Before today I have never tried to add a public note but I have been really trying today, so how the f&ck do you do that?  I went to custom send, did the custom send, added the damn note in the box that says "public note" and still no joy.  I even tried all three ways I know of to access the damn blockchain.info site (direcly through the site, using the old chrome plug in, and the new stand alone client).  I have tried.  What is the secret to getting those notes to appear?

I also tried but it didn't worked Sad

Seems like the hacker has just sent BurtW's tag through a mixer lol! 1BitmixerEiyyp3eTLaCpgBbhYERs48qza

Is he teasing us? Do BITMIXER.IO have any policy on mixing obviously stolen coins?
How did he manage to redirect that money directly to bitmixer? Or did i get something wrong?

Through Coin control feature.
485  Economy / Services / Re: I was hacked (1170btc stolen) - 500btc max BOUNTY on: July 12, 2014, 10:01:38 AM
Can someone explain to me what this comment means.

Attempted a BTC tag.

You owe me $2 so far  Grin

He probably wanted to left a message in bitcoin transaction and sent those coins on hackers address but, that hacker donated that input to some other address. I think He's using latest bitcoin client or armory with coin control.

OP did you used dropbox's password on other sites too? Try to remember and check if any site got compromised or was shady.
Ps: It can be due to malware infected also or a inside job.

:| You are probably getting phishing/malware emails. Do not click on them.

Does that mail looks like this?

http://i.gyazo.com/11273a2f199826d40ccb6cd7a8110d73.png

Yes, but I also get a RED Bar on the top of the gmail account, saying about the suspicous sign in Attempt, so I am sure, its not a spam.
And instead from Check your account it says Reset your password, plus the sender mail is : no-reply@accounts.google.com
So I am sure, its not a spam.

Then it's definitely a sign in attempt, add 2 factor for more safety and use unique password on websites.

490  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why use bitcoins when my dollars are working just fine for me? on: July 08, 2014, 10:42:49 AM
If your question is for "bitcoin as payment solution" then you shouldn't compare them, as both have different pros and cons.
Biggest pros with bitcoin is anonymity and privacy.

As a consumer you should use any of them which suits you.

492  Local / India / Re: Sent Money to wrong person by mistake(Bank Transfer) on: July 07, 2014, 04:37:50 PM
Is this true? Can NEFT, RTGS, IMPS payments be charge back? I sell for direct payment in my account, can it also be charged back? pls someone answer this.

Some ppl  can buy bitcoins and then claim that they send wrongly??

No chargeback is not possible unless beneficiary allow's that.

Once I've made a payment of 6 figures but on my account it keeps showing as cancelled, I called my bank and asked about it, support guy said it's cancelled and I can make another payment, I asked him twice and took his details then I did transfer again but after one hour they processed that cancelled transaction. I called bank again and told everything, they said.. "Oh sir we are really sorry but we can't do anything, you can ask beneficiary to return funds or you can go to our branch, then fill a form and do FIR" lol

Luckily that guy was genuine so he returned full amount in morning, other than that I've never made a single mistake in making payments.

Whenever you are making payment check account number twice (Full or Correct Name isn't required for transfers)

Check this case

Oh well I'm trying it from several hours It's  4am here now and i can't do it anymore..
I did some mistake, probably you guys can do it properly.

OP said A = 10  BabyA a =36

Now take a look at your keyboard.

QWERTYUIOP  Q=0 W=1 E=2 R=3 T=4 Y=5 U=6 I=7 O=8 P=9
ASDFGHJKL A=10 s=11 D=12 F13 G14 H15 J16 K17 L18
ZXCVBNM Z19 X20 C21 V22 B23 N24 M25

Now if we will carry digits to lower case
qwertyuiop q=26 w27 e28 r29 t30 y31 u32 i33 o34 p35
asdfghjkl a=36 s37 d38 f39 g40 h41 j42 k43 l44

Got the same and was looking and clicking in my gmail to find "blokchaln.info" - but can not.
How did you find that info ?

If you will open mail-blockchain dot info in your browser it will redirect you to blokchln dot info where phishing page is hosted.

And bank's can't stop you to spend your money even if it's bitcoin or some other virtual currency.
