Can someone help? I am having a few issues. I have like 600k coins in a bitbay QT wallet from 2014. I have the new wallet downloaded as well. The old wallet no longer syncs and I tried to send from there to new addy but it just hangs at zero confirm. New to the multi-sig and more complex rec. process so just wondering how I recoup my bitbay
Yeah if you see at the site, there is two wallets. There is the standard QT wallet that is not multisig. For that one, like 3r said back up your wallet and use it with the new QT wallet. And then there is the markets wallet which is multisig so its not compatable with your old wallet.dat and you would have to send coins to whatever address you generate there. It sounds like you only need to use the new QT wallet and copy your wallet over. Let me know if you need any help. Hi, David! Our coins in old wallet.dat files still safe? And how much longer will operate standard QT walets support (with 2 versions of wallets)? Yes those coins are safe, however it makes sense to use the newer build of the QT which will synchronize. The QT wallet will be abandoned after the pegging so you have lots of time. Currently I'm working on making the software fully commercial. So that means you can use more than the basic custom template (all templates fully functional) and all the other user friendly features. The new build i have right now is extremely fast and stable. Thanks for supporting old holders! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Guys I have a chunk of hbn that I need to quickly break down into smaller chunks. Ive read about a console command on hobo.wiki called sendmany , but I dont understand what it means. It talks about minfonf= and I dont know what that means either. Can someone write a realworld example of either using sendmany to break lets say 100,000 hbn into chunks of 5,000 to same address (self) , or I can create another address and send it to that, doesnt matter. Im a good tipper. Thanks in advance. Please be detailed , with actual examples, and leave either cap or hbn address. Or if you know of a VERY fast way to do it, another way, thats good too. Is sendmany the correct/fastest way?
Thanks

To split coin blocks, you need to enable the coin control features (wallet > settings > options > display > display coin control features). Then select one block at a time and send it to yourself, adding your (same) address as the 'custom change address'. Let's say you start by selecting a 100000 HBN block. You then send to yourself a transaction of 50000 HBN, but specifying the change address as your own as well. Once you hit "Send", you will be splitting that 100000 HBN block into 2x 50000: a primary transaction plus change, back to your original address. Just keep sending them to yourself and splitting the chunks of coins in half. Since the change address is the same, you'll end up with 2 blocks of coins every time. It isn't as time consuming as it sounds. You can go from 2 to 4, from 4 to 8, from 8 to 16 so on blocks of coins pretty quickly. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) A single address can hold all of your blocks/inputs. There is absolutely no advantage to holding the split coins in multiple addresses. HBN: EwUHNw5nrwrfvdTyFJnmxZjBawQUMgkbrg Happy Staking! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) You misunderstood. Lets say I had 100,000 hbn and quickly wanted to break them all into 5000 coin blocks with 1 command. I understood you correctly. But this function is called SplitBlock and as far as I know, only HyperStake and TruckCoin has this feature. According to the method, which I have described, you only need to click "Send" button 15 times to split 100000HBN into blocks of 6250HBN. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

