4922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: November 19, 2015, 05:23:06 AM
Is their any safe methods to gamble? Means without losing much of our money can gamble?

Any tips or suggestions?

For me there is no safe method in gambling. There are 2 very important points that would help any gambler control their losses or even enter in profit, that is a good bankroll management (this is crucial to survive the variance and profit in the long term), and leave emotions out of gambling so you always know what you are doing.

May be a self control and well money management are the working way of playing gambling in safer way.

I guess we need to treat gambling same as trading Forex. In Forex trading we need to have good emotion control and very disciplined on every activities of decision-making.

Same things may help to make gambling safe.
4923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: November 19, 2015, 05:08:22 AM
When you win, you always feel like you could win more.

When you lose, all you want to do is win what you lost back.

Yes both winning in gambling or losing make a gambler to play again and again.
In the event of losses, people are blindly believing to recover their losses from same game. I am too like that, but I do not know how we are believing a gambling play to recover our losses. This may be a starting point of addiction.

Winning or losing is not a matter in gambling to get addicted.
Because both winners as well as losers are getting addicted to gambling for their own reasons. In general we can say gambling is addictive regardless of your success or failure with gambling.
4924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your bitcoins ? on: November 18, 2015, 02:06:59 PM
im still storing my bitcoin at blockchain from beginning, i've got no problem but some of my friend say that blockchain isn't safe, i would give trezor a try  Grin probably it's the most secure wallet in bitcoin world

It is better not to store bitcoin in online service unless there is multsignature feature. If there is a security flaw in the online system, you might be in trouble.
Keeping your bitcoin under your control must be the safest way of storing hard-earned bitcoins. So I do always prefer go for desktop bitcoin wallets for storing my bitcoins. These wallets stores more secure if you disconnect them from Internet, the off-line, cold storage way.

4927  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: November 11, 2015, 05:03:19 PM
Do girls use Bitcoin ? - Yes, they are same like guys in the internet and they do shopping too, but the popularity is less comparing to how much guys use bitcoins.

Yeah but the difference is that they will only use and spend bitcoins in shopping, they would never try to earn it, and that is the difference between boys and girls, boys will work hard to earn bitcoins and girls will spend their hard earned coins in fraction of seconds but yes there are some girls who are earning bitcoins too and that is the good sign for bitcoin community.

Yup! there are girl/woman that maybe spending their partners bitcoin most of the time, but A lot I know are earning it, maybe a knowledge to bitcoin can change the way they think about bitcoin, I had friends like that, when I explain what is bitcoin and all of the good things bitcoin can do for them, they now start in increasing their own bitcoin wallet.

Yeah, and that is the good sign, we live in the world where we can find all kind of persons, some of them would take it positively, they will work hard to earn it and there would be some lazy people who just believes in spending it and that is out of our control and if girls contributes to the bitcoin community then it would definitely add value to the community.

Yes girls are equally interested on bitcoin ecosystem so far I have observed in my office and in my friend Circle. I couldn't find any gender difference the advantage of using bitcoin. All the above girls are more conscious about investments and in the future of bitcoin than men.

Yes but some women would rather post their beautiful faces on facebook than care what the hell is that bitcoin your talking about.

I'm not able to agree this.
I have seen many girls who are spending more time in bitcointalk rather than Facebook. Even in my friends there are lots of serious bitcoin holder. They believe in future of bitcoin and just earning new bitcoins.
4928  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: November 11, 2015, 04:59:02 PM
I keep hearing about how it's not easy to get 1 btc!?!?! 3/4 of this damn thread gambled all their money away trying to "double up". It's crazy, the people using this tech are supposed to be smart and this entire forum is filled with morons.

Jesus @(*&%*(#% christ.

You've all had like 3 years to scrap together $250 dollars... there are guys in India making a few cents a day who managed to get a full bitcoin over the last few years and yet, this entire thread is filled with people who "support BTC" but have only .003 BTC!>>!!?

Come on guys, cut me a break.

Who doesn't have 1?
Bitcoin newbies, non bitcoin users and right now , me Cheesy

Its not that easy to get 1 btc(unless you'll buy some) nowadays, so definitely there's some that don't have 1 btc yet (especially those who just want to earn btc)

A lot of ppl on this forum are from developing countries, are young, or are new to bitcoin...that's why you see so many posts of ppl that have dust in their wallets.

Do you think someone with 20 or 50 bitcoin is going to waste their time announcing it on this thread? No. If you aant to know how much ppl have start a poll so it can be responded to anonymously.

I believe they also will announce their holdings just encourage the new comers and how much is possible to we can make from bitcoin. These are the simple way to spread out bitcoin advantages of holding it. We need to spread them.
4929  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: November 11, 2015, 04:39:54 PM
Hodling in good as in bad times, still holding like mad....

With my little experience in bitcoin trading I do find holding is best thing we can do in and not decidable market situation. Even we miss some profits we can stay safe from any losses.
4930  Economy / Speculation / Re: Below 300$ in 3,2,1... on: November 11, 2015, 04:34:00 PM
Maybe a test today?
"Test" for what, or by whom?

I can't believe people are still holding on to these technical analysis nonsense. It's all panic and fear. Look at these ridiculous dumps the last half hour.

