501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LIVE|MidasCoin|Backed|New Scrypt PoM|ATM card|Referral|NO IPO|UNIQUE on: September 23, 2014, 05:40:24 PM
Is there another pool for this coin?  The one pool that is setup my ASICs don't like.  They will run for about 10 minutes, then will drop in hashrate and eventually stop all together.  I also noticed the difficulty jumping an awful lot.  It would go from 1600 to 600 to 200 to 1 and the back up almost randomly.  I think this may be causing a problem for my machines.

I am really interested in mining this coin as I believe the value will go up after than the calculator shows.  But as I understand this coin is supposed to be ASIC compatible but not so much with the FURYs.

Any suggestions?  Maybe another pool I can try?  A lot of the time if im having a problem it's usually with how the pool is setup and using a different pool fixes the situation.

Edit: for some reason "maybe but most likely not" keeps getting put after my question about another pool.  So please disregard that.  I really don't know why it keeps showing up in there.

Does anyone else have problems with scrypt ASICs getting stuck on a new block and dropping hashrate at the QBK multipool?  I have 4 1.3 MH/s Fury ASICs.
hi mate I do have a little bit of ASIC on there but im not having that problem at all and there are miners going on and off there all the time , ill send a message to the pool admin and ask him and also are you using the miner suggested on the pool , maybe that will help it , I know there arenalotnof different miners available , but its a suggestion

I am using SG miner.  I know my ASICs are picky about how the pool is setup and which coin they are mining so that may be it also.

The multipool doesn't like my scrypt ASICs.  Hashrate drops to unworkable levels.  Undecided

I do plan on holding onto QBK after bagholders are paid as well.

Ahh okay I must of misread then.

There looks to be a lot of promising stuff going on with this coin.  Have you thought of adding in POBH (Proof Of bag Hold) like what QiBucks has?

Thanks! and no, what would the purpose be? I am not familiar with proof of bag hold.

This is a copy paste from the Qibucks forum.  I don't think my explanation was good enough.  I read about a Bitmark IPO/reverse IPO.  This will allow people to share in the profits from the BitMark IPO.  So almost like a mutual fund.

"All HOLDERS OF QIBUCK COIN that baghold 100 or more coins at the time of the monthly audit will be eligible to receive a dividend bonus from this portion of the incoming revenues. Basically the more coins one bagholds, the larger the dividend bonus will be. This is what will help the price of QIBUCK grow over time as opposed to dwindle, due to lack of interest, dumping and moving on type of coins. Bagholders will be paid in Bitcoin. There are three pools for Bagholders. If you own 100-999 Qibuck coins you are eligible to earn from the MINI bagholder pool. If you own between 1000 and 9999 Qibuck coins you are eligible to earn from both MINI AND MIDI bagholder pools. If you are in the top category of owning 10000 plus Qibuck coins then you will earn from ALL THREE POOLS.
MINI BAGHOLDERS: 20%  - 100-999 QIBUCKS
MIDI BAGHOLDERS: 15%  -  1000-9999 QIBUCKS
MAXI BAGHOLDERS: 15% - 10000 QIBUCKS PLUS"

Disclosure: I do own some QBK but I also believe that POBH would also benefit Bitmark.

This might actually get me using twitter haha.  Do you know what the ICO price will be?  One I know that I'm in.

If a developer can't make a simple website and get the hosting working on or before the scheduled date there is no way im going to have any confidence in the coin.  I forsee people not being able to purchase any ASICs if the store even gets released.  Sorry but this deadline was honestly the biggest thing for me to determine if the dev knows what they are doing.  Clearly this was not thought out far enough in advance.

Where is the BUYcoin center that was supposed to launch today?
thats what the calender says

Yeah.  I hope they get it up today as they have planned.  Also what time zone are the releases in?  I'm in Eastern time zone and if the BuyCoin ASIC shop is going to open on time I want to make sure I know exactly what time it opens.  It does me no good if the shop opens while im asleep only to wake up and find everything is already sold out.

Hashlung isnt working for me either.  My ASICs drop hashrate with the other pools.

Are there any shipping rates listed in BUY?  The devs believe this coin is worth approx 8.13 USD.  So shipping shouldn't be more than 3-4 coins right? And I still would like to know if the devs plan on restocking the ASICs in a timely manner.  Also I think there should be a limit of how many item's can be purchased per person.  We don't want one person buying everything right away.

Also getting GAWMiners and other ASIC stores to accept payments in BUY would be huge for the coin and gain it massive exposure.

Also if you need assistance setting the website up I would be more than happy to help!

Are you going to keep the ASIC store fully stocked or will it be like those other coin stores that sellout within a few minutes and never restock?  Keeping the store stocked IMO is key if you want this coin to succeed.

I am having problems syching the wallet.  Gets stuck on 27 days.  I did update to the newest wallet and I have also deleted the information in the Roaming folder once it started happening.   where is the "wallet-name.bin" file located?

Edit: Found the bin file.  Deleted and im still having issues syncing.
You can download the current blockchain from here: https://mega.co.nz/#!JBxwFJgL!xMusESBFQGWf_aozu1pSd8aVIVdJMO5dEHWIjoVfOKE
You have to put both .dat files from the archive in C:\Users\%user_name%\AppData\Roaming\dashcoin\    (for Windows)
or ~/.dashcoin/   (for Linux and Mac OS X)

Beautiful worked perfectly!  Much appreciated!

New to POS and I see in the OP that it takes 50 confirms for the coins to mature enough for minting.  I made two deposits into my wallet, both now have over 2000 confirmations but the wallet says they are not mature.

No idea what to do.

Also, is there any way to get around this stupid post limitation Bitcointalk has set in place?  My work uses a single gateway IP and multiple people here use this forum.  Because of that I am never able to make a post and it's really frustrating....

I'm wondering if anybody has the same issues as I do. When I try to mine this coin with my Furys I get accepted shares for about 30 seconds then my hashrate starts to drop to unusable levels. Then they get stuck on a block. This happens on all pools. They work with other coins like BitBar. Any ideas?
