SO, its hard to explain, need a video inside the home made server cabinet. Ill look for a picture of the rack before I did the sound dampening with foam. SO, the rack is standing in the corner of the room. The AC unit is attached to the wall directly behind and above the SP10s level. It is a two piece AC unit. It has copper pipes that go outside to the pump. The AC has a directional blade to set the air to shoot right into the front of the intake. The hot air is going toward the wall, or in this case, it is a balcony door. If I could open the balcony door, the hot air would go right out, but SOOOOO loud. Outside I could hear them running two blocks down the street with the sound bouncing off buildings the whole way down. I think with the balcony door wide open and the AC unit on full blast in FAN MODE only to save on AC electricity use, it would work fine since the heat would go right out the window that is about 3 feet away. If you could make a piece of AC conduit, and a mounting piece on the back of the sp10 to direct the hot air out the conduit, make some baffling or something, then the heat would go right out the door. Something like this could work well to get the hot air out the door and not leak into the room, and possibly help with the noise outside a little.... Anyone know where to get an AC DUCTING setup like this in the picture....?? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=521520.msg6800182#msg6800182Someone in the SP10 GB page had an idea with AC pipe conduit. I think then you could baffle the sound out the end of the conduit somehow and also direct the hot air out the room and not into the room at all. More efficient if it could work right I THINK.

SP can you please provide a link to some rackmount ears for the SP10?
There are so many options, I just want some that work on the SP10 without going through the trial-and-error of ordering the wrong ones a few times.
PM me if you are worried that it may seem you are "endorsing" a product.
I think someone posted in the SP10 GB thread that Cisco 2950 mounting ears work. I have a pair that I need to see if they line up. If no a couple quick drill holes will fix that problem.

SP 10 A lot of noise? Suitable for a small apartment??
Not really. You might want to find another place to host it. This was my DIY soundproofing / AC cold air containment project. The AC is rated for a large room. Now its cooling about 10 sq feet. Set at 25 degrees I can keep the front air intake at 24 degree. Bottom SP10 about 26 since it picks up some of the heat from above. AC adds very little power useage luckily since it runs VERY efficient for such a small space but WOW, those things PUMP out hot air if you stand behind them. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/26417929/Video%20May%2020%2C%207%2003%2040%20AM.movI just found some cheap rack hosting in the US through a friend of a friend. I did this for the time being. 1 inch foam around the 7 foot rack from floor to ceiling. It has a 220V AC BLASTING into the little self contained closet. NO ventalation because if I open the balcony you can hear it 2 blocks down. Ive got it down to under 25db now I think. Maybe hang a blanket down from the ceiling too would drop it even lower but I can sleep in the room. I did start using one earplug though to sleep easier.

If anyone from Canada is interested, I'm trying to arrange a group discount for hosting SP30s at a data center in Montreal. Electricity price can go as low as $0.09 depending on the volume.
If interested, pm me.
I should open a DC in my basement in Manitoba, I only pay .075 Google the rates in WA state and Minot North Dakota. I think its somewhere around 1.2 - 2C per KW/h

It takes some hours to confirm the payment, you will get another email. (from robot@... or something)
If you chose payment via bitpay, it will only show payment pending when bitpay confirmed full funds arrived.
Thanks for info that's exactly what they said in reply to my e-mail. Get use to it seljo, we are not in "Kansas anymore". Welcome to Spondoolies-Tech where customers are respected with answers to our questions in a timely manor. ~Blaise Oh my... the burn. Ohhhhhh, that was a good / deep burn @BFL

YUP, mine run at 1.45 roughly and have 25 degree input and BAD exhaust. The AC unit is running 24/7 right above it. This is my sound proofing / AC cool air containment project until I can get some cheap hosting in the US with a friend of a friend These things are TOOO loud. I think 80MM fans would work better here, not so loud... Please don't LOL to hard at this... Will try to work on the unboxing video soon. Oh, and here is me GOING IN PERSON to pick up the DHL shipment on Saturday morning because they told me it would take 3 more days to get from the LAST collection warehouse to my house which is only a 45 min drive away, or 1 hour on the train. OMFG DHL sucks!!!

