Vinfast

502  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: Scam/Phishing Avalaunch Website on: October 23, 2023, 10:23:43 PM
Most of these phishing sites have unpopular domain extensions because on popular domain registrars, you can buy bulk domains at a very cheap price, especially on their anniversary sale, there are domain registrars that have extensions that offer $2 or even lower

The creators are developers and coders and it's easy for them because it's an automated smart contract script, all the victim will do is connect their wallet and they can employ their scheme, it's very easy for them and these hackers' scheme thrives on victims' ignorance.
This means that for around $50, these scammers can create dozens of domains and place their script for the automated smart contract on an HTML template that mimics the basic interface of the original domain for any project or platform. They promote their poor tricks on social media in the hope of trapping a victim with limited experience. And they steal and deplete his wallet assets, which will compensate them for the few dollars it costs them to create their phishing sites.

So, the solution, as mentioned by Hugeblack, is to educate beginners through information and advice adequately. If the protective measures are firmly embedded in their minds, they will be able to avoid any phishing websites they encounter. This is because there are countless phishing sites that cannot be counted.
503  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful were you put your hard earn money on: October 20, 2023, 12:15:35 AM
Honestly, I do not find @OP's post to be discouraging, but instead it gives me a reminder that I should be cautious in every investment I made.  That I should not get easily swayed by these get rich quick schemed offered by any company and don't trust people blindly.  I agree someone might find it discouraging but we should also look at the underlying meaning of these discouragement.

Crypto investment is really risky, in fact it is labeled risk with very high possibility of losses especially when we invest on newly created altcoins.  Only a few cryptocurrency specifically Bitcoin and other highly supported coins that has large community and stable demand that is worth noticing.  Even with these high community projects we should still study the project we are interested to invest with.
The person should invest prudently and carefully choose the projects where he will put his capital and conduct adequate research using his experience and skills. These are necessary things that must be taken into account. There are many good legit currencies that have strong teams with solid foundations. But the market is largely dominated by unreliable shitcoins and scam projects and projects run by irresponsible teams that do reckless things leading to their eventual failure. Therefore, every person must keep abreast of the project’s updates, goals, and related news and invest what he can afford to lose because, as you mentioned, investing in any cryptocurrencies generally involves risks because the crypto market is highly volatile. Still, with the practical management expertise of these risks, experience, skills, and necessary qualities, the investor can face any challenges and protect his capital. Even though Bitcoin is the most secure currency in the market it is unwise to invest in it with hard-earned money blindly and unthinkingly.
504  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ChangeNow.fi = scam on: October 19, 2023, 10:20:52 PM
They have copied the legit site ChangeNow.io
Have reported to google ads + sarek.fi
All links within this phishing website are broken; only the cryptocurrency exchange feature is active. In addition, the phishing domain's age, as per Whois, is only 20 days, while the official domain of ChangeNow.io has been around for six years; by these superficial details and checking and paying attention to the words of the domain and what the domain ends after 'dot' can prevent a person from falling into a scam if this scam phishing domain is sent to him by strangers on Change.io communities or through advertisements that appear in search engines and social media.

Thank you, Op. Now, I will submit the first report and complaint to the domain registrar on my part.
on: October 19, 2023, 08:59:16 PM

507  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User Support@web3devs Scammed 100 Pi coin on: October 18, 2023, 09:36:02 PM
As wrote, PI aren’t mine. My friend decided to sent so I helped him. Decision to sent was made by him.

Edit: Also hope this post could be a real warning about this kind of shit-coin.
It is sad to see unethical people illegally stealing people’s currencies and money. Unfortunately, they are widely spread on the forum and in PI buying and selling groups, and what has allowed them to continue their scams is that the PI coin has not yet been traded on any of the exchange platforms so far, so there is an obstacle for those who hold this shitcoin and wish to sell it after months and years of fake mining. However, a trustworthy escrow service provided by a reliable middleman will solve this issue without the seller entering into deals for Newbies members who have not yet built a reputation on the forum.

Thank you for this warning, and I hope this loss will also be a turning point for your friend to stop wasting his precious time mining and collecting this worthless currency and looking for investment in other good currencies.
508  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide and Advice] New Here? How to Earn and Learn. on: October 18, 2023, 08:25:55 PM
Indeed, it is correct that people who are earning money for some time through bounties and airdrops aren’t motivated to learn skills. But, if we talk about market condition of last 1-2 years, it is bad which has also affected the bounties and airdrops. So what we learned from here is that sometime earning through bounties and airdrops aren’t enough. We might not see good days until mid 2024, and maybe such days come again where market again crashes and making is impossible to make good money through bounties. It is important to come out of comfort zone sometime and learn some skill which are going to be permanent and will help them make some differences.
Thank you for this helpful topic, which will help many members here, especially beginners, who consider bounties and airdrops as their sole source of income. It is worth mentioning that Bounty works, such as social campaigns and airdrops tasks, do not require specific experience or skills at all. The only requirement is to have accounts with a sufficient number of followers and continue to share project posts and promotions in their accounts, forgetting that market conditions may constitute an obstacle for project owners and Bounty managers to cooperate in running marketing campaigns on the forum.

