4801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: December 07, 2015, 06:10:19 PM
The safest way to gambling is just have control, be prepared, don't spned the money that you can't afford to lose and don't be mad if you lose.
When you feel that you are losing I suggest you to stop playing.

That's hard for some people, because they believe there's always a chance they can win the next round and/or maybe the next. Some people have very little self control over certain things like these.

I'm not the one among your mentioned some people. I had blind belief of earning huge profits from gambling but ended up in life threatening losses. Even after every loss, I found mistakes in my predictions and not in gambling. I kept on correcting my predictions and I guess my life time is not enough for that.

Very sad. You have pointed out how the people are keeping their mind set to deposit funds into gambling even after many losses. This may be called addictions or blindness. I have seen these kind of pathetic stories in Forex people but this is first time I hear on gambling sections.

Yes addictions is equivalent to blindness. No doubt.
To recover the losses incurred in gambling, people again choose gambling. This is the main problem causing factor. If we avoid such a situations then we can gamble safe. This may be one of the safe way of gambling.
4802  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the highest price BTC can see in 2015? on: December 07, 2015, 12:15:08 PM
I hope to reach 400 dollar at the end of the year. That should be great.

if this continue like for the weekend we can expect over 400 in day or two (on some exchanges there was 400$ but if we calculate middle its still 5-10$ short)
we will maybe pass over 450 this month

Some traders clearly don't like $400 as they are dumping the price down again as soon as it touches $400 on Bitfinex. I do however think that we'll see the prices on various exchanges go over $400 and stay there for a while this month.
Christmas and New Years are coming! Some ppl may dump their Bitcoin holding to cash out profits and spending! I think it may drop a little before Christmas!! I guess it will reach at the level of $350

You may be right. People may cash out by selling some of their long holding bitcoins. But many people last year bought some new bitcoins and sent bitcoin gifts. At the same time it was very hard time for bitcoin ecosystem last year around January 2nd week, at that time only bitcoin hit year's low.
4803  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where u use bitcoins? on: December 07, 2015, 07:28:28 AM
I'm usually convert bitcoin from my local exchanger. ( usually contact throught BBM service )

Once I got the fiat, I spend some for my school need and some for my entertainment

With bitcoin, I can make more money to help my family

This is the common scenario most of the people are doing right now with bitcoins. I would suggest them to go bitcoin debit cards to save in exchange fees and time delays in converting bitcoins into fiats.
I do save most of my bitcoins just like investments for future use. Rarely I spend for trading alt coins.

Yes bitcoin debit cards are most useful to spend bitcoins. But unfortunately not available in my country.
With debit card we can break the usual barriers we do face with bitcoins. Once loaded into our debit cards, I believe can not find any difference between bitcoin and our local fiats.

With Amla gone, I believe India will be the favourites.
They just have to keep chipping away.

Only if India bowlers come out with new different ideas to get these South Africa batsmen to get out, India may think of winning this match. Otherwise I too guess South Africa is strong enough with their batting depth to draw this test match.

4806  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: December 06, 2015, 10:30:18 AM
The most important is its credibility and widely accepted by merchants all over the world. From this point of view, bitcoin's merchant acceptance is already better than gold, which require merchant to have specific tools and expertise to verify its purity

I don't know from where you are getting your data from. Do you really think that bitcoin's merchant acceptance is better than gold? Gold is accepted by hundreds of millions of merchants around the world (I'm talking about gold bullion coins / bars). On the other hand, how many merchants are accepting Bitcoin? 10,000? or 100,000?

No. I could not find gold accepting merchant online for my daily needs. All the above, gold is most suited for physical transactions. But bitcoin is meant for online usage.
Gold is depreciating for last 3 years. But bitcoin brought 10000% return in last 3 years.
4807  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in India? Not for a LOOOOONG time. on: December 06, 2015, 10:24:10 AM
Another reason is RBI regulations.
Paypal itself faced many hard time against Indian money laundering rules. (Still no personal payment option for Indian Paypal accounts and daily mandatory withdrawal to bank account).
Black money is big problem in Indian economy, so they will worry about bitcoin more.
4808  Economy / Speculation / Re: Weekend target $320 on: December 06, 2015, 10:16:36 AM
Interesting.. The price now on Bitstamp 392.6$, coinbase 393.6$, bitfinex 397.5$..it will break the 400$ tomorrow or just go down to ~360$ again?
I am a little bit optimistic, +400$ imo Smiley
I am little more optimistic so I would say the bitcoin price might rise to $400 today. $3 is for that hard to overcome on bitfinex.

