161  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 3000 Avalon 821 with PSU, $2289 and 500 Used Antminer S9 with PSU, $2550 on: February 27, 2018, 12:58:50 AM
Excluding your ETH Miners, you are suggesting you own ~13M (at your valuation) worth of mining equipment.
Do you have any proof of ownership? Or any proof at all? This is a massive amount of equipment to suddenly turn up and that you have available for sale.

Where are you shipping from? Do you cover shipping? Are you willing to use escrow?

This seems extremely risky and potential buyers should use extreme caution when dealing with "rwvkllc" - especially through non-public means outside of this thread.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: pywallet bal check question on: February 26, 2018, 05:43:28 PM
If you watch your command window you will see it update as pywallet is doing the work you requested.

Using --balance=KEY_BALANCE, you have to put the key that you want the balance of, not the actual words KEY_BALANCE.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: pywallet bal check question on: February 26, 2018, 05:29:23 PM
the only reason i ask this is when i run the  pywallet.py --balance=KEY_BALANCE =C:\pywallet\recovered_wallet_123456.dat   it throws a illegal character _ at position 3  - which is the initial command ..

another lame question .. how do i open the bitcoind terminal emulation? Is that just a reference to the console within the client? or is there a specific bat i need to execute?
I have armory or bitcore x64..... should i be using bitcore-qt instead as it as the bitcore-cli and bitcored exes? .... too many choices on platforms lol

Inside your Bitcoin folder where your bitcoin-qt.exe sits, there will be a daemon folder with the bitcoind inside of it. The more friendly way is to use the console like you are describing.

The underscore at position 3 - what are you using in place of KEY_BALANCE?
164  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Innosilicon 3xA4's + A2 on: February 24, 2018, 07:41:13 PM
What are your prices on the A4s? Would you be willing to update the firmware on the un-updated model and test prior to completing the sale?

165  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling from US : In-Hand (currently mining) GPUs on: February 24, 2018, 07:37:08 PM
NO shipping to conflict countries.
Angry
A very bad gesture of discrimination.
*snip*

I can't say it's a sign of discrimination to chose not to ship to a conflict country; I would say it is a risk the seller doesn't want to / or have to assume.

Especially with an escrow situation it leaves a few extra variables in place, no different than when someone says they only want to sell in the US; I don't cry poor me in Canada. At least not out loud  Wink

I'm not crying, just angry. Plus I got a history with op  Wink he has a very vast interpretation of 'conflicting countries' , for instance, once he avoided shipping to Dubai! I believe he means: 'conflicting regions', 'conflicting continents', 'conflicting races', ... Idk.

And I'm against advertising local sales in an international marketplace specially when it comes to crypto ecosystem which is by definition global.

There is not a section for local sales here - the OP is free to put whatever terms he wants on his own sale listing.
Not sure why you are implying someones lack of a desire to ship to certain countries makes their actions discriminatory.
If I said I don't want to ship internationally, does that mean I'm discriminating against all other countries besides my own?

And furthermore how does not wanting to ship a device to a certain country have ANYTHING to do with the "crypto ecosystem which is by definition global"?
Sure, the "crypto ecosystem" is global - go buy any coin you want - but that doesn't mean shipping a device is. There's no connection besides the fact you want to use the hardware for crypto-related purposes.

On Topic:
If the seller gets another 1060 in hand I will happily take both of them. Or if there are other GPUs that you have which I could re-purpose for some workstations please let me know. I'm not interested in mining with them, but as we all know the GPU market has been flipped on its head.

166  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS : In-Hand (currently mining) GPUs on: February 22, 2018, 07:02:35 PM
Any chance you have another 1060? And will you take LTC?
I'm looking to update one of my personal PCs but I don't want to actually commit until I can upgrade to at least 2 cards.

Let me know!
167  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Antminer A3 giveaway [for free to the community] on: February 22, 2018, 07:00:05 PM
1993

Maybe there should be rules in place as well so that brand new accounts whose first post is on this giveaway aren't eligible? Just a thought.
168  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 5x RX 570 ETH/ZEC Custom Open-Air Miner (110mh/s) - USA Shipping @ $3,999 on: February 22, 2018, 06:58:50 PM
I think you'll have a much better chance of getting your price or closer to it on eBay.   The ones sold on here had manuf. warranties I believe also.  Good luck to you!

I don't think you are going to get any bites.  I think most people here are going to spend less and build it themselves.  Someone was selling 570's for 375 each.  Maye try eBay?

Last call @$3,499 + shipping which will be around $20-40. This is a great price for a fully built miner guys. It’s currently fetching around $10/day on Nicehash!

Yep, that’s the plan. If I don’t get anyone interested I’ll be putting it up on eBay for around $3999. I also still have someone interested in trading for some Bitmain miners, but currently I’d prefer to sell over trade. I’ve got proof of hashing power and all components are tested and are all working. All the components are still under manufacturers warranty, so keep that in mind when comparing to other cards you can purchase here. If you’re interested, feel free to PM me =)

Thx again for the feedback and support =) Hopefully I'll be able to find someone here to avoid fees, but if I dont sell by the end of this week I'll most likely move it to ebay.

