501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Push a button and start mining softwares on: February 26, 2021, 02:56:20 PM
Are there any other standalone mining softwares that don't need any big configuration but just press start button and start mining just like Nicehash? Not everyone can config miners lol, I find betterhash and I don't know if it's just like Nicehash, anyone using this software?
mining os is ready to deploy still linux based which is most of ppl dont used to, pre-config mining run fine on current hardware & algo, but most of gpu doesnt always same config that depend on silicon lottery which is hard to implement for pre-config miner
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What are options to mine a profitable crypto on my computer. on: February 26, 2021, 02:52:07 PM
I dont have the financial capacity to mine bitcoin. Is there anything I can mine profitably using my ordinary electronic gadgets like laptop, mobile and related stuff?
try surfing new cpu coin, when the network barely launch thats possible you can mine with laptop, but this rarely happen and hidden away from anyone

for mobile forget it, there is no real mining from mobile, most likely just fake mining
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner-MULTI AMD & CPU Miner 0.6.8 - RX 6500/6800/6900 on: February 25, 2021, 12:15:40 PM
been long time not use this miner, i like the miner api for easy & simple http monitoring, well the development going really well

adding so much new algo in the current moment..is there any idea about infinite cache on new motherboard & rx 6000 series take advantage this new tech

its feel like vega at first time they using compute mode lol, and after couple months than miner full utilize the gpu's
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: my first crypto mining rig, on: February 25, 2021, 11:56:38 AM
Hi guys,

decided on 2x 3070s and 3x 3060 Ti,

total 5x Cards on a single rig (the 3070s are already purchased so cant cancel them now...)

I know the 3060Ti performs the same for 100$ less or so,,,

but what's done is done Smiley

i need some advise now where to get the best risers and what PSU is needed to power those cards??....

am on a server board, CPU, RAM available, is 1200w PSU gonna be enough for those 5x cards ?...

And How to go with installaing nvidia drivers for two different cards on the same OS (Windows and gonna use nicehash for starters...) ??...

thanks,
use 009s with 2 led indicator 3.3v and 12v for easy troubleshouting and for psu antec high current pro platinum 1300w is the best for price and dont use pcie splliter for this psu

just buy another pcie cable if not enough, for driver is the same nvidia so no need additional method to install,
505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: are those risers any good ?!?... on: February 25, 2021, 11:52:13 AM
saw those on amazon:
https://www.amazon.ae/gp/product/B08NTLGCVH/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ASIVCZHZ6WVJN&psc=1

1) are they any good or just cheap junk ??...

2) Currently am still on a normal Desktop running ASUS X99 Deluxe Motherboard, and got 3x 3060Ti(s) sitting doing nothing and another 2x 3070(s) on the way, was wondering if i can start mining immediately on My Desktop using those risers, can it work ? i got 1200w PSU and a single 1080 Ti there and PC running Windows 10 Only !...

thanks,
riser 009s is the latest and most stable one, they had 2 led indicator for 12v and 3.3v for voltage monitor jus in case the riser not proper plug in or dead

more expensive than predecessor, but worth for bucks
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethermine profitability shooting up like crazy! on: February 24, 2021, 11:30:41 AM
Just for reference back in December 2018 my weekly payout on Ethermine peaked at 0.998. I just barely missed making the 1 ETH per week payout. This was with 1.3 GH/S.

Well nice surprise going on now as the ETH price is dropping. All of a sudden my profitability has picked up and I am now estimated to make 1.05 ETH per week! That's with 1.4 GH/S. We'll see if it holds. But I can see the unpaid balance ticking up faster with same amount of shares. Did the pool just get lucky?
yeah pool might get lucky and fee spike with massive transaction defi token on eth, miner got big fees, and many ppl try send eth to exchange for panic selling  Grin , this volatile makes miner got big bonus tips from the network
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New to mining, but I want to learn, newb help? on: February 24, 2021, 11:23:48 AM
*Update*

I have been running nicehash for the past 24hrs or so on and off, seem to avg between 6.8 and 7.1 Mh/s.  Laptop GPU ranges from 51-56c, cooler at night.

When I check my nicehash wallet address 13g6GFPSq3FFQ1SjTD2T9Aov9PPnPnWjs3 it shows my stats, but when I log on to my account on their site, it shows 0 balance and 0 workers... is this because I need to use their wallet address?  What is the difference going one way vs thru my registerd account with them/wallet?