We are working on Asiacoin source code improvements we have ready to launch system alerts included into a wallet would like to submit for discussion another important topic maximum stake ageas we know, maximum stake age had been coded as 10 years in April, 2014 it has passed without changes in Micryon source code now it stays at https://github.com/AsiaCoin/AsiaCoinFix/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L51in April, 2014 ( fourteen months ago - an eternity in crypto ) nobody was asking any question about ratio of minimum stake age 2 weeks to maximum stake age around 520 weeks ( ratio 1:365 ) nowadays, it is absolutely certain that such an ratio is an absurd Where da fuck did you read that? whole idea of POS is to suppport a coin network by staking. accepting 10 years max stake age does not support Asiacoin network at all and it is very bad for Asiacoin network security nowadays it is widely accepted that this ratio : minimum stake age to maximum stake age should be anywhere between 2 to 10 for network security, and optimum ratio should be 3 to 4 . - What?? who agreed that?? when?? changing maximum stake age involves a hard fork of Asiacoin as to community acceptation of limiting max stake age : we can with big probability assume that staking majority ( around 80% of Asiacoin holders are staking more or less regularly - visible in explorer ) will support limiting max stake age, and not-staking sleeping minority of around 20% would be not satisfied with this change - What kind of propaganda is this?? why you ask for opinion while you said what my opinion should be ?? we would like to ask all holders of Asiacoin to comment here and submit ideas as to proposed option of limiting max stake age by a hard forkwe would suggest optimum max stake age as four times minimum stake age that is 8 weeks. Still reasonable would be six times minimum stake age that is 12 weeks. The whole idea you propose is absurd. More people staking when you reduce the max staking age?? Maybe what should be proposed is a reduction of the min staking age!!!! in your text a lot of shouting but no single piece of information could you provide any data as : -do you know with other coins how much is the ratio minimum stake age to maximum stake age -your proposal : how much smaller minimum stake age should be? most likely, you follow closely a lot of different coins so this answer will be easy list of minimum stake age / maximum stake age for high stake coinsnumbers as */* = min stake age/max stake age Battlecoin (BCX) – 50% per year + 10 day minimum stake age /20 day maximum stake age Tekcoin (TEK) – 500% 30/90 Bottlecaps (CAP) – 100% 30/90 Diamond (DMD) 50% 7/30 HoboNickels (HBN) - 100% 10/30 Mintcoin (MINT) – 20% 20/40 Novacoin (NVC) - 100% 30/90 Philosopherstone (PHS) – 50% 5/10 will add more hi-stake coins to this list anybody knows high stake coins ( over 20% per year POS ) - please add to this list ! " I have an idea for Horizon HZ that I think is interesting, this is not approved or official, and maybe everyone will love it or hate it, this is just an idea I want to bring to everyone to see what they think of it. The idea is a weekly 1 million Horizon Distribution, or "Lottery," based on the Rich List, or the top 100 holders. (Excluding Blocknet obviously or any Bounty distribution account - just individuals that hold Horizon in the top 100) Each week there would be some provably fair drawing for 1 million Horizon, there might not be the means to fund it, but I think a live video of real lottery balls being mixed up and drawn out would be the most fun. (Harder to prove fair, or would that be easier?) Short of that, some cryptographic provably fair method that is 100% trusted. Ideally with at least some sort of fun visuals that people could tune in and watch. In my opinion this would give incentive for people to want to be in the top 100 holders, part of the top 100 rich list. As we are a small community and low priced coin/platform, this is pretty easy to do at this point. Technically this should be very easy to be certain of the top 100 people. Maybe this would incentivize people to buy more to stay in the top 100, get in the top 100, especially on the lower end to get into the top 100. (More demand, and more fun?!) Four winners a month is a lot, and those people would likely be very loyal to Horizon once they had a big giveaway like that. Word of mouth could get around. My idea was that this is taken out of the monthly bounties. I have not asked Nick Cote or anyone on the team about it, but I am sure sending it to four addresses a month would not be a difficult task. Now, if previous winners should be excluded or not, I am not sure, or if team members should not be included, not sure, but perhaps everyone should be incentivized to want to stay or get in the top 100? What does everything think, great idea, terrible? Thoughts? "
What about this idea? It was a very good idea.

When will the the 6th giveaway be?
From what I can read here, the dev team probably just wants to hold the coins (80k) for an unknown long period of time. And even after that, they will still have 300k coins undistributed. So it will take years (at least) to complete the distribution with the current pace. That's not the case. That's when the last phase of this distribution ends. Which is to give early adopters a chance to be the first to hold PMP. This is phase one. Phase two will introduce an entirely new distribution model. One which won't be controlled by the dev team, and will be more automated. But more importantly, will introduce a model which will allow PMP to gain value, and this is how a currency that is given away can hold wealth. We can hold the final giveaway (80k) of phase one soon. Anyone who is part of phase one is still an early adopter, so nobody is losing out, regardless of when the giveaway takes place. You're still staking your coins, after all. Glad to hear some positive things going on here. I've bought some PMP and staking some really nice amount. Thanks and keep up the good work Nullu!