You should not waste your time and go ahead and post it on eBay. You'll find that buyers here tend to know what they are paying for and if they wanted to overpay, they would go to eBay themselves.
169  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Antminer A3 giveaway [for free to the community] on: February 22, 2018, 06:51:23 PM
1992

I already said that one - I think he should be allowed to guess again Smiley
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I run a full node. Is there a desktop client to connect to this full node? on: February 22, 2018, 01:03:16 AM
I run a full node on my Raspberry Pi at home. I want a desktop wallet that uses this full node. Not interested in using remote-x or xpra or setting up an electrum server.

I'm trying to understand what you mean - do you mean you want your Raspberry Pi to hold all of your blockchain data and your main desktop wallet connect to it (similar to your electrum server you mentioned)?
Maybe explain some more of your use cases and we can provide more information. Smiley
171  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] [EU] 2x Bitmain Antminer R4 8.7Th/s Bitcoin ASIC miner on: February 22, 2018, 12:58:10 AM
Any chance you would ship to the USA?

Yes, no issues with that.
I can ship it as an EMS delivery using the Finnish postal service Posti.
https://www.posti.fi/business/parcels-and-logistics/international-parcels/ems.html

Are you including shipping or buyer pays?
172  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Antminer A3 giveaway [for free to the community] on: February 21, 2018, 10:32:36 PM
Pretty sure its 1992.
Can you have the trusted escrow confirm here? Are you sending them the device so that they can release it?
Wondering if this belongs in another section due to the nature of the post, hopefully someone else can provide guidance.
Good luck to all.
173  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: LOOKING TO BUY - USB Miners on: February 21, 2018, 02:23:23 PM
I have some old gridseed orbs sitting in a box you can have for $5 each + shipping.

Most don't have fans, but i do still have the fans so they can be reinstalled very easily. I also have some retail boxes these.

If the OP can provide more information and is OK with using these miners instead, I will cover the costs of these.
If I miss the conversation here please include me in a PM and we can discuss getting these to him.
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: pywallet bal check question on: February 20, 2018, 06:51:26 PM
Is it possible to take the text dump of a scan and re-import to check for balances etc?
i have 800 entries and dont really want to do it by hand. Any help is appreciated.
thx

If you use pywallet's --web option, there is a box you can check to dump your wallet with balances.
This would be the easiest way to see what you are asking for.
175  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Anon hosting for seed-node? on: February 18, 2018, 07:25:43 PM
2. Depending on what source you are using, these likely can just be IP Addresses.
They can't be IP addresses. The DNS seeders are not servers that you send queries to. Rather you do a DNS lookup for the domain name, and because the DNS seeder is configured to be the nameserver for that domain, it will provide DNS records that are for the domain. However those records don't point to any IP addresses for a server at that domain; rather they point to nodes that you can connect to.

Thanks for the clarification, I was not 100% sure.
You could always do an addnode with the actual IP address though - I've found that to be a useful way of testing nodes with altcoins.
176  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Anon hosting for seed-node? on: February 18, 2018, 04:41:26 PM
1. Any site that provides hosting - you can even provide a seednode on your home PC if you wanted to.

2. Depending on what source you are using, these likely can just be IP Addresses.

Below is a snippet from src/chainparams.cpp for Bitcoin - note that these are again URLs but URLs are pointing to IP Addresses

Code:
// Note that of those which support the service bits prefix, most only support a subset of
        // possible options.
// This is fine at runtime as we'll fall back to using them as a oneshot if they don't support the
// service bits we want, but we should get them updated to support all service bits wanted by any
// release ASAP to avoid it where possible.
        vSeeds.emplace_back("seed.bitcoin.sipa.be"); // Pieter Wuille, only supports x1, x5, x9, and xd
        vSeeds.emplace_back("dnsseed.bluematt.me"); // Matt Corallo, only supports x9
        vSeeds.emplace_back("dnsseed.bitcoin.dashjr.org"); // Luke Dashjr
        vSeeds.emplace_back("seed.bitcoinstats.com"); // Christian Decker, supports x1 - xf
        vSeeds.emplace_back("seed.bitcoin.jonasschnelli.ch"); // Jonas Schnelli, only supports x1, x5, x9, and xd
        vSeeds.emplace_back("seed.btc.petertodd.org"); // Peter Todd, only supports x1, x5, x9, and xd
177  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS 1X D3 with 2 boards on: February 18, 2018, 04:26:06 PM
I did not know you could send only the board. You are right it is hashing at a little under 13, I did not have it hashing. I can hook it up if you are interested. I only have enough power for what I have so I will have to take another offline to connect it.

It would be helpful to see live working stats of the miner - also, are you going to have it repaired or not?
178  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Excellent condition E9+ miner @ less than half price!! on: February 17, 2018, 02:24:33 AM
Bought from Shenzhen, China.

Now shipping from Singapore, SE. Asia.

Whats the shipping estimate both cost/time to the US? East coast.
179  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New Bitcointalk Account price calculator on: February 15, 2018, 03:10:43 PM
We want to implement bitcoin as a payment method in our online shop.
Would that be possible?
Which currency do you recommend?
Can currency conversions be made in different currencies?
Thank you in advance Wink

Hi,

I would be glad to find out more details, we completed similar task recently and currently working on the cryptocurrecy wallet (several currencies).
Please share more details under PMB.

Happy to chat

180  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cryptoexchange robots! on: February 15, 2018, 12:36:49 PM
Give more information about your bot, because that doesn't mean 30 to 100% of earnings per month. He's doing arbitration between exchanges? What is its purpose? Explain publicly and not privately, otherwise it's a scam.

I agree that he should give more information about the bot and explain that information in public.

OP: What do you need the investment for?
