Qora Gateway= Qora
Qora = Nxt Asset
The Qora gateway is intended to trade Qora. It's not about NXT, it's about trading Qora. Don't like it, don't use it. I'm disgusted by people who try to control the community based on some self-assumed "wealth". |

Please inform Busoni if/when qora can safely resume trading (without fork issues). @ community:Decide asap how to distribute polo's qora among those who lost: 1) determine who lost qora at sharex and how much (thread or spreadsheet) 2) distribute proportional to the number of available coins (inc bitcoins) Of course the problem is proving coins were on sharex but at least start with blockchain tx to sharex deposit address and a screenshot of the tx from your host wallet. The wider the distribution the greater chance exo has to succeed.
Yes but this does not need to happen at the very beginning. The key at the beginning is core developers committed to the coin's success. People will come and naturally distribution occur if the product is quality. If the product (client, blockchain, other technical aspects) sucks and faults are not overcome, distribution doesn't matter at all...the coin will fail. |

NXT has an advantage for wider adoption in that it hasn't received years of negative press that have formed bad image in the eyes of the public. Some people won't touch Bitcoin with a ten-foot pole now that the media performed their agenda. And here comes multi-featured NXT, all shiny and bright, with no negative stigma around it. Just like Dogecoin, by the way The one main downside NXT has in my eyes is the single ID for a person. You have to manage multiple ids/passwords if you want to try to obscure your identity and holdings at all. The other downside, which some list as a benefit, is that so much stuff is being pilled onto NXT that it might be confusing to some people to just use as a currency. Although, I think this can mostly be solved by having a "lite" wallet that hides the Forging, Aliases, AE, DSG, messaging etc, and only has Balance/Send/Receive stuff on it. Or at least hides all that stuff by default. was launched to tackle these NXT downsides: qora allows for multiple accounts in every seed and very simple client Just an honest response... |

Excellent job to all. Testnet is working well. Couple of issues: "polls" not working, shouldn't it be reomoved for now. Also, when I make a transaction, aliases work, but asset seems to remain pending without confirmation. Transaction tab continues to spin without loading. Peers tab also does not load. Are these issues side affects of testnet (maybe too few peers)? Cannot forge. PS - I set up asset to test so trade away and see how it goes. (if it loads) - asset id: 17496789892539265893Edit: assets appear not to load  Edit2: asset loaded - go buy it! Thanks for testing! Poll tab will not be available in live mode.
