Hi,

bitcoincloudservices.com stopped my payouts last year (2015) after about 5 months of a one year contract. Definitely scam.

But they still accept new "customers".

Nobody there who wants to make them pay?

BCS is definitely a scam from mid-2014. No one can do anything to these websites until the owner gets fed up paying their server fees, resulting in closing them down.
As you said they are still taking up orders and newbies are the only ones becoming victims of them.

From now on you need to stick to the above list if you do not want to get scammed any further.
502  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Block and Price Announcer [Overlay, Tray Icon] on: January 21, 2016, 05:52:16 PM
I figured out that my program is not resource friendly to your pc. This simple overlay program is using a 100MB of ram if it runs. I hope that is not an issue for you.

Can you optimize it in such a way that it will enter in "sleep mode" in between that 15 minutes interval of notification?
It might help in reducing the RAM usage drastically.

To give a quick update:
I lately had some time to make some progress to the program. It is now displaying currency data and the block number in the overlay window again. I have to work und the update method and on the notifications and maybe a sound.

As i mentioned before i'm not satisfied with the actual overlay window. It's so big and helds not enough information nor is it neat to look at. I might improve the overall visual appearance. Maybe i need some help from you doing so.

Maybe someone is able to create images, that fit the buttons so they look a lot nicer. And maybe a background for the settings window.
This would be very great and you are definitely going to be in the credits.

Although I already like and prefer a simple layout you represented earlier but it would be way more cooler if you customize it as you said. Smiley
For this you might link this thread and create a request in service section asking out creative members to fulfill your wish.

Btw can you add a transparent layout too for visualizing the background apps, in case I am watching a movie and I want to check the price at a glance and does not want to miss out a scene too?

Why does hashnest gets 0/7 listing here?

The first rule here says user selectable pool. As I check my gh/s at hashnest , I can't decide its pool as it seems.

 Hashnest is 1/7 at best.

Actually Hashnest is already considered to have a user selective pool since it already uses their ancillary pool, Antpool for mining via PPS mode. And more miners preferably seem to like Antpool and you can see for yourself from the total network hashrate distribution pie chart. (https://blockchain.info/pools?timespan=24hrs)

That is why Hashnest is approximately rated as 0/7 and along with me most others will also accept the same.
I am ready to change it to 1/7 in the next update if most of them does not agree with me. Smiley
504  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: January 21, 2016, 05:31:45 PM
Although many people is skeptical and scared about the implementation of Bitcoin Classic they are anticipating a huge crash and so they are trying to dump btc for cash and are going stable.

But according to me you should forget all bumps and hurls and should continue hodling coins until the price reaches its peak. (for me its $1000)
Until today I am holding around 1.28BTC without worrying about anything.  Wink
505  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: January 21, 2016, 05:27:19 PM
Is there an advantage to have a new thread each month? Other than keeping the thread short...

It is much easier to check on the applicant of the participants , for keeping track record as well. If the first month signature campaign contain 5 pages of replies and the second month consist of 6 pages of replies and so on then after some months it will be hard for them to check on it someday which is the first or the second month and so on

I doubt this to be the actual reason.
Look at the campaign monitored by Crypto-Games.net. They have started their campaign from June and is pretty much rolling even after 58 pages. Their campaign sheet also contains all the rounds and total btc spent so far.

On the other hand look at the campaign you have joined. It has been started twice because a new manager is accepted and the thread is looking more authentic than the previous one.

So overall there is no such advantage other than keeping the thread short.
506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So the bitcoin classic (2MB) coup was compromised? on: January 21, 2016, 04:28:52 PM
I'm not trying to be antagonistic, but there's a mechanism for handling consensus disputes built into the code.
While I can appreciate that there is a human element, it doesn't mean that changes should be vetoed by any minority that decides it's not on board.

Game theory doesn't support that and Satoshi didn't design it in - this 'nothing should be contentious' property is something that has been described after the fact and it's not an intrinsic quality that Bitcoin displays.

