501  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling - BUTTERFLY LABS (BFL) 60 GH/s Bitcoin Miner on: August 04, 2015, 02:12:25 AM

You moved it and didn't even make it an auction.

You should simply state what you want for the miner and move on. If you can't decide on a price then either make an actual auction thread or just go to eBay / craigslist / wherever you want. Good luck.

Also, do you accept escrow?
502  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Sfards: SF100-the first 28nm Dual-Mode Miner gets into mass production on: July 24, 2015, 11:36:13 PM
By L1, do you mean the product that Bitmain declined to actually produce? I wouldn't expect them to Sartre their engineering for that project anytime soon. That's even more unlikely than the folks waiting for S2 upgrade, that hasn't arrived.
Doggie made it sound like L1 was produced just never sold to public consumers, there may be a warehouse out there with a ton of of them hashing!
Exactly my stance and problem with Bitmain -- "The for profit company".

Who do they think they are? Trying to make money. As a money making company.
503  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: A2 Terminator Scrypt Miner 90Mh/s w/PSU like Gridseed KNC Titan Zeus on: July 21, 2015, 10:55:50 PM
Interesting. I also requested escrow after finalizing on another post but got no response.

The image above is stock. This seller is likely gone.

Here's a copy and paste of what the links lead to.

I can't paste the entire thing in this forum since it exceeds the 64000 character limit.

How about you 2 take this crap to PM with him since it appears it is being worked on.

please look at the time stamps on the postings, he hasent done anything to resolve this or contacted anyone or paid ... publicly addressing this person in a public forum so everyone can see and understand the issue is the best way in my opinion.
this  problem has been started last year  in December 2014,
and as you see it still is not being resolved.
,

There is a board for this.

He says it is from EU. Please use Escrow with a newer user (this goes for either party).
507  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Give Back Gaw Miners on: July 13, 2015, 02:47:23 AM
This website doesn't seem very legitimate. Has anyone successfully placed an order? Will you use escrow for purchases from this forum?
508  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: selling 2013 hero account on: July 06, 2015, 03:33:44 PM

509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 15kDcr9wDhZmvPufKP7vYyELSoLg4bKbAR <- Has paid well over 250BTC in fees?! on: July 06, 2015, 02:56:05 PM
Take note of the fact that this took place in 2011 - the amount of Bitcoin at the time was ridiculously small.

It could have been an error or some sort of testing of new software that led to this. Either way at the time I'm sure it wasn't seen as a loss.
510  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: S3+ firmware serial fix please help!!! on: July 06, 2015, 12:43:54 PM
Was the reset button (pictured below) able to help in any way?

513  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Looking for a Antminer for under 60 dollars on: July 05, 2015, 03:09:55 PM
if anyone has an antminer they would be willing to sell please post the specs and your price Smiley

A lot of this will be based on your location since shipping will play a role.

I've got assorted Antminers, is there one in particular you want?
514  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Hashra Lunar Lander 30MH/s + Zeus X6 44MH/s + Power supply on: July 05, 2015, 03:02:26 PM
How much are you trying to sell the unit for here? Or is this just another way for you to get the word out about your overpriced eBay posting?
515  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB A2 Terminators or Titan Scrypt Miners on: July 05, 2015, 02:43:17 PM

OMG, will you stop peddling your POS SCAM site already? I see you with a new username every time you are banned. LOSER.

I don't know who you are directing this comment to??

I've been reporting a number of these posts. It's likely that the mods just deleted the post.
516  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S5 - Chain 1 is cold on: July 03, 2015, 08:01:10 PM
Did you ever get this figured out?

I'd be willing to repair this miner for free assuming you cover the shipping costs and don't mind a short wait. I've had a lot of success with Bitmain products and I'm working on an S1 / S2 / S3 frankenrig. Feel free to PM me or let me know here. I live in Raleigh, NC.

I would love to see you post a thread on your frankenrig.

I could load the photos for you  if you don't have an online photo host.

Let me know if you want to do it.

I know the s-5 controller can do 4 boards

I've been considering doing a post near the end of the summer once I've gotten more done.

Thanks for the offer! I'll keep contact.
517  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WLTS] $250 Amazon Gift Code on: July 02, 2015, 08:26:00 PM
for what price could you actually sell this about? also would you provide a signed message? there would be more interested people if you would provide more information

I would like to know the answer to these as well as whether or not you accept escrow.
518  Economy / Digital goods / Re: I am selling .edu emails on: July 02, 2015, 03:44:38 PM
I am giving 10% discount on my combo pack, you will earn $70 guaranteed after 1 hour of your purchased or your money back.

Are you willing to use escrow?
YES.

Will those 70$ come in my paypal/btc or in some website wallet/gift card?
It is a paypal payment.

An escrow would be required to hold the Bitcoin for a purchase for more than 90 days in the event of a refund due to the likelihood of chargebacks. Seems like a hassle.

What are the small miners in the middle? They remind me of gridseeds. I may be interested in buying them just because I don't recognize them.
The 'small miners in the middle' is the modminer of the subject Smiley

The modminer quad is a base board with 4 FPGA modules.  It used to be good-ish for Bitcoin mining (much less power draw than graphics cards) until ASICs hit the market.  Nowadays, it'd be good for just playing with on the Bitcoin side, or reprogram it using whatever FPGA programming you'd like.  Not so good for altcoin mining - graphics cards have gotten much more powerful, aren't as power hungry anymore, many altcoins are outside the capabilities of the FPGAs used, etc.  Would be a fun project to turn it into a vanity miner, though Smiley

Ah, may be why I'd never seen it. Just starting to get into the "older" days of mining hardware. I recently started working with some Klondike boards and it's interesting to me to see how far mining has changed.

dmcurser - Can you give me a price?