Yes $400 on the way in bitstamp too. Usually there are no much movements in weekend, but today (sunday) morning I do see up surge in price movements. I guess tomorrow open will be above $400 levels only.
4809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: December 06, 2015, 09:44:49 AM
definitely no gambling, too easy to lose.  Perhaps more conservative routes like faucets, simply purchasing, holding, or investing.

holding is definitely not growing your bitcoins.

Anyway, try saving wallets like haobtc or Magnr. Theres a new one coming up which I cant remember the name off my head, it was featured in some crypto news site
sorry sir, i think holding is also growing your bitcoin, we can say it longterm investment, im holding my bitcoin to paper wallet, and i sure it will growing in future

I too believe in bitcoin value appreciations. Because by investing bitcoin we may grow our bitcoins and may not in some cases. Saving bitcoins from signature campaign and buying with my regular job is the only ways I do follow to grow my bitcoins.

Indeed better and safest ways to grow your bitcoins. But I feel these are passive way of growing bitcoins when I have more free time to gamble and to try in bitcoin trading to grow my bitcoins rapidly and actively. But there are more risks and always profits is not guaranteed.
4810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: December 06, 2015, 08:19:14 AM
Bitcoin and PayPal are essentially on par at the moment. The only difference is that PayPal may be a tad faster, and Bitcoin can appreciate in price. It really depends on what you want and what to spend your funds on.

the difference is that one is expensive as hell, the other save you money when purchasing something while increasing its value over time(i don't care about the haters saying that btc will die or trash liek that, because they have sold at $10), this is big difference for me

also they are equal in speed, actually bitcoin is faster, when i received for example, my money back froma  purchase because of a refund, i've waited days to see it in my paypal account, especially on weekend, not so much with bitcoin...

Yes this main difference of less fees associated with bitcoin will make it as a replacement for Paypal in near future. Even both are in equal speed, with bitcoin we can enjoy the liberality of owning our wealth. With Paypal some one else handles our money.

You still don't understand that you are comparing a currency (bitcoins) to a service (paypal) Of course you own your money because bitcoin is a currency, paypal works with currencies but it's not a currency.

Why we not compare these two? Both works online and used to send and receive money. Bitcoin is the system which deals with the unit which is also called bitcoins where as Paypal is a service provider which can deal with any fiat currencies. Paypal may freeze your fiats but bitcoin will never do that. I love bitcoin.

Because paypal is a service that uses lots of currencies, it's not fair to compare both when paypal uses dollars and euros which are currencies spread through every country in the world, there is no way for bitcoin to compete with that right now or in 10 years.

I doubt the existence of Paypal in next 2 years. Because there is no need of Paypal kind of services with higher fees and often freezing our funds.
Trusting a third party for just money transfer is a unwanted thing and no one will go for it when we have bitcoin in main stream in next 2 years.
4811  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where u use bitcoins? on: December 06, 2015, 07:52:14 AM
Even I got many chances to spend bitcoin for leading my daily life I prefer to save bitcoins for my future.
I still use fiats for paying my bills online. Mobile recharge is the first thing I tried to spend a little satoshi but changes my mind later not to spend bitoins now itself.

It depends on from which country you are from to lead a life completely based on bitcoin. In my country it is not possible right now. If possible I will love to lead a complete life out of bitcoin spending. Just for a trail also I want to do that kind of living.
4812  Economy / Speculation / Re: 232 days before bitcoin block reward halving on: December 06, 2015, 07:28:26 AM
Either BTC price increase double or miner difficulty drop half (maybe 30-40%). So efficient miner continue to mine like nothing happened. Sell your old miner now before its too late.

It seems we need to prepare for halving from now itself to face any kind of situations. I believe price of bitcoin will go high to cover the halving situations. In my point of view, 2016 will be the repeat of 2013 bitcoin price roaring just with only dissimilar of different reason.
I agree with you. There is no need to be uncomfortable when we hear about the block reward halving its actually a good thing.

Yes it must be a good thing and most needed thing to make bitcoin get advertised by it's basic property of good higher value. This one must be the idea of Satoshi to make bitcoin more popular in one day itself. Yes everything may get changed around halving.

Halving is the most important thing in bitcoin ecosystem. The capped supply and halving are the prime factors to maximize the value of bitcoin over some time period. Satoshi aimed like only a investment vehicle can reach mass, then it can slowly turn into value transferring unit.

Yes I agree, this must be the idea behind the halving. Instead of changing drastically after 4 years, it may be designed to decrease on every block. But the drastic change in supply will fire the value. The higher value will attracts many new users. This is what Satoshi must have aimed.
4813  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: December 06, 2015, 07:15:18 AM
bitcoin prices will continue to rise, perhaps in the future will be better bitcoin, so prices will continue at the pump. but no one can predict the future bitcoin, but my feeling says bitcoin will remain live for 10-20 years in the future or more

Bitcoin will live forever. Slow progress in adoption really blooms every year. Transactions, companies, exchanges, btc related services, all in all they are born and made because increase in numbers of people using bitcoin is noticeable.

it is better if the bitcoin will live forever, I'm really happy to hear this because my life really depends on bitcoin Smiley

What do you mean your life depends on it? 'Cause I'd be stressed out like a mf'r if my life depended on it.

