Anyone have a link for what mounting rails/ears? Or specs on what to buy?

Should add meant for Sp30.

I thought they had posted here and said the SP30 WOULD include mounting ears?
I really hope so as they are shipping straight to my hosting center this time and dont want
more down time for them trying to find ears or have to buy another rack.
502  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 25, 2014, 02:18:20 AM
Im just tired of where I see BTC going.
Im selling all my ASICs and exchanging all my BTC locally.
Im calling it a day with BTC, its just not at all what I thought it would be.
Im tired of wasting all day on forums trying to not loose a ton of money being involved with bitcoin.
Too many scams.
Too many pointless panics.
Too many day traders dropping the price for the general public.
I bid this site adios.
503  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 25, 2014, 01:42:26 AM
So this week.....

AlienWare accepts bitcoin.
Baltic Air accepts bitcoin.
Dell accepts bitcoin.

Bitcoin drops around $30 for NO FUCKING REASON WHAT SO EVER.

Maybe everyone dumped their BTC and bought Ether for some stupid reason.
It just makes no damn sense what so ever.

Oh yah, there is a reason, all the idiot sheep lemming traders who trade BTC for no other
reason than its trendy.

I keep seeing articles about the biggest threat to bitcoin...

The biggest threat to bitcoin are this idiot sheep lemming traders who run down the price
on their own panics.

The general public is NEVER going to put large amounts of money into bitcoin
when they see articles about bitcoin dropping 10% overnight for no reason other
than the idiot sheep lemming traders panic or some moron hits the wrong button
and sells 2 million in bitcoin by mistake.

The idiots trading just to trade are going to run bitcoin into the ground and drive away
the general public who we need accepting it when they manage to drop the price 10%
overnight and cause panics.

Don't worry about shipping.  Shippers fly into combat zones unless the airspace is closed.  And even then, they'll move it by truck or sea to a friendly shipping point.  Of course, if they nuke it then all bets are off.

I believe the US FAA just canceled all flights into Isreal today.
Its truely a sad situation in that part of the world and then a plane just shot down as well over Russia.

To all the staff at SP-Tech please stay safe.
My prayers to you and your families.

506  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 2 UNITS OF Spondoolies-Tech SP10 Dawson Bitcoin ASIC Miner - 1.4 TH/s on: July 23, 2014, 05:34:40 AM
Ok I must have just lost all cognative skills if that math adds up.

7 - S3 =  0.725 X 7 = 5.075 plus you need power supplies.  I think 6BTC is a pretty close number for that
to cover all the supplies you will need.  If you want you can say 5.5 or 5.6 to make yourself feel more important.
I honestly think you are going to need 8 of the S3s to compare to the 2.9TH/s I get though, but Ill give you 7.

My price is 5.5 BTC.

SO...  HOW IN THE FUCK do you get 40% higher?
I must have lost all the basic math skills I ever had and am now at a 2 year old math level.

WOW the people on this site, it just never ends.

BTW, from the crap Ive seen posted in the BitMain threads, they can not even TOUCH the level of service and settings
you get compared to the SP-Tech GUI.  Its like trying to compare an Atari to the PS4.
507  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 2 UNITS OF Spondoolies-Tech SP10 Dawson Bitcoin ASIC Miner - 1.4 TH/s on: July 23, 2014, 01:20:47 AM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=671189.msg7975628#msg7975628

Looks pretty bad to me.
People are complaining of high discard and error rates.
Trying to overclock and getting lower speeds.
Rebooting and getting a different speed every time it restarts.

People are complaining of problems and I havent seen BITMAIN post a single
thing there with help.  No new firmware.  Nothing.  So I think you get what you
pay for.

I post with SP-TECH and their tech has helped me personally on skype
and tuned the miners to get the speed you see above.
They released two or three firmware updates in a 2 week period to help us get
better speeds and more options with our miners.
I dont see that with ANY OTHER companys software.

I based my price on the ballpark what it would cost to buy S3s now.
Granted they are slow to ship right now and their performance is LOW.

SO, to say my price should be lower than the S3 when they perform and work
100X better is pretty much a joke.

Price is firm at 5.5 BTC.

No one who has posted here is interested in this sale so if you arent interested go
spam someone elses thread.
508  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 2 UNITS OF Spondoolies-Tech SP10 Dawson Bitcoin ASIC Miner - 1.4 TH/s on: July 23, 2014, 01:12:17 AM
Latest speed at the pool.
Looks like the weekly firmware updates you get from SP-Tech to keep the
miners running at their highest potential is a bit better than the zero level of
support you get with other manufacturers.

The people on the forum posting here are the exact reason Im getting the fk out of
BTC and why the rest of the world is doomed if they have to deal with people like you
in the future.

