4681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be profitable in the long run! It is possible! on: January 07, 2016, 08:09:32 AM
Yes, gambling is always profitable. But it is highly unlikely. You have to basically fight the house edge. If the house edge of 2%, that means every hundred bets, 49 will be wins and 51 will be losses. But this is a statistic. You could lose all of them, or you could win all of them.

Yes, i agree with you. but not always profitable, you will profitable if you r not playing so greedy and know how to stop, especially if you bet on dice sites that have house edge.

Yes, with the proper disciplined way of gambling we can find ourselves into profit sometimes. But I do believe it is not possible for all the time for all the gamblers. Because stopping at right time must be more important when we are playing against hose edge.
4682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: January 07, 2016, 07:02:10 AM
Bitcoin has been always real money to me since the beginning.
Since i heard for bitcoin i know that it will have a good future as it is unique and the first cryptocurrency

But I'm not interested to consider bitcoin like real money now itself. Because it will make myself to regret. In future after bitcoins get higher value then I will use it as real money for my daily needs. So I'm saving my bitcoin for my future use, until it gets higher value.

4683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know whether its your lucky day? on: January 07, 2016, 03:22:52 AM
There is no such thing as my lucky day.
I just limit my losses / feel happy with my gains and move on.  Smiley

You are right. If I was able to find my lucky day then I would have been a billionaire by this time just with gambling profits alone. Even a lucky day has tuned into terrible day many times just with over gambling. So, there is no lucky day at all.
4684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 07, 2016, 03:17:47 AM
Today first T20 match between New Zealand and Sri Lanka. Match now going to start, Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to field first.

I think NZ is much stronger team in T20 format so I think NZ will surely win this match. What you guys think?

New Zealand looks more stronger now after 18th over they have scored 163 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. I strongly believe it is going to be New Zealand's game. I have put my odds on New Zealand. The home ground advantages will continue for them in T20 series also.
4685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: January 05, 2016, 06:56:32 PM
unfortunately i must tell you that there are no safe methods to gamble your money in casinos, i would be very happy if there was such a strategy as it would let me to earn vast amount of money but then the casinos wouldnt get any profit from players

But controlling your emotions and always keeping your self-discipline are the some way of making your gambling more
safe. But it is not possible for all the gamblers to follow some rules to make their gambling safer.
Only in practice we can develop our own way of safe gambling. With the practice, the safe gambling is impossible.
4686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLE OR INVEST? on: January 05, 2016, 06:00:26 PM
to all of you guys.. what do you think is better? is it to invest or to gamble in sites? tell me your point of view and why.

Investing is better because they almost in all cases have Positive Expected Value.

Gambling is better if it has higher Positive Expected Value than investing, because of promotions or any other reason. Example : Ryan's pevpot.com

Getting profit by gambling is always based on luck. No guarantees at all.
Even if you gain at one moment you can loose every thing in the next moment. It's always too risky with gambling.
Investments are also risky but select programs can fetch us.
4687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In gambling, Money is more important than knowledge and luck on: January 05, 2016, 05:53:20 PM
I agree with op you need a decent bankroll for gambling knowledge to know what and when to do it. And luck goes without saying

Yes without money, the other two factors are meaningless. I believe if you go with your luck then there is no need of knowledge for managing anything. Luck and bankroll are logically connect with respect to gambling. If your luck favors you never need to go gambling again once you hit big profits from gambling.
4688  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $600 during the first month of the new year? on: January 04, 2016, 09:42:16 AM
Last December we did not pass $500, so I don't think $600 is possible for this month. I heard that halving thing will help pump the exchange rate but not sure if it's enough to make it to $600

But I do see around $100 price raise in every month now a days. So, we can see prices staying above $500 is possible in January and may be testing the $600 levels also. More over, we can not accurately predict bitcoin prices always and within halving we can always expect more surprises also.
4689  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2016 crash has begun! on: January 04, 2016, 09:34:43 AM
Yeah! The crash has indeed been initiated, just now it reached a low of $365..... Lips sealed You are soo full of nonsense most of the times. I wonder if your account has several holders, because some times what you say makes good sense, and the other day it's pure nonsense.

$365 in which exchange?

Bitstamp :
Last Price:  $430.43
Daily Change:  -$0.61  / -0.14%
Day's Range:  $428.44 - $432.43
Today's Open: $431.54

Bitcoin prices are more now stable. And today is not April 1st?.....
4690  Economy / Speculation / Re: Halving already 100% priced in! Would you buy or sell now? on: January 04, 2016, 09:29:28 AM
remember that the current price is already good for the halving, but this is for now

there are still 7 months before the halving, which mean that plenty of thing will change, but if everything will remain the same by the time that the halving come, diff included

then yes there is no reason for the price to grow to accomodate the halving

You're talking about only the in view of miners' and their mining costs effectiveness.
But there would be sudden change in supply of bitcoin which will trigger how people will be seeing on bitcoin's future.
We cannot estimate the people's predictions on demand supply conflict, which may lead to a new life time high price also.
4691  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening to BTC price? on: January 04, 2016, 09:10:37 AM
right now nothing price is stable and ready for jump well i hope so it will jump (but we all hope for big jump)
only thing that can be done is that we follow and wait for some big changes

Yes bitcoin prices more stable from this new year. I believe it is a good sign for a long-term price appreciation. I do believe with this more stable prices we can easily see $500 levels very soon.
4692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: January 04, 2016, 09:07:49 AM
Relatively easy to use, very low fees and allows international transaction with no extra costs.