Also, I was targetting picking up a new desktop or building one myself in the next week or two, hoping to get a 3060 or 3060ti, or if a rx5700 came available cheap by some miracle.  Now I read that the 3060's are going to get their hashing value reduced bigtime as per a news release from nvidia today?

I notice nothing is available for sale on the major websites newegg bestbuy etc, should I look into a prebuilt instead?

Thought I found a prebuilt alienware with a 5700 for 1699 cad, and ther are some prebuilt copms with 3060tis for around 1700-1900 cad before taxes... Any tips on buying a desktop or building my own over the next 2 weeks?

Being that I am goingto likely run this rig hard and game on it hard for the next 2-3 years, I am hoping to get mostly quality parts with at least 1yr warranties from reputable companies... but willing to wiggle if the prices are right.
dont use prebuild desktop for mining and is to expensive, my advice using dedicated motherboard for mining, gigabyte b250 fintech, intel g4400, ddr4 8gb, ssd 250gb, psu antec high current pro 1300w, with some riser 009s

and the gpus you can use 2nd vega 56 for cheap 250$ if available
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is this realistic montly income? Newbie needs help on: February 24, 2021, 11:11:56 AM
Hello everybody,

I just started mining with my RTX 3080.
I'm using T-Rex as mining software.
I'm still very new to this and I just started learning and expanding my knowledge about cryptocurrency.

My PC is mining last 26 hours and when I started mining I got monthly income of $66,after few hours that it increased to $230.
Next day (after 20 hours of mining) I check my PC and I saw that my monthly income should be $450!
I'm very new to this and I'm very skeptical I'll earn even close to that amount.
I'm getting around 86-92Mh/s.

Can you tell me is it possible that I can earn $450 with single RTX 3080 if I mine 24/7 for one whole month?
It looks too good to be true.
What amount can I realistically expect by your opinion?
basically this isnt  big as 2017 profit but definetly soon you got more profit as eth gain on price

and dont count a whole month for profit, per-day profit more likely because the next few days doesnt always same
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: how to use integrated graphic card for os and dedicated card for mining ? on: February 23, 2021, 08:22:49 AM
Hello

I just started mining and i use ethereum as Coin and Phoenixminer as miner, windows as os

I saw when mining and working in my computer my hashrate is about 24 to 25 especially when using navigator the gpu is solicited so that lead me to think how can i use my integrated graphic card for os purpose 'i believe it's a intel hd xxx" and left my dedicated gtx 1060 to other purpose, mining or gaming, for now when my dedicated card is plugged then my integrated card is deactivated", a suggestion is to check manual how to use them both IF it's allowed where i did not find what i want.

is there a walktrough for that ? is it good idead to do this ?

Best Regards
one word "dont" if youre expecting profit from IGPU, for learn to mine is doable but a bit different method compared dedicated gpu, and IGPU use ram memory which is not fast enough for mining

just for hobbies & fun it should be fine
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nicehash crazy profit since two hours ago now on: February 23, 2021, 08:18:22 AM
What is going on?   Shocked Shocked Shocked I am mining on nicehash presently and I am making $1 per hour instead of 50 cents per hour, is there anyone experiencing this on other pools? In fact the profits keeps increasing, it's like I'm dreaming 😋😋😋😋
well yeah if youre mining eth there is big spike lately because big transaction happening because ppl panicing to sell their stash, and massive fee goes to the miner, just called it bonus reward for miner lol

eth network and all token holder panic = big bonus for miner
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Great miners in the house, your help is needed! on: February 23, 2021, 08:13:31 AM
Something crazy is going on with my rig, I just find out that my rig is consuming up to 600 watts power, WTF? Is my motherboard faulty or what?  Help!! Here is my configuration

1. CPU 2nd gen i5 non overclock and not using for mining
2. One RX580 undervolt and miner shows 80watts power consumption
3. Two Gtx1660 super at 31mh each, no overclock, @ 81 watts each

That is freaking all, even if my motherboard is eating up to 150 watts what is eating that high watt? OMG 😱😱😱

rx 580 consume around 140-150, and gtx 1660 should around 110-120,, all component with riser should easy go 100w, total around 500w if youre using gold/platinum psu

so 600w there will be some gpu dont apply the config...

advice use wattmeter instead rather than depend on software measurement...
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ok, GPU on the way, any help building the rest of my gaming/mining rig (canada) on: February 22, 2021, 01:57:29 PM
Hey everyone

Was able to order a 5700xt, it should arrive in 3 days or so.

My current gaming desktop is an old i7 930 with a geforce 750ti, I am thinking of buying/building a new system to house the new 5700xt.