For this reason, bounties, airdrops, and task websites mentioned above, such as Galxe, Taskon, and others, should be a secondary source of income for them, not a primary one. Instead, they should intensify their efforts in learning through reliable sources and accredited courses and acquiring the necessary skills for the fields that customers demand and in which they have an interest and prefer. Through well-known Freelancer sites or any famous platform or forum, they can provide services resulting from the experiences and skills they acquired and put in their time and effort. It is sure that within years, they will have an exciting future with many opportunities to earn money they never dreamed of collecting.
509  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: One of ways to identify scams on: October 18, 2023, 06:46:07 PM
I got it from  a Facebook page advert, funny though as it's made  over 10k likes with 2k comments with larger positive comments. I believe many a lot  of people would have been scammed already
Social media sites ads and Mobile application ads, even AdSense ads in search engines, always contain phishing sites. Even if the Facebook page of this phishing site contains thousands of likes, comments, and reviews, this is not conclusive evidence that they are legitimate because there are many ways to increase all of this to any social account or page with small money. Therefore, to avoid this scam, you should not open any links in the advertisements that appear in front of you. Instead, you can visit the project’s official website and social media accounts. There are great browser add-ons to detect scams, such as Blockfence, the MetaMask wallet, and Joinfire. In addition, through the who.is site, you can find out the age of the domain, and I advise avoiding new and newly created domains. Also, suppose someone opens a site that asks him to connect the wallet exaggeratedly or place a recovery phrase for the wallet. In that case, he can ignore this and conduct research in the first place before making a quick decision.

511  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: Phishing Stake.com Giveaway on: October 17, 2023, 11:23:33 PM
What Happened: Scam/Phishing Stake Giveaway website

Obviously, Stake has been a target, recently we all know that the breached, amounting to a lost of $40 million.

Now hackers are taking advantage again, with this so called giveaways to attract potential vicitims. And even uses the face of Dana White.
A month has passed since this theft incident happened to the Stake platform last September. They have already resumed all their services after the security breach and processed deposits and withdrawals, and the platform has returned without any affected customers. What I see from this phishing site is that it has nothing to do with the previous incident. But it is targeting the Stake communities and attracting casino players to this phishing site to lure them with a considerable sum of money, estimated at $50M, to participate in the giveaway and to securely connect their wallets after seeing the picture of Dana White. Unfortunately, phishing sites are created by fraudsters easily and at a low cost and are widely spread among players and investors. 1 out of 100 may fall into this scheme, so we must report them to the registrars of these domains. Anyway, thanks OP
512  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: Scam/Fake Binance Word of the Day (WOTD) on: October 17, 2023, 09:15:48 PM
What Happened: Scam/Fake Binance Word of the Day (WOTD)
I have seen many Binance users on social media and communication applications who cannot guess the words of the game. Hence, they search for sites that provide the correct guessed words daily or ask for help from strangers to be eligible to win the game after five wins, and so that they become among the participants who will get a reward for a share of 500K Binance Points. Hence, scammers take advantage of their interest in collecting these words and create phishing sites like the one mentioned by the OP.

I do not see that even a game reward with hundreds of thousands of participants would be of great importance and value for these Binance customers to put their accounts and wallets at significant risk.
513  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Smg.ltd - Ponzi scheme on: October 17, 2023, 07:04:42 PM
Can you tell me how to delete this topic? How to resolve the issue of this complaint.
I am not proficient in the Russian language. Still, I think, if I am not mistaken, that what one of the members wrote in the following quote through translation indicates that the Ponzi platform that you shared in the Russian section may have scammed him. His payment hasn't been made even after 10 days, and perhaps there are other members who lost their funds because of What you did, and after that, you closed your domain and ran away with people's funds. And now, after three years, you want to resolve the issue related to the complaint so easily without even offering any compensation or admitting your guilt. Or even provide proof, as Holydarkness mentioned, that the allegations against you are false.