509  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 2 UNITS OF Spondoolies-Tech SP10 Dawson Bitcoin ASIC Miner - 1.4 TH/s on: July 22, 2014, 11:24:05 PM
From what I see on all the S3 threads, they are way under performing and most people are getting
425 on a good day.  You need at least 7 and 8 if you want to be sure you get 2.8TH/s around the clock.

My miners have been showing as high as 2.9TH/s at Eligius on a good 22min and 3 hour period.

Power usage when you have a set hosting fee is a moot point.
My miners take up 2.5U at a cost of $225 per month.

Most people here are claiming they get free electricity but wont pay a fair price either way
so WTF ever.

Try getting the level of service from Bitmain you do with SP-Tech or the flawless EASY to use
GUI you get with the SP-Tech miners.

You get what you pay for.

Comparing two of the SP-Tech miners to a room full of S3s is like comparing Cuervo with
Platinum Patron.  I dont get the people throwing money at the S3s like its a plague but will
complain my price is too high when its pretty much the SAME price in a much nicer easier to
manage package.
510  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 2 UNITS OF Spondoolies-Tech SP10 Dawson Bitcoin ASIC Miner - 1.4 TH/s on: July 22, 2014, 10:53:36 PM

So then why do I see people here throwing money hand over fist at BitMain NOW for their big bulky
miners.  But then you just come here to spam my thread with no purpose but FUD.
You cant predict the next months difficulty or value in BTC any better than you can predict your girlfriends
mood next week.

What if BTC went to 900 overnight.  I bet your tone would be a little different and people couldnt buy this
fast enough.

This forum is nothing but a big group of panty waste knowitalls.
OMFG

Price is now 5.5BTC
511  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - Best W/GH/s ratio, Best $/GH/s ratio on: July 22, 2014, 07:11:29 AM
YAY.  I was Order #5 in that que Cheesy
Ill take mine on July 31st Please and Thank You Cheesy
Bundle orders (should) be the only ones shipping in July.

The first ones in August are August bundle orders,
farmers choice 3* bundles and
single units purchased,

and then the groupbuy orders according to the 0.1Btc payments.

After that the August 2nd batch which was directly sold through the website.

YES, I know.  I was being facetious.  Or wishful thinking.
One can always hope for Aug 1 Cheesy
512  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 2 UNITS OF Spondoolies-Tech SP10 Dawson Bitcoin ASIC Miner - 1.4 TH/s on: July 22, 2014, 07:06:45 AM
I like to manage them and make sure the pools are always up....
Ensure all is well, that kind of stuff.
I just like to keep a constant eye on them to make sure
they are mining full time.

They have never crashed or died or whatever you are implying.

If I could list and sell one on eBay for $1800 why would I EVER
take that offer.

Saying a lowball BS 1/2 price offer right off the bat at an already reasonable price isn't testing
the waters, its stirring the pot hozer.

Must be that time of the month eh?  I am sorry you must have not ROI on these to be so angry about a simple forum offer.  Ant miners are simple to setup and you can fit 23 in a cheap wire shelf...each take a whopping 5 minutes to configure.  I actually do have free power, but not in a basement of any sorts..and sorry I do have my own home.  eBay prices are irrelevant here so not idea why you posted that.  I do not care what prices dogie is asking since he is euro and I am not.  You also have to pay to ship these units...guessing that is not free.  Anyways I will not bother to make a deal on these since you are highly emotional over these units.  Wink

No I just dont have time for people wanting a free gift because they
think they deserve a goddamn handout or something.

YOU pay shipping from Nebraska if you have to have them.

If I had the time to manage them Id keep them.
Ive got over 60% of my return on WTF ever you wana call it.
I have a new kid, I dont have time for this BTC shit anymore.
Specifically forums and wanabe experts like you on the world.
Congrats, you successfully spammed my thread with your stupid
dice signature.

2.8TH/s with S3s is well over 5BTC
5.5BTC is a fair offer but you want them given to you.
Youve dont nothing but spam my thread and not make one single fair offer so spam away doucher.

515  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 2 UNITS OF Spondoolies-Tech SP10 Dawson Bitcoin ASIC Miner - 1.4 TH/s on: July 22, 2014, 03:20:34 AM
I agree half is a bit steep..but 6.5 is silly

So lets do the math here.....

You will need to order 8 S3s to get anywhere close to this speed.  The S3 is BIG BULKY and is
under performing their specs so you will need to order 8 of them to match this speed.

Then you will need 4 1000W power supplies to run them.

Then you will need shelves and an INSANE amount of space and time to set them up.

Then, will Bitmain personally work with you anytime you need help with them?
Will their programmer personally help you tune them to max speed?
I doubt Bitmain has responded to a single request on why their S3 wont overclock and
why its under speed or help you with firmware or ANYTHING.  SP-Tech will help you
when you email them.

