481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Mt Pelerin - Swiss Blockchain Banking on: February 05, 2019, 03:10:14 PM
Any ETA on when MPS will be tradeable? Some of us are just stumbling onto the project now and sorely regret not having come across it earlier. Unfortunately, there's just too much going on in the ICO space to stay on top of it all

No exchange listing ETA yet, make sure to subscribe to our newsletter or join our Telegram group to be informed when there will be some news!

Already in the TG group. The problem with TG is keeping track of important announcements and separating those announcements from normal banter. Wish they were an announcement channel to further help keep track of updates. Subscribed to newsletter though. Thanks

For a non-technical reader, what are the practical differences between Mimblewimble projects (Grin, Beam) and what Zano brings to the table, especially regarding the main 2 aspects: privacy and blockchain size?
I mean from a users point of view...
Spot on mate. Been waiting for a "tell-me-like-I'm-5yo" delivery of the differences between these MW implementations. Wouldn't mind having it delivered as an infographics or table of comparison. Handy for quick consultation and sharing

I guess team will come with a better answer and more official as well.   But to what i've heard, MW is mostly a layer 2 it can be added to pretty much any other layer 1 tech out there.  So it's not really comparable like 2 different layer 1 projects would be.

I guess the team will come out with a more official statement because this question is asked a lot lately (and with reason).
Thanks mate! That suddenly puts a lot of things and perspective and completely alters the way I've been looking at some MW blockchain branding. Almost feeling like a dupe for falling for some. Looking forward to further info from the team though. Seems like one just can't stop learning in this industry

Looks like these guys turned tail and bolted. Team section has been taken off their site alongside all social media links except for the ones someone forgot to take down in the contact us page. Telegram channel is spam heaven, but from what I can gather, Mobile Ecosystem (MSCE) absorbed GES and allowed people to swap without actually ramming home the point that GES was dying. Then, MSCE ran into liquidity problems and acquired this exchange: https://bhao.vip/#/home to circumvent paying for listing fee. Then, rekt

Do we need to fill or pass KYC if wanna use MESG? and, any restrict country to use it or we can use it wherever? Thanks
Not that I know of or the team has made the community aware of. All I know is the token's going on exchange on Feb 14. The token will go live on Digifinex. Other exchanges are likely to follow. However, only digifinex has been unveiled by the team for now

Great job mate, you just not only reveal this scam project but also saved a lot of investors too. Lets try to keep our forum clean together.
That's the plan mate. This forum has given so much to the community, time to give back to the forum

489  Economy / Scam Accusations / VriCoin - Fake Team/Stolen Identity on: January 30, 2019, 07:36:57 PM
ICO Name: VriCoin
Website:  https://www.vricoin.io
ANN: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5103984.0
Archived Site: https://web.archive.org/web/20190130185212/https://www.vricoin.io/
Archived ANN: https://web.archive.org/web/20190130185214/https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5103984.0

Came across the announcement of Vricoin and went to their site for a quick evaluation only to find the site replete with grammatical and syntax error. No crime in that. However, when the content you're reading cannot make up its mind on something as elementary as "blockchain" and "block-chain", certain red flags start to flutter in the wind.

Decided to check up on the team and here's where it starts to get extremely colourful starting with the CSO, James Lee.

Who also happens to be onboard another badly worded and formatted blockchain project; Ian-coin

Of course, English is not everybody's first language - certainly not mine too. However, a look at partners for VriCoin and IanCoin begins to show certain similarities:

VirCoin Partners

IanCoin Partners

Of course, partnership is not an exclusive affair. The same with advisors - speaking of which, I decided to start digging into their advisors and turned up with the first fake profile. Meet DR, ROMAN SAMAREY

Problem is the good doctor is not a doctor, but poker player Oliver Blakey:

https://www.linkedin.com/in/oliverblakey/

My attention quickly went back to the rest of the team, where the features of an ANDREY VOLKOV just didn't look that Slavic at all

Turns out the real identity belongs to Taisei Hosino, a team member of Baasid, also on ICOBench

