481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2x to dump or not to dump on: November 02, 2017, 02:34:09 AM
It's clearly that S2x fork gonna change the things a lot
The price of BTC is skyrocketing and by the mid of nov i think it will reach 10K at least

but as a small holder .. what do you think we should we do ..

should we dump it for some BTC as BCC or should we hold it as the "NEW THING" ?!!

This shit is getting me confused

If you are afraid to lose your marbles, then you must hold it together with your bitcoins. I personally did it with my btc cash and btc gold, so no matter what happens in the future, I have the same amount of bitcoins.
482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: November 02, 2017, 12:33:16 AM
The only thing that scares me with my bitcoins is when it becomes impossible to cash out meanwhile nobody (merchants) accepts bitcoin as payment. But I doubt it would happen because the silk road will always be there to accept bitcoins.
483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is everybody so sure Segwit2x is going to be just another fork? on: November 02, 2017, 12:25:42 AM
Because the core is the core. We have seen what happened to cash and gold already so I am crossing my fingers that same will happen to x2. Anyway, I don't think I should speak anything about this matter because I am still holding on to those forks until now. I mean I haven't sold my forks from cash to gold yet. Whatever happens in the future, I have equal amount of "bitcoins". Whatever will be, will be.
484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What wil happen to Bitcoin if we acquire the 21M BTC? on: November 02, 2017, 12:01:37 AM
I have read that 21M BTC was originally created, and we currently acquired 16.6M BTC. What will happen to the value of bitcoin as we approach the 21M BTC? and what will happen if we reach 21M BTC?
That depends on the demand and usage of bitcoins. If bitcoin has reached the 21M product limit and only 1/4 of the world has bitcoins, and the demand and usage of bitcoin is damn high, then we can sell our bitcoins for a higher price. Just imagine the 3/4 of the population struggling to get a part of the 21M supply...
485  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can international students in NA buy BTC? on: November 01, 2017, 11:55:40 PM
I am an international student in California. Is that possible for me to buy BTC online. And what kind of platform is recommended?
As far as I know, you may purchase bitcoins in bittrex using your credit card. The only thing I don't know is how are you going to cash it out, since you'll have to wire it to your bank account because you live in the United States.
486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT WAS YOUR INVESTMENT IN BITCOIN on: November 01, 2017, 05:35:26 AM
Hi Guys, in January of 2017 I invested $ 450 in bitcoin, I was very scared because it was the only thing I had at that moment, when I bought the price of bitcoin it was $ 1050 and under the price at $ 760, my fear was greater because I lost money, but not sold, I wait and now the price is $ 6400, if I divide 6400/1050 gives me 6.09, it means that my initial investment multiplied by 6.1 approximately.

 450 $ * 6.1 = 2745 $ =  Grin Grin Grin

How much has your investment multiplied?
You are such a strong hand, my friend. I remember back in March when bitcoin fell its price to $800, congratulations you didn't sell at that point. Hmmm... I actually bought 3 bitcoins at $800 and my wife almost had killed me because I didn't inform her that i'm gonna use our money for bitcoins. Ha ha ha. Good thing it's at $6000 now.
487  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000 Bitcoin Price BTC Tests All-Time High on: October 31, 2017, 03:02:03 PM
Oh well, in the mid 2017, most people that I know have called bitcoin a bubble and told me that it will totally crash after it hits the $3000 mark. Now, those same people are trying to work their asses so hard just to accumulate bitcoins because they now believe that it would reach the $10000 very soon. Well, I guess nobody needs CNN nor Nostradamus to believe the $10,000-so-soon prophecy.  Grin
488  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just jumped $200, and then dumped $100... on: October 31, 2017, 02:50:30 PM
I wish I didn't stopped gunbot from doing he's thing. Ha ha! It could have been fun if I earned some USDT on that quick jump. Anyway, I'll watch the movement and try to get some money out of it. I was thinking earlier to maybe margin trade this whole day.
489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to eliminate unemployment. on: October 31, 2017, 04:45:38 AM
I left my day job in the beginning of this year and focused on trading and writing blogs, I totally disagree with the Idea of being unemployed and getting into bitcoins full time because right now I already feel the scarcity in the jobs, imagine what will happen if thousands of people would compete for just hundreds of jobs. That is a total chaos, man... I suggest instead of becoming a lazy ass, why don't you just make a living in the real world and ask bitcoins for payment. You can offer your skills but only accept bitcoin for payment to evade taxes.  Grin