515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? Selling all or not on: October 16, 2023, 11:11:55 PM
Have seen a lot of threads talking about the bull market, and everyone making comments.
I don't think selling all bitcoin in the bull market is a good idea. Why? Knowing the fact that the next bull price will still come as bitcoin continues to grow, so I don't think selling all my bitcoin in the bull market is the best.
Everyone is holdle bitcoin in the bear market and planning to sell in the bull market, now, when finally, the bull market  comes should I sell all my bitcoins and prepare to accumulate from afresh in the next bear market again? or should I keep some percentage to continue the accumulation?
This depends on the strategies and desires of each investor in his investment outlook, his rate of profits, and his ability to be patient and overcome FOMO. Some prefer to sell what they have when the bull market comes because they are satisfied with their profits and fear losing the opportunity in their belief that it will not happen again in the near future. They hope to seize another purchasing opportunity at a low price when the bear market returns. Some sell parts of the amount of Bitcoin they have at intervals during the bull market. They keep a part of the amount for the long term to continue accumulating and remain within the market without selling everything they have and waiting for a higher price to achieve more profits.

Therefore, I believe it is wise for every investor not to wait until the time of entering the bull market to determine his decisions. He must make plans for his investment decisions and rearrange them from now on to what is good and in his interest and meets his desires and goals.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why meme coins are trending? on: October 16, 2023, 10:08:45 PM
Now, I'm on a new adventure with the $Opium meme token. It's the latest coin I added to my crypto collection, and it's looking like it could be the next big thing in the world of meme coins. Just like with $PEPE, $CAL, and $SAFERUM, I see potential in $Opium that goes beyond just being a joke.

Meme tokens started as funny internet stuff, but they are turning into serious business with real communities behind them. $Opium, with its cool idea and excited supporters, seems like it's going to be a standout meme token. It's more than just a joke; it's a movement.
I don't know what you mean by serious business?! These meme coins are launched on a primitive domain that only contains a roadmap and promises by its teams, the token contract, and the method of purchasing it. But if you look at the memecoin team, the whitepaper, or the use cases of the token, you will not find anything.

As for real communities, I assume that these communities that you see were provided with devious methods. These memes were and still were created for jokes and specifically for investors who dream of getting rich quickly, and many of them were turned into shitcoins and scams, as Xal0lex mentioned.

I believe that these meme coins may trend if one of them is lucky enough to have one of the major influencers mention it, or it is possible after the owners of its project carry out massive promotional campaigns for it on social media and its logo is widely used. Therefore, choosing the most promising legit meme coin and getting rich from it depends on luck, given that there are so many currently existing meme coins on the market, and some of them impersonated the names of the official projects. In addition, I have not heard of the $Opium token before, which you mentioned, and perhaps many are like me.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which old coin do you prefer? Litecoin or Dogecoin? on: October 16, 2023, 09:26:30 PM
I would choose Litecoin if the transaction amount is huge as I cannot risk transaction of huge amount at the mercy of an meme coin which can pump to 10x or dump to zero at anytime, I have used Litecoin in the past when they were not many lightening speed transaction options available and I know Doge is cheaper and faster than LTC but as I said if it's higher amount I would go with LTC and if it's smaller transaction I will go ahead with Doge.
Indeed, this is what I would do if I had the desire to choose one of these tokens. The Litcoin project is an old and famous project and has great potential, and even its token transactions take place very quickly and with reasonable fees. In the first place, LTC is not considered a meme coin like DOGE, which is manipulated from time to time and is not highly volatile like it.

It is possible that if someone prefers to choose DOGE to complete a transaction and pay some small fees, he will be surprised after some time that the amount of the completed transaction has decreased significantly and exceeded the amount of fees that he wanted to save in this token. LTC may have slightly more expensive fees, but from my point of view, It is a safe token, and I can put a large amount in it to carry out any transactions and invest it with peace of mind, unlike DOGE or any other meme coins.

519  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: دعم غزة (فلسطين الحرة) on: October 12, 2023, 11:51:57 PM

520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time for bounties and airdrops as we near bull season on: October 12, 2023, 10:28:36 PM
Yes i think this is best time for bounty hunters and airdtop hunters also because we know bull sessions is very near and every crypto currency holdets waiting for bull market when will start bull market than we are all profitable guys so this times for crypto.
In light of the current market conditions, I think that, yes, it is time for both bounty and airdrop hunters to participate and fill their wallets with tokens, but only for honest projects. It requires sufficient time and good experience in research from them instead of randomly participating in scam airdrops and bounties and filling their wallets with valueless tokens that will be dead even if the bull season comes.

While there is no evidence that the bull market is approaching, it will inevitably come one day, and when we are prepared for it, we must invest our effort and time into projects whose tokens we do not regret holding one day in the future. If the person lacks research experience, investing a portion of his funds in top altcoins is a more effective solution.