At this point, both the circumstential and concrete evidence points to a carefully selected blend of stolen and real identities to try and pass as the real McCoy
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡BQT - SOCIAL P2P CRYPTO EXCHANGE AND HEDGE TRADING PLATFORM ⚡ on: January 30, 2019, 02:46:58 PM
The best thing about the project is active development by the team. This thing attracts investors as the well as supporters towards the project.
The developer was confused by the situation with the ether and because of this they temporarily stopped the development. I sincerely hope that this is the problem.
Fake news/info!!!
There was no time that the team stopped/paused or put a halt to development due to crypto market downturn. BQT development continues and the CEO has been on the road, appearing at numerous shows and interviews. Was recently at Binance Conference
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡BQT - SOCIAL P2P CRYPTO EXCHANGE AND HEDGE TRADING PLATFORM ⚡ on: January 29, 2019, 09:09:51 AM
Something the team does not want to get in touch. It is a pity that they do not communicate with users here and do not show activity.
Team are always around and development updates from the team are always reflected here too. All concerns and suggestions from the community is always addressed too. However, if you do have further suggestion, feel free to express them

I know that its ico has been over for a long time.I want to know which exchange we can trade now.Now which step it has developed.what characteristics does it have relative to other coins?

Hello!

MHC not listed yet. We'll announce the exchanges soon.
The project is developing, latest update - app for smart contracts.
MHC has speed from 50,000 TPS and more, transactions approval time - 3 sec max. Also, it is decentralised and uses muli-POS. And we don't use mining, only forging Wink
Please, feel free to read more in the WhitePaper - https://static.metahash.org/docs/MetaHash_WhitePaper_EN.pdf?v=5
Can you tell us which exchange you plan to trade on?Whether it can be trade on bittrex. We have been waiting for a long time.We hope to get the exact message.
Same boat here. Been waiting on the project listing for what seems to be forever - and I keep getting it mixed up with some other crypto project also employing the "Meta" prefix. Bittrex seems like a tall order though. I'd take cryptobridge
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Bitcoin Saudi Arabia] - major mined reserved for Saudi Arabia Government on: January 28, 2019, 09:50:48 AM
but I am curious about the BTCSA, has the Saudi Arabia government made a statement regarding its support for the BTCSA?
No, there's no support for it.
Let me put it this way; the developers are hoping the government apply and buy the premined from them: https://web.archive.org/web/20190126191918/https://bitcoinsa.coinsgov.org/

Wonder why any government will be inclined to do so when they can just commission their version easily
The reserved coins are for Saudi Arabia government to claim with no cost.

Of course, but the government can just as well develop their own crypto at no cost too. However, that does not answer the most important question: Has the company remotely interested in your project? Do they even know that it exists?
Reason for these questions is obvious since you're asking the government to send you duly stamped and sealed application on your site, that means you've got no access inside

Hi,
I'd like to know more about the project, especially the team developing it. Can't seem to find any team info on the site or WP too. I'm trying to get a feel of their ability to develop for this billion dollar industry.
Thanks

Dear Bowtiearecool,

Our NUPay Website is currently under the process of changing designs and details. It will be updated within this week. So, please look forward to it with patience.
Also, with our white paper, you can check out our whitepaper on our ICO website (http://tpct.io/). Please PM (@NUPay_SamYang OR @NUPay_Peter) in regards to any further questions about the NUPay Project. Thank you for your interest in the NUPay Project. Lastly, please do join our English Telegram Community to be a part of the NUPay Community (https://t.me/NUPay_Official_Community).

Thanks for the WP link, the one I found on the Nupay site wasn't as detailed as the one of the ICO site. Puts a lot of things in perspective.
Also, I'd like to inform you that when downloading the WP on either site, the filename is enclosed in apostrophes making them inaccessible unless one renames the file from 'ENG_TPCT_WP.pdf' to ENG_TPCT_WP.pdf

IDAP is a big scam
Hello Esra,
Before making a post.
Try and do your research about the project.
I suggest you read the whitepaper and check the website.
By the way, idap will release its testnet exchange version soon. I am sure you will have a change of heart
The scam accusation is based on this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5059266.0
Based on his side of the story, the Idap team seems to have led him on a wild goose chase only to drop the ball on him. Of course, there was a fine print disclaimer that he probably should have paid attention to, however, if the rejection was as a result of the translation not meeting the team's desired threshold, they should have informed him instead of leading him on for months
So much hate about this project only because they didn´t pay one bounty hunter? Lol. I was tricked so many time in bounty campaigns. So I do not understand what is really happening here.
Sadly, we all have our fair share of promises being broken, especially to bounty hunters. It hurts especially when you consider the dedication and effort professionals like translators put into the job. However, it's sometimes best to just move on in the end

Still curious why ENY was chosen for pairing - out of the two thousand or so possible choices out there. I must confess, I haven't had the time to look into ENY. However, would greatly appreciate any pointer why this particular choice
