the amount of work they need to do. Otherwise, we can only give them time and try our best to be patient and do our part as a DGB community. If Jared can't keep us updated every week or 2, i hope he can at least keep in touch with those well known members of DGB. like haliyno and 24hralttrade. they can spend time reading and commenting on the forum while Jared can cater all his time to the development and work for Digibyte. lots of work to be done since Digibyte is aiming for the number one spot. Most of the core aspects of Digibyte were in the works last year and its still being work on to further improve it to keep up with the competition BUT mainly to be ready for global use. most of the new stuff we see this year were probably started on around the beginning of this year. We can do our part as a community. And that is to create a lot of good noise for DGB. a lot of demand from other services to adopt DGB. so when DGB is ready to be fully launched, there's going to be a lot of services that we can use DGB for. Over the past 2 months (May and June), i have witnessed that several services have begun to adopt DGB thanks to the community itself. And it is still not enough. Whether its Twitter, Facebook or any other social media, spread the word and keep hashtagging. keep the DGB Activity alive. the more it appears, the better. if you need to hashtag some weird tags, go ahead. people will be thinking "what is this 'Digibyte' thing doing here!?". Chances are, they are going to check it out. Even if they don't, we have at least succeeded in making them KNOW about something called Digibyte. After that, all it takes is just one more incident of DGB appearing in their lives like maybe one of their friends suddenly talks about Digibyte and BAM! It will stir their curiosity the hell out until they find out more about Digibyte. we all know Jared is heading in the right direction. its just gonna be a slightly longer journey than some of us had expected. Speaks the truth, 50% a year on a large amount of coins can be a nice income surge.
But 50% annually is only for 1.5M DMD (see OP). Then PoS is 25% and 2.5% when there will be 2.5M DMD and 1% for 3.5M DMD and more. It doesn't sound so good. its not a bad idea if say things go really smooth for the rest of 2015. already 1000 DMD generate over 40 DMD in a month. cryptovpn bought quite alot and it will fetch in about 1000+ DMD/month if you factor in the price rise and i strongly believe the chinese market will join in soon in probably a month or 2 or less if someone really gets the job done, then its going to be a very very good coin catch. if you know chinese market well enough, its insane what they can do. |

correct...as long as you have more than 100 DMD. below 100 DMD will be 30 days. Honestly I hope that this opened a lot of people's eyes because on April 17th I tweeted that DMD was a fucking outrageous steal at 50k a coin and people didn't believe me and look where it's going to be headed now!!! Once more people realize the potential behind DMD and the hard work that has been put into this coin it will definitely easily be a top 5 coin!! It damn well should be already!! It's such a great coin with an amazing community and hard working team behind it! It definitely should be associated in the same class as coins like DASH and LTC price ranges for sure +1 on the price that DMD should be at (0.01). That would be us. we bought over 28,000 worth of coins since we do believe this coin will be very profitable.  ohhh.....so the very most 3 DMD got sold at 0.1. nice Yes we did, our company has been looking at the coin for a while now. Well the trade went up 120btc in less then an hour and they bought up to 0.1 someone knows something we don't. unfortunately...i can only see Market Trade History up till 10:48:29AM. the 0.1 trade supposingly was at around 10:00:00AM? Ya it happened not even an hour ago mate oh right....i can now see better from the charts after it just refreshed. so around 10:30:00AM, the 0.1 trade happened. i wonder how much DMD was bought for that price. |

Translation Getgems in China can not be downloaded because google play is blocked , we need to have another way to download . Don't know how the process goes, but obviously you need to know Chinese or maybe a company in the west that helps in submitting western app to chinese app stores. this can be tricky. because the getgems invitation feature requires the use of GooglePlay and iOS Store. Of course, they can manually do it themselves by manually downloading the vpk file to install and then telling their friends to make sure to fill in exactly who invited them. i suggest for now the quickest solution would be to provide a download link for the app file for both Android and iOS. so that they can manually install it. just a temp solution. |

Great work, but is the extreme data (and battery btw) usage of the Gems application already solved?
Please download the latest version and update if you are still experiencing a problem. Also note that we added the "Automatic media download" section in Android setting so you can configure your data usage. cool! didn't noticed that. just configured that setting to my preferred setting. that helped to clear one of my worries too.  Is getgems the only multifunctional app in de crypto space? I don't think there is an app combining an instant messenger, reward model, sending money and shopping in a functional app, is getgems the only 'all in one' app?
by 'app', i guess yes. haven't come across any like it so far. |

Check this out guys, doesn't it look amazing? ui/ux may still change a bit.   Absolutely brilliant! We are working on closing the loop, invite friends —> earn gems —> spend gems. This looks fantastic! GetGems has a bright future. This is what other Cryptos are dreaming of, but i haven't seen one succeeding. GG is the first that is on its way to become the first rightful holder to achieve this.

Thanks shveicar and cryptonit for your helpful answers. i forgot to ask one more question: if i am to withdraw 1 DMD from the pile/stack of 100 DMD, will the age of the 99 DMD remaining in the desktop wallet reset?
easy way to understand how it works is think its a real wallet and everytime u have to touch a banknote/coin because it get broken in smaller parts u lose all coin age on everything involved if u example have 100$ bankniteand pay for something 20$ u have to touch it and u get a chsnge of 80$ back which now start with untouched age in ur wallet from zero again no materhiw long the100$ notewas in wallet before in other words, before withdrawing/depositing any diamondcoins into the wallet and after coins age has reached at least 30 days, it would be in our best interest to mint first? And if i want to regularly withdraw/deposit, it would be best to do it every 30 days? |