I was unemployed and so far I earn just from bitcoin. so my life is very rely on bitcoin, that is what I mean Grin

Yes bitcoin ecosystem has provided employment to many people in the form mining, faucet service providing, alt coin exchange and earning free bitcoins. One of my friend is leading his life based on various bitcoin services since 2010, he lost his regular job in 2009 economic slow down.
4814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 06, 2015, 05:35:13 AM
India Just declared with setting target of 481 runs for South Africa. It's going to be very touch for them as forth and fifth day pitches of Delhi known for very much spinner friendly. Now this test match turned very interesting.
4815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: December 05, 2015, 05:08:15 PM
With a small investment, it is very possible to set up automated trading and make $1BTC per hour, which say $100-$200 in your account. If you trade in the right markets, you can easily make this and beyond daily.

I have read similar things a hundred times. But no one ever proofed it.
I highly that this is possible constantly. The risks are too high.
And what are the "right markets" please?!
To me this is just talking hot air!

Yes there is no living proof for this kind of claims. Trading or gambling are same kind of things which should not be considered as a way of earning even with any proof. Only consistent way of earning with no need of investments methods should be considered.

Trading profits are only for heavenly people and no one can see it in earth. These kind of with out proof statements build wrong examples to make beginners to start trading with big greed. Misguiding claims must be avoided to show right path for novices.
4816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: December 05, 2015, 11:00:11 AM
by gambling, i use soccer betting

bad Methods by gambling, This week I always lose. I hope you dont do too much play gambling, it become addicted and will lose all in the end

Yes, gambling is not method to make grow our hard earned bitcoins. I never suggest anybody to gamble to grow their bitcoins because in my own experience itself I have lost my bitcoins in gambling for greed of doubling it in over night. So, avoid gambling if you want to grow your bitcoins.

Yes Gambling is not a way to make grow our bitcoins.
Lending out or investing in cloud mining or starting bitcoin faucet or bitcoin related service are the ways of making our bitcoin grow over time.

4818  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell now and buy again at $1300. on: December 05, 2015, 10:48:41 AM
That's an interesting approach specially since BTC reached the ~$1000 mark before but the momentum wasn't strong enough and it fell to aroud the hundreds so it's about a 75% loss if someone did that before. I think BTC has potential of hitting that mark again this year because of the increased adoption and publicity but I doubt it will go much higher.

Yes, bitcoin has all the required potential to hit again $1000 levels. Hopefully by the time of halving it will again reach that mark. We can witness the increased adoption of bitcoin compared to 2013, so there are lot of possibilities to a stable price above $1000 once bitcoin prices hit it.
4819  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of the bitcoin will jump again? on: December 05, 2015, 10:45:05 AM
This december i think the price of the bitcoin will jump and reach $500 on this month.
because it's nearly christmas and i think some people sell/exchange his/her bitcoins to use it in christmas.
What do you think guys?

I believe that we will almost stay where we are at the moment or go down a bit (20-30 dollars).
So I can not see why $500 should happen this month. There will be no rally for that imo.
But Q1 next year definitely possible to achieve that. And to wait a few more weeks or months shouldn't be that problem right?
I mean we almost suffered for 2 years.Compared to that a few more weeks should be easy to take. Smiley
If you remember 2013 nov.25 to dec.13 until january the price of the bitcoins rise fast like sky rocket around $600-$900.
I think it will happen again like before And i hope it will happen soon.. just trust and be patience.
Yup dude. People will need money to celebrate the christmas Sure they sell most of bitcoins as I guess. Then Price level will raise for some remarkable value equal to fiat currency rate. Let and hope for magic will happen again.
Yes I'm also expecting those magical moments of relatively high bitcoin prices to celebrate this new year. Last year this kind of surge happened with bitcoin prices. So, I believe there are lot of possibilities for bitcoin prices to go high near December mid weeks.
4820  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have .00000001 bitcoin. Will I be a millionaire by 2046? on: December 05, 2015, 10:39:10 AM
What do you guys think?

I doubt with 1 satoi you can reach be a millionare in 2046
i think $10.000 / 1 bitcoin is reachest rate, and you need $100 to be millionare in 2046

If only one satoshi costs one million in 2046 means, the market of cap of bitcoin must be the multiple of sum of gold and US dollars which is most likely impossible even after another 100 years. So, one satoshi is not enough to be millionaire in 2046 may be one full bitcoin will make people millionaire in 2046.
