Most of us here never believed cryptocurrency will come this far when btc was launched. We would have rubbished any idea to join cryptocurrency at that time.Now some of us are a bit late but we are still better off than those who will inevitably join some years to come.So we have generational thinkers,kudos to those who started the fight earlier and brought the industry this far.
To be honest I didn't really believe in the success of cryptocurrencies a few years ago. It seemed to me that it is much more important to invest in real estate for example than into unclear financial assets. |

this is my own opinion but it may help others.
I have found that all the ICOs i have invested in have launched at almost the ICO price but in a few days dipped below the ICO prices by half or 5X for some.
With this i have discovered its better not to invest in an ICO but wait for the launch and the DIP to buy it at the corrected prices made by market forces.
Its just too hard to tell the real or recommended value of a token in an ICO these days.

After all those ICO projects which are like scam. I don’t believe that ICO has changed. On my mind it is much more important to learn work in modern situation and to have an intuition for choosing right projects. |

Some of investors have the thought like this one: OK, I will just invest some money in this or that ICO, do nothing and get an income that will be very cool. Only lazy people do like this. Traders work hard.

As a newbie, which is the best to do; To invest(earn) or to Learn(for how long)?
On my mind every newbie must start from participating in bounty and airdrop campaigns. It would be good useful experience for beginner I think. Another option is investing into Bitcoin or Ethereum. |

what do you think about altcoin,do you think is the time to buy? am afraid because all my money is heading to zero.. I think the biggest reason that people do not want to invest in crypto is the big price fluctuation continuously. This means that they are likely to suffer a loss as soon as they have completed their purchase. It is such a big risk that the basic reason prevent them to invest in crypto. In addition, some people think that crypto does not bring real value so they do not invest. Even though it's a false thought, it's a pretty big barrier to people who do not know or are not understanded throughtly about crypto.
I don't have any idea why there's people who hate bitcoin, who dp not want to invest in bitcoin but there is only one thing I know and that is they are lack of knowledge about cryptocurrencies and about trading. They are lack of idea what will trading and investment in Cryptocurrency may bring to their life kn future. Yeah you are right, there are many coins which has no credibility and if they do not collect funds they stop their coin and do not pay their investors. All the investments of the people being lost. Hacking is also a problem. These are the problems that people want to be stopped but the controllers do not take any actions about these big problems. Besides the fear to be hacked, they are afraid simply to lose their money. They cannot understand that volatility is not something that is really a bad thing. |

Yes, guys. You provoke the other people to sell their alts and it has a very negative effect on the market: it cannot start rising. Panic is not the best friend of any cryptocurrency trader or an investor.

I think BTC will hit $50k minimum because we will see people start pricing in the next halving into the price, and probably we will see more government intervention in the space, because they are already surprise at the success of the space, I also expect some big projects to fail. I also predict we will see a new project that will likely give BTC a fight for that number on spot
Curious to read it now. The market is volatile, and you should never know if tomorrow will bring you a profit or a loss. Thus, 2018 started with a surprise - BTC started to fall. Hope, it will be gaining a lot again. |

I have seen so many alt coins that were cheaper and I was holding on to ETH thinking it will pave out. I wish i bought altcoins with it as that would got me some profits.

I was watching VERGE xvg recently when it was less than 1 cent. today it is 25 cents. I wish that I had invested in it when My gut instincts was for it.
Did not want to loose the only ether as i lost my Previous eth in Confido scam. Please advise.
Actually, it is up to you. You can hold it and wait when Etherum will grow (it will happen, I am sure of it). You can also make an exchange: get some KICK, NEO, OmiseGo, Stellar, IOTA or other good coins. |

I do not think that you should be so afraid of investing in cryptocurrencies through IСOs. It seems to me that most projects have an uncertain future. But in such field of activity it is necessary to risk.

Add to it KICK and Eidoo. These platforms have future. The coins will certainly grow this year and during 2019-2020. However, Ethereum is #1.

I am supporting Ethereum, and I am absolutely sure that its price will be changed very soon. Certainly I mean the growth. I bet on 1,500 -2,200 dollars per ETH in the end of year! I think price will grown as usually in December. |

I don't think I can do daily trading ,I have got so many things to do every day,I must do my regular job at the office ,also I have to spend some time with my family and kids, also my girfriend demands some attention,so I sometimes can't find a few free munutes to do bounty tasks.((
The trader's life is risky, yes, and a trader, I mean the guy who is seriously involved in this business, spends MUCH time on it. Although I am a part-time trader, I use up to 6 hours daily for these activities. |

I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL.  Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time.  I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community. making decisions in panic will jeve fhelp you and i believe that you should know that and control your emotions Keep holding (or as everybody call is now, HODL) your cryptocurrency not to regret that you made a mistake. The crypto will be growing, no doubt. Just stay very patient and do not rush to get rid of coins. |

Yes I think being a long term trader is not a good choice and I have also chosen to be a short term trader for now, Use the periods when the market turns red to make your profit. Just pick the altcoins that are very promising and invest in these alts. The market will turn green, and you will easily make the profit. |

In order for you not to encounter big losses in crypto trading, you must avoid panic selling because in this situation , our mind is not functioning well and we only trade based on our emotions but not in our knowledge. We must buy at the dip always, buying in the dip is a good idea because the market is bleeding in that sequence, just hold the tokens we buy from the dip and sell it once it backs to it's normal price or even higher.
Those who do not risk do not get a lot. However, if the guy cares much about his nervous system (with no irony here), this strategy (holding) can work the best way. Using it, you will avoid the great losses. |