Tip for warm rooms: It seems that the SP10 runs better and more stable at Normal speed than at Turbo. Try it!
Can you be more specific reference "runs better", meaning your getting a higher hash rate? Thank you, ~Blaise Getting 1.45Th/s at Normal speed. With turbo I was reaching 1.50Th/s or 1.52Th/s, but from time to time it slows down at 1.40Th/s. I guess it's from the heat. I really need that 5U rack. I think your numbers are better too because of being in the PRE-May batch. Mine would only run at 1.05 in quiet mode when it was suppose to run at at least 1.2 but would never come close. I had it tuned and its running steady at 1.42 each at tuned TURBO settings by SP-TECH staff. I think at normal Id be lucky to get 1.15 or 1.2 quite honestly with this May batch.

Done, now the only person here with negative feedback for no reason is me. And BTW, I hadnt posted anything new in over a week when you posted there sir. Gee, now Im the one with negative feedback from you and your chronies and I feel wronged. Maybe I should throw a 10 year old temper tantrum like someone here. GULAY!! I hope you can chill out now and quit the 3rd grade name calling. I hoped to have another reason to call out BFL for fraudsters, but now I dont have the chance. Booo ------------------------------------- Back to the real matters at hand here. Got my SP10s up and hashing. Zvisha is EXTRA helpful and helped me tune both of them. Just top notch customer service from SP-Tech from start to anytime you need help. You cant beat their level of service ANYWHERE IMHO!!!

It is. Just use Upgrade firmware and it will update to 1.3.16 even if you don't see it written in the Firmware tab as being available. But feel free to post a picture or e-mail zvisha about this. Maybe he can fix it.
Please email the snapshot to support@spondoolies-tech.com. Thanks. done the upgrade (even it's written 1.2.35) now its 1.3.16 and hashing solid. I'm impressed by the overclocking mechanism. started 15 mns ago, and hashing power is growing up GH per Gh. this is just wow. First screenshot is tricky because I had a lot of error now its very stable (no more error) What overclock settings are you using? Im only getting mine to run at 1.38TH/s each in turbo. Im still getting a few errors but not as high as when they started up initially.

YUP!!! My SP10s just cleared customs. Hopefully delivered today but probably tomorrow since DHL is slower to deliver the last 2 hour drive here than they are the distance from Isreal to Tokyo with previous delivers just coming from China. NO clue how that works. They shipped a small box from HongKong to Tokyo in 8 hours. It took two more days to get to my house after only spending 2 hours in customs. NO CLUE how they operate like that when you pay that kind of money for EXPRESS shipping.

Cristo!! Thats like what, 1700 USD? You could fly there and back with them in your suitcases as "BROKEN PARTS" "FOR REPAIR" for cheaper than that probably DHL called me asking what was in the box since I guess they cant read the waybill that is in English. Its only 80 - 100 USD tax here thankfully. They said oh ok, it will clear customs very quickly and be turned over for delivery now. Lets see if they can do the last 2 hour drive in under 3 days this time. GULAY!

Received my 2 SP10s today, great shipping speed - confirmation shipping email received yesterday - delivery today (I'm in the UK). I have to say that the packaging for these units is FIRST CLASS, obviously custom designed and the SP10 fits like a hand in a glove - so no room for movement whilst in transit. Thick and chunky. Others have said this, but I also was surprised by the weight of these quite obviously well made units. Not that weight is an issue, in fact they feel reassuringly well made and solid. I've only had limited time to play and check through the settings available ... need time to find my way with these. One problem that I've immediately come across is how to set a static IP address. By default the miners are set to use DHCP. After un-checking the 'Use DHCP' box, entering the IP address I want and clicking save ... it doesn't seem to register. Tried it countless times, but I cannot seem to make the setting. Would appreciate any ideas from anyone on this. So Sponds ... 10/10 ... really pleased ... and August SP30s can't come soon enough You are lucky. It looks like from Israel the first hop of my package was Europe so to the UK would be quick. Mine hit Italy - Germany / long layover - Now China / another long layover / waiting its next flight.... Hopefully my package hits the final delivery truck tomorrow morning. I plan to do an un-boxing and initial setup video to post here for anyone who's looking forward to or possibly thinking about ordering anything here from SP-Tech. Funny - DHL really has a weird understanding of geography. Mine first went from Israel to the UK, then to Frankfurt which is only 1 hr flight away from me. But instead, it went now to Leipzig, and who knows where it will go from there... DHL is really hosing these shipments up IMHO. Im not sure why they are having such a hard time lately. They are reliable Ill give them that, but wow they are not being efficient lately. They must have more direct flights they could use for EXPRESS delivery. They need to sort their ish out by August. Mine sat in Leipzig over 12 hours. It sat in China over a day. They quoted to arrive by the 16th but it just left China hours ago. Ill be requesting they refund the shipping charges since they cant deliver to even get into the country yet by the 16th.