PS: best example is the signature campaign in this forum, as you notice, bunch of lazy asses have invaded this website and joined the sigs even though they cannot speak conversational english.
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China and the banks have interest in bitcoin and would want to get it cheap on: October 30, 2017, 02:16:16 PM
Hmmm. I guess China can just rather mine bitcoins instead of FUDding for dips. If they are really into bitcoins then they will concentrate with the production/mining and not the accumulation. We should know by now how China plays the game of business. Chinese do not really care about the price of their products, they are more concern with the number of sales. Also, the banks won't talk shit about bitcoins if they will just promote it someday because nobody would buy it.
491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if Bitcoin replaces USD? on: October 30, 2017, 12:14:03 PM
Imagine that in the future Bitcoin or an other currency actually replaces the currencies we know today like EUR or USD.

What will back/define the worth of one Bitcoin/crypto?
Nothing, we decide the value of bitcoins, the market cap serves as proof that it has a value unlike fiats which are said to be representation of gold reserves. So what will happen if Bitcoin replaces fiat? The rich will no longer be as rich as they used to be, and the early adapters of bitcoin will enjoy the perks of believing in it.
492  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which Tradingtools to use? on: October 30, 2017, 03:28:36 AM
Well man, if you really want to trade hardcore, I really advise you to stay in front of a computer and not of an android device. Google coinmarketcap and that would serve as your desktop blockfolio. Another piece of advice, if you can't stay in front of your computer, you better buy bots.
493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why all other coins pretending to be bitcoin will fail (including BTG). on: October 30, 2017, 03:19:04 AM
Why? because HUMANS have emotions, most of us treat BTC as if it has a sentimental value... yes, there can be lots of forks as we move on, but there is only one BITCOIN. I still believe in the urge of humanity to be free from the government and capitalists. That's why I guess people will always treat the forks as free money, and after selling them they would buy BITCOIN.
494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does a cryptocurrency not create its own marketplace? on: October 30, 2017, 03:12:29 AM
I get it... yes that would be a great idea, if only a brave soul would put up a mall or an arcade where all the stuffs are purchasable with cryptocurrency not just bitcoins. Man, when that happens, we will gone mainstream!
495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Can Bitcoin Be Mainstream? on: October 29, 2017, 11:51:04 PM
When bitcoin is regularly seen on TV and in billboards that would be the mainstream era for us. The challenge is the bitcoin is decentralized that's why there is no single entity to promote it. We can do it ourselves.
496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Satoshi question: What if on: October 29, 2017, 01:43:18 PM
Terribly interesting idea. It has some fishy parts.  I shall purchase.
Purchase what now??? Anyway, if Satoshi did, then the price of bitcoins would've been half way low by today, and I really don't think that Satoshi would do that... first of, he is a punk programmer and not a capitalist like Roger and John. Satoshi might have been livin' a peaceful and prosperous life by now and he doesn't even have to think about the btc price anymore because I assume that with all of his kept bitcoins, he couldn't spent it all till he gets old.
497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get a static Bitcoin adress ? on: October 29, 2017, 01:36:48 PM
I don't get it... if you want a static address then you can buy a hard wallet or create an account at coins.ph. Actually, my problem is the other way around because I need a secured wallet that changes its address every transactions.
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it better to invest in bitcoin prior to "forks" or after "forks" ? on: October 27, 2017, 03:43:47 AM
Hmmm. I actually bought bitcoins before ETF rejection and I haven't sold these coins until now. When it comes to forks, if you are after BITCOIN itself then you should buy after the dump which normally occurs after fork. However, if you want to get free money from the fork coins then you should buy bitcoins about a month or two before the fork, because normally the price goes high crazily weeks prior to that.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Trading Exchange advice on: October 27, 2017, 03:38:49 AM
Try Poloniex, Liqui and Cryptopia. These exchange also has big volume and available many coin to trade in their platform and these exchange also has been regulated. And trading fee also smaller than others if Iam not wrong.
I echo this... and just to add, cryptopia offers PoS coins which haven't gone mainstream yet. If you cannot trade without losing profits because of fees, I suggest you use bots. It may not be working good to others, but it might work for you.
500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the end of bitcoin and blockchain era? on: October 27, 2017, 01:49:07 AM
In my opinion, new innovations do not mean it is the end of another... bitcoins will stay here at least for the next century. Anyway, blockchain is beginning to attract more business usage nowadays, so I don't think it's going to end soon.