Not too easy to used I think , I tell my family to use bitcoin i've explain it . they still confused and call things in the internet mostly suck and scam they even tell me to be careful.
So the "easy to used" part I couldn't agree as my experience say it all.

As far as in present situation and the popularity of bitcoin, I do believe it is too hard to use bitcoin is a currency in many countries. But it would be easy to use bitcoin as an investment for a better future in long term.
I strongly believe it is time to use bitcoin as an investment.
4693  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: January 04, 2016, 07:47:02 AM
I just don't trust the economy and everyday I restate my assumptions and im glad that im getting BTC and saving it up to be ready for when the shit hits the fan. It's increasingly pointless to trust banks and states, everything is going to hell in the next 10-20 years and we'll see a nice big reset. BTC will explode by then.

Yes, to secure our wealth from the fluctuating economic conditions in many countries like Greece, Bitcoin would be the biggest alternate saving and investment option. So, to secure our future we must buy bitcoin and must save it for long term.
4694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Im sick of all these stupid Posts/questions about BITCOINS! on: January 04, 2016, 07:29:38 AM
I believe this thread also a freedom of showing one's view.
In a decentralized environment, we also have freedom of speech. So, showing no interest on some topics also part of this forum. Time will suppress out the unwanted/meaningless things. Only the fittest will survive.
4695  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think bitcoins will disapear or become unused? on: January 04, 2016, 07:24:29 AM
I think in the future where technology is advancing rapidly, bitcoin will not disappear because of the growing age of bitcoin will be increasingly adopted by many people

Yes, for the digital world, bitcoin is the right format of money. When we are moving towards the digitalization of everything, bitcoin would be the obvious form of digital money. So, there are no chances for bitcoin becoming getting unused.
4696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 04, 2016, 04:12:23 AM
Rain has affected day 2's play of the Australia - West Indies match as well.
With more play lost to rain, the chances of West Indies being able to squeeze out a draw increase.  Smiley

Even rain stopped play, before that C Brathwaite quick assaulted of 69 runs from just 71 balls stunned Australia, he hit 2 sixes in Pattinson over, but later fallen in his ball. I believe just draw also must be a big achievement for west Indies either with their skill or with the help of rain.
4697  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoins safe? on: January 02, 2016, 06:30:00 PM
i dont think its safe to keep all your money in bitcoins as its price might drop a lot
It is not safe to keep your money in one bank or invested in one project, company or FIAT currency either. Bitcoin is volatile and every bitcoin user should know that already.
Nobody can guarantee that bitcoin price won't go down as bitcoin is not centrally controlled but I think you can agree so far you could earn from bitcoin a lot more than you will lose.

The investments we are putting into bitcoin also would be safer for assured higher returns. But it would take some long time than what we are imagining. But in long term definitely we can get good returns with the bitcoin. In terms of returns bitcoin is always safe to invest.

I too believe strongly with bitcoin's safety. We can invest into bitcoin as well we can use bitcoin like a currency. In both ways bitcoin must be very much secure. We need not to worry about losing our money when we are storing bitcoin. With the strong cryptography bitcoin ecosystem with secure our investment with bitcoin.
4698  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: January 02, 2016, 06:18:04 PM
Funny, I AM a woman with guy-stereotype interests, actually. I would buy miners and computer gear with btc. I don't know, I

am just a different woman than most are.

There is nothing wrong for women to use Bitcoin it's just like money and passive income whenever I look at this question I ask myself why do people even think of such question Bitcoin is something which is for everyone.

yeah it's nothing wrong with that. but still it's rarely find a woman that using bitcoin and also buy miners with bitcoin. just stay the way you are jmintuck, i hope i find you in real life Cheesy

But in my country, there is much enough women who use and interesting with bitcoin. Maybe it is depends of difference socially society each place

In my country Gold is main attraction to girls. Even bitcoin is compared to gold, they are not ready to save bitcoin. This may be the reason they are not believing in the new technology. Maybe in future bitcoin become the international medium of exchange, then these girls would accept bitcoin as an investment.
4699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: January 02, 2016, 06:11:55 PM
I dont think so gamble can be safe...gamble is totally risky...
Dont be greedy in gamble...we will lose at all...

But we need to understand safe way gambling methods are not cracking way to make big profits out of gambling. These are the some ways that will help us to protect our investments to gamble in long term. But many people misunderstand the safe way of gambling like it is a cracking way of making quick profits out of gambling.
4700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we spread Bitcoin effectively. on: January 02, 2016, 06:03:44 PM
I think we can all spread it effectively by working hard to make sure people are informed about Bitcoin.  It is an understandable necessity for the outmost production.

Yes, we need to start spreading bitcoin with our friends and family first. Because talking about bitcoin to known people will be easy, compared to any strangers.
It is practically not possible for talking to a stranger about bitcoin. But some people in my office are doing this in social media, like selling insurance to a stranger. I don't think it's a working way of spreading bitcoin.

Yes talking to our friends would be much easier than talking to some unknown people. But when I forced my employees to accept of bitcoin payment, I was somewhat successful even with the unknown people. Some people has asked me to buy back the bitcoin after the accumulate some considerable the big amounts. I agreed to them just to spread bitcoins.
If we spread Bitcoins and its benefits to the non user's of Bitcoins through mouth publicity. It will sure effect the price rise in Bitcoins. And its great if you are giving the salary in Bitcoins to your employees. Both will get benefitted.

Yes, my way of spreading bitcoin would be showing people the way of making free money. Because many people are getting easily attracted to free money providing sites, like faucets and PTC sites. When they are slowly growing with their little free money they are asking me about bitcoin and its advantages over other payment processors. This way effectively helps me to spread bitcoin.