Yep...looks like a test coming right up..

Positive momentum of short term indicators has broken down.

It's a test for sure.
But I don't think we can see below $300 levels today itself. Because $300 must be a very strong resistance, so price movement need very strong force to break this type of residence. So I don't think we can be the testing of below $300 level is possible within today.
4931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 11, 2015, 04:29:53 PM
English batsmen again failed Paki bowlers doing wonderful job it looking much hard to get fighting total there less than 200 runs would be easy target for Pakistani team to chase it.
After losing 2 early wickets they are still good and trying to do all smoothly Younis in his last match try to perform some good batting with Hafeez overall Pakistan record is not good against England but hope today they will try hard for good result

youinis Khan scored only 9 runs in his final ODI innings. I guess Pakistan in deep trouble as they have lost three wickets. Still the game is the for both the sides as England scored just about 4 runs for over.
4932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: November 11, 2015, 04:19:54 PM
of course you can, but it all depends on luck, the great gambling can certainly produce more of it

Exactly.  A lot of people have been saying you can't win in the long term which I disagree, it all depends on how lucky you get.

Yes luck factors is very important when we are gambling. Gambling would be more profitable when you find yourself so lucky even in short time or in long time gambling.
4933  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Rules to avoid being scammed on: November 11, 2015, 04:16:10 PM
Many thanks, this was vey helpfull to get started and avoid losses.
Yes I found many useful ways and steps we need to follow to avoid getting scammed and to protect our hard-earned bitcoins. Bitcoin transactions can be done safely with the many trusted veteran member here using them as Escrow.
4934  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Do You Earn Free Bitcoins? on: November 11, 2015, 04:13:59 PM
To get .1BTC in a week for free can become an impossible task!

not nymore, since the price is tanking again below 350, so all rate should be increased now, and miners diff should return to the previous point slowly

the difficult of acquire new coins is correlated with the bitcoin value
Yes bitcoin prices are falling down more quickly currently it is trading around $310. Even the bitcoin prices are falling some faucet do not increase the Satoshi amounts. So it is hard to earn even with less priced bitcoin.
4935  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy bitcoin with credit card like Master card or Visa. on: November 11, 2015, 04:11:20 PM
For buying bitcoin with cards, Coinbase does not support many countries. Xapo provides buying services like this, have anyone tried this from Asian countries and sharing their experience would be more useful.
4936  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: November 11, 2015, 04:08:24 PM
Gambling!
This is not the way to make any coin. You will lose it faster than you when you started out. A lot of people here can agree with that.
Just trading on the market is considered a gamble in itself right now  Wink

Depends on what kind of investment you will do a gamble.

Trading btc is one of the gambling type I like. Even you lose here chances of getting up is possible unlike other gambling types.
I'm absolutely unable to agree with making bitcoin along with gambling. Gambling must not be the best way to earn bitcoin in any kind of gamblers regardless of their experience and capital they're having. Gambling must be done in a funny way with the small amount of bets.
4937  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How should I secure my bitcoins? on: November 11, 2015, 04:04:05 PM
If someone hacks into Coinbase, they could steal alot more than 2 thousand dollars. xD

I'd say if you trust yourself:

- Cold Wallet
- Paper Wallet

If you don't trust yourself:

- Bank Vault
- Get a trusted person to hold and keep your Bitcoins safe.

don't do it Smiley
better trust your self and save your money at paperwallet or trezor

anyway im never hear about Bank vault accept to saving bitcoin ?

One would create a paper wallet or something and put it in the bank vault, like a safe deposit box.

My ledger HW.1 has been dispatched and will arrive this week. I was watching a tutorial on youtube and one of the founders of ledger has 900BTC!  Shocked

900 bitcoins must be very big money. It's only possible to earn this much via providing any services related to bitcoin. I believe they must have earned that much money from selling Hardware wallet itself.
4938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS STILL FAMOUS on: November 11, 2015, 01:28:45 PM
Ofcourse there is a steep fall that has been noticed by every bitcoiner but it is the king and will be the king forever. I wish I were there when the price was on hike and its avlue was almost 0.0001 USD.
Bitcoin is king among the all cryptocurrencies. I think blockchain technology is getting more popularity than bitcoin these days. I also like to get price hike but too much of fluctuation on its price wouldn't make it virtual currency for daily use. If the price keep on fluctuating too often people get fear to hold bitcoin or even do transaction with bitcoin.

Correct, but the price stability will be depending upon the adoption level of the people, if the adoption level is high price would be more stable or it would keep on fluctuating every day, and it is a part and parcel of any currency bitcoins cannot be an exception but the best thing is bitcoins is gaining more and more popularity everyday as there is a addition to the bitcoins users everyday.

Yes due to the instability of price the bitcoin is not that much popular among people on daily using. When that are many people accepting and using bitcoin then we can say bitcoin will achive stability in value.

4940  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: November 11, 2015, 01:22:00 PM
The worst mistake I did with the bitcoin ecosystem must be spending more time on faucet earning. I ended up frustrated with me earning over time spending for it. That the mistake I did with the crypto-currency is mining the alt coins and they became delisted from exchanges.