All you need is an electrician to either run a new line with 200V from your breaker box or I think alot of lines can be converted to 220 by combining circuits if the wire is big enough. If you have an AC unit there you will want 200V to run it too probably. 200V is better since the amperage use will be lower. I think at 1200W its about 5A on 200V but 10A on 110V. Which should mean if I have this stuff down correct, is you could effectively run more wattage on 200V using the same amperage. Also more efficient on 200V I think. Just call an electrician, they can probably install a 200V line in less than a day. I'm getting a new one run today for the AC unit and ASICs here.

Besides the fact the guy has no integrity to start with posting false trust remarks. Why would any believe he is concerned about fraud? See here: hardhouseinc-- Shipment is with DHL is it Roadstress / Spondoolies Tech? Keen on having DHL as sending it to Norway S2 taking way longer than it should. Held up in customs in Oslo with UPS. Bitmain drop the shipping ball on that or UPS not sure which. Aggg... 5 days in Customs waiting. Not good. I think he posted false trust remarks for the incentive tard Josh Zerlan gave for abusing the trust system. He figured what sort of company is BFL afterwords and he is surely regretting buying from them. Yes shipment is with DHL. @hardhouseinc I am sure that you learned you lesson from this. Next time don't get so easily attracted to free stuff. Its honestly my bad, in more ways than one. I had signed up for an account here like a week before that contest started. I never read much here AT ALL before I bought from them. I saw they shipped stuff already so how long could it take them right? So, I admit, I didnt know ENOUGH about them to have ordered from them. I should have read more here like I have since I saw that contest. Honestly, that contest led me to read more here on BTCTalk. I found out about FTC complaint, Wood Law lawsuit, other good info. SO, in the end, BFL turned me on to the truth with it, so thanks for that. This dude holds a grudge till he dies and obviously doesnt ahve fun with life, just let things go that arent a bid deal, or ever just be a cool dude. I have nothing against him and see why he was targeted here after seeing all his old posts. I honestly wana see what they have to say when none of my entries show up in the contest IF it ever gets produced.... RoadStress turned me onto a GOOD company, AKA SP-Tech when I started reading the BFL bashing threads so win number 2 for getting turned toward reading more here. So far SP-Tech has BFL crushed and destroyed in all departments so count me as a loyal customer here. BTW, sorry to clutter up your thread sir.

I left a few to post on the BFL forums one more time when they don't count my entries, IF they ever do, since they don't like me for all the BFL bashing Ive done here. I think were both on the same side here but you obviously wont ever let anything go even when people APOLOGIZE. My gulay!!

I honestly have no idea how in the world this works. I BUY bids... I assume they are non refundable. You place BIDS, but how much does a BID mean.... I see a BUY bids link but no way to exchange BIDS to BTC or however. To me its really not the best system IMHO. The page looks nice but the system sounds like some sort of shell game scam which makes me MORE hesitant. If the site owned and is selling that item, then it makes more sense but I honestly cant figure this thing out to really be safe at all here. Sorry.

Is there some sort of SAFE and reputable escrow service provided by your site? For example, they have to provide proof of the order transfer by SP-Tech before their funds are released to them? That seems the safest method to me for something of a high dollar value between parties who dont personally know each other.

Is that honestly even trustworthy???
Of course not. Unless he shows proof of payment. Yah, but still... What chance do you have they will even ship it to you after they receive it. Seems unlikely to me. Just seemed shady. Well of course you don't want the customer shipping it to you. You just change the address and SP-Tech ships to you. There is no need to ship it to the owner of the order. True, that would be the best case. IF they held up their end to actually have that done though would remain to be seen. Seems like a too good to be true auction if you won it and a low price.