Can anyone help with a parts list I can start ordering for a solid build?  Was thinking amd but im flexible, just looking for a solid build.  Alot of the youtube builds are decent but the prices and items they link are all much higher than when the video was made, if anyone has a good build/parts list with current pricing id appreciate it.

I need everything but the GPU.

Id prefer to buy quality parts, of good build that have either a solid warranty or will last me a long time.  At least for the PSU and the motherboard.  The ram, I am hoping to get 2 sticks for dual channel mode.  Other than that my only other preference would be for future upgradeability of the motherboard (ie, i hope to put a 2nd gpu in there someday when prices/availability comes around so a big enough case and mobo for that)

This rig will be mainly for gaming, and will likely run at least 18 hours a day for the next 3 years+

Any and all efforts spent compiling lists will be greatly appreciated!!!!
well flexible build i would prefer ryzen 5000 series with 16gb dual channel 3200 should be good for gaming, B550 or x570 for upgradeability like amd infinite cache for rx6000 gpu series

psu antec high current 1kw platinum should be enough for long run
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Safe overclocking settings? on: February 22, 2021, 01:48:28 PM
Guys I manage to hit 30mh on a rx580 gpu at 2200 memory clock, I just want to ask if the is a safe overclock number for the GPU memory? Is there anyone running on same memory settings?
check hwinfo for memory error and temperature, wait for 72hrs if nothing error and temp under 75 should be good for 2200 and i think this limit for polaris series, yes you can go beyond that depend on sillicon lottery
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 400$ per GTX1660 Ti on: February 22, 2021, 01:45:54 PM
Presently is 400$ per gtx1660 Ti a good buy? Now that no one knows how long mining profitability will keep up, is this a good price to buy or I should let go and wait for later? The offer consist of just three of this graphic cards right now, what do you say?
i would say no for 400$ while you can buy 1080 ti 2nd for that price and better on every algo, even on gaming you can resale later

we are going dive soon and the profit will be normal again, it should affect gpu price for while
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is this safe to run 24/7? on: February 21, 2021, 03:19:56 AM
I just want to know if im doing the right thing, my gpu radeon 580 is running 62°C around the clock, is this a safe temp to run for 24hrs every day? It only reduce in the mid night back to 57°C but when sun is up it goes to 62°c , safe to run 24/7?
Us safe gpu run under 70c even 80c still doable on polaris gpu, 62c is normal and good for long run, check memory temp should under 75 for long run,....
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NVIDIA RTX 3060 Non Ti Earns 6.8$ per day? on: February 21, 2021, 03:15:07 AM
around 8.5$ at this very moment, thats why gpu price going crazy, twice msrp, if you get fair price better to buy it, no doubt about that, you can resale later
or mining instead 2months roi

Did u mean non Ti or the Ti one? do u have a non Ti card? where did u get that figure from and what coin are you mining? because the card isn't released yet
The ti one, non ti that has locked bios for halving the hashrate, so this dont count. Except you're using mobile gpus which is expensive, the hashrate reach 48mhs with low power consumption
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NVIDIA is cutting the 3060's Hash Rate in Half & NEW Mining specific GPU's on: February 20, 2021, 07:41:30 AM
kinda a joke software/driver limiter which land on world of programmer, but atleast there is room to buy when miner worried about it, scalper faster on buying hardware

this will be same story like before, i still buy it at first release, for gaming purpose and mining testing
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto mining is weird at times on: February 19, 2021, 12:50:03 PM
GPUs in one motherboard is more accurate than GPUs on two motherboards, I have 6x gpus on a motherboard and 4x on another and after three days of mining the result isn't accurate as mining calculators said, I always short of 1200 satoshis and I got a new motherboard with 12x pcie slots and put all GPUs on the motherboard and it becomes even a bit better 1360 sats more on my daily earnings, crypto mining is crazy, have anyone seen such before?
first,.... what coin you mining, if eth, no weirds this happen because eth network fees spike lately, either one of your gpus got bigger shareor not, is like got lottery from eth fees not from reward, lottery bonus  Grin
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: When to exit on: February 19, 2021, 12:27:54 PM
When are people planning to stop mining? I see that in June 1559 may be coming. Would that make people stop?
Just out of curiosity. I am not sure when I would stop. Last bear market I continued. Not sure if I could do the same this time.
we got 1.5-2years mining on eth but only problem are asic getting more sopshicated right now, and new gpu has big number

atleast eth getting strong this bullrun side by side with btc, looks like at this btc price corection getting closer, waiting for big dump like 2013