The SP10s are hashing in a server rack NOW.  Please, beat the efficiency you get with that.
AND please try and beat $225 a month to run them BOTH unless you have free power from where
you are probably living in your moms basement.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/sp10-spondoolies-bitcoin-miner-1-4-TH-s-of-mining-power-/151350952040?pt=US_Virtual_Currency&hash=item233d384068

Please tell me how my price is silly.

Ill go 6BTC just for you.

While you are at it, why don't you go tell Dogie too that his price of 3.5 is silly.
I don't see you spamming his thread.
516  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 2 UNITS OF Spondoolies-Tech SP10 Dawson Bitcoin ASIC Miner - 1.4 TH/s on: July 22, 2014, 02:53:01 AM
So you want 2.8TH/s for 3BTC?  Where did you come up with this price?
Oh wait, dice signature... Just getting in your posts for the day right???

The last one on eBay sold for over $2200

Dogie has his ONE listed for 3+ BTC so you want two for that price?
PLEASE tell me how you came up with this price.

This is for TWO SP10 miners.

It would easily cost +6BTC for the equivalent power ordering S3s and power supplies
and would take up 10 times the space.

518  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD]2 UNITS OF Spondoolies-Tech SP10 Dawson Bitcoin ASIC Miner - 1.4 TH/s on: July 22, 2014, 02:38:53 AM
Asking price is 5.5 BTC.
Buyer is responsible for any shipping if you don't keep them hosted in its current co-host location
in Nebraska USA.
Buyer is responsible for any escrow if they feel they require that.

Up for sale are TWO UNITS of SP-10 Dawson Bitcoin Mining ASICs which are CO-HOSTED in the USA.
That is 2.8TH/s of hashing power in under 3U of space!!
You will NOT find a more efficient space saving miner on the market ANYWHERE.
These ASICS are a QUALITY product and in my opinion, the top of bar when it comes to BTC miners on the market!!!

Don't wait around for pre-order ASICS.  These are IN HAND ready to hash to your pool workers TODAY!!

ASICs were used less than 2 months and are in a CO-HOSTED environment.
The first two pictures show the current location of the hosted ASICs.
This means that for $225 per month you can operate these ASICS in a server room with a controlled
environment and no big power bills at home.  Hosting includes TWO public IP Addresses so you can
monitor and configure them from the comfort of home.

After the sale is complete I will send you the address of each miner and its login credentials so you can access
them to start mining to the pool of your choice immediately.

I will then contact the hosting company and have the hosting service turned over to you.

If you want to have the items shipped, you will need to coordinate with the co-hosting manager and cover the
fees to ship for you and cancel the co-hosting.

This is a great situation if you are out of the USA and looking for these ASICs to be up and hashing TODAY.
If you choose to keep them hosted you will not have to worry about high IMPORT fees into your country!!

These ASICS are LOUD and produce alot of warm air when they are operating at full production.
I would suggest that you keep these ASICS hosted as trying to run them at home is NOT an easy feat to accomplish
and will be MUCH more expensive.

ASICS are currently operating in TURBO mode at 1.4TH/s each on 208V power.

You can see the graphs of these ASICs speed in the pictures as well.

I ACCEPT BITCION PAYMENTS via COINBASE

Feel free to message me if you have questions.

ASICs are in PERFECT working condition.  I will not accept returns due to the nature of the items for sale.

Can anyone pm me or tell me rack ears that work with SP10 and are available on amazon or any other site that is located in EU (to have lower cost for shipping)

Thanks
I just went with a shelf instead.
Much easier and this supports 2 of my SP10s with ease.

I got in my watch up a scare attempt, a user I don't know with a V mask sent this:

Hey andro
How u doing?

his number is xxxxxx

EDIT: Maybe I know him, I will investigate some more in case it was a false alarm
False alarm.

Rocket was wrong unfortunately, GoDaddy is irrelevant.

We have some other clues though, the hunt will continue. I have my machines to be analysed by forensic experts, I formatted iMac but TimeMachines have everything!

I gather more people who have lost money like this so we will coordinate our efforts..

klee, is there any clear evidence how the hack was done?
Not yet - biggest chance are either from FB or dropbox.

Tonight I will be not available here, tomorrow I will try to write a thorough report on what happened etc

Ive said this before and this is more evidence to me that people working for DropBox are
accessing cloud files looking for wallet files or text files with BTC related information.
I had a wallet emptied in the past and the ONLY place that existed another copy of that wallet
beside my PC that had been offline for over a week at the time it happened, was on DropBox.
I had forgotten that I made a copy of the wallet unencrypted on DropBox and forgot to move it to my
encrypted TrueCrypt container there.
That was the ONLY place on earth that it existed and I HAD changed my DB password after heartbleed.
I have almost every file on DropBox now in an encrypted TrueCrypt container now.

Im honestly VERY sorry for your loss KLEE.  I wish you luck with recovery of your BTC!!!!