507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Analysis and list of top big blocks shills (XT #REKT ignorers) on: January 21, 2016, 04:09:48 PM
This is gonna be a war between greater-chain-coins vs weaker-chain-coins. And in many people's opinion, mining included, the weaker-chain mining ceases nearly immediately due to the inability for miners to sell mined coins anywhere.

Also people will not feel safer to adopt Bitcoin classic all of a sudden due to a risk of getting them stuck in exchanges with a huge sell wall!
Why cannot we wait for some time to confirm a transaction rather than making a new coin with speedier transaction?  Huh
508  Economy / Gambling / Re: Battlecoin.org - Multiplayer bomberman clone on: January 21, 2016, 03:43:05 PM
Hey ppl, a sad anouncement today, I decided to halt the development of battlecoin and get a dayjob, I'm too poor and website is not earning enough yet, and searching for investors seems like a very slow route. (will keep looking so something might change in the following months, we'll see)

will get back to it, and work on it when I catch time, but won't have the time to work on it full time even though I really love this project.

You might really want to start an IPO for such an awesome game!
I guess many investors will turn up if you can manage the it properly.
It has a strong user-base and I strongly believe it will succeed in future Smiley
Or you can try contacting with MoneyPot and they can help you adding your site into their Global Bankroll so that you earn money when they earn it in overall.

Sad you see you go but you should not sell your site. You have the potential to make it better. You just need the ignition. Smiley

The thing is, I would be more than happy to disclose such information to you via Skype. That's information I would like to reserve for clients. After all, I'm not asking for a 100% payment in advance. Clients can check out my skills, interview me and only then make the decision. I don't think this post is very unreasonable.

That's a positive reply but I will not risk my Skype account for your portfolio. You might not want to ask why after reading this thread > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1317683.0 Also you are an ethical hacker if I am right. Wink

Btw, why don't you pm me here rather than on Skype? Or, create a slack group instead and invite me there?
Moreover the interested ones need to contract an escrow provider for this service since you are accepting an irreversible payment option.
512  Economy / Services / Re: [FOR HIRE] C++ + Java Programmer, Hacker on: January 21, 2016, 06:18:07 AM
Since you are a newbie you should show us your previous work for respective proof of your service.
You might be an ethical hacker but without a portfolio this thread looks pretty much like a joke to me.

8 years of experience is a bit long time isn't it? Roll Eyes
Also show me the respective threads where you have reported the exploits of Facebook?

This is a very bad gesture for Genesis Mining.
Can Marco confirm if this conference really happened?

Also I cannot believe in Garza's tweet (http://archive.is/sgWol#selection-28581.0-28581.25) because he might have photoshopped this image to get Marco into trouble.
But if it happened really, then we need to be cautious regarding Genesis Mining.
514  Economy / Speculation / Re: Some one sent 1300 bitcoins to 1k+ loop address today on: January 18, 2016, 09:51:32 PM
I think they are just spamming the block chain to make everyone suffer with slow transaction confirmation due to larger block size!
...

The current problem with block size is about bytes and spamming is about generating lots of transactions or transactions with very big reprsentation (in bytes). This title refers to blocksize in bitcoins sent.

I think, sending large number of bitcoins in a transaction and sending several minute amounts of transaction is same is the final block size exceeds the appreciable limit.

Moreover he was constantly trying to limit the confirmation speed by sending in his own addresses many times.
This may also decrease the value of Bitcoin Days Destroyed!
515  Economy / Speculation / Re: Some one sent 1300 bitcoins to 1k+ loop address today on: January 18, 2016, 09:24:07 AM
I think they are just spamming the block chain to make everyone suffer with slow transaction confirmation due to larger block size!
Or, they might be just another coin doubler ponzi trying to popularize their scheme via Blockchain.

I will try to find a connection between the transactions through Wallet Explorer and will report the results soon.
516  Economy / Speculation / Re: And so the crash continues... on: January 18, 2016, 09:01:18 AM
Lol! You call a $60 downfall a crash to remember?
I would say this is nothing to get afraid of. Its just a slight bump over the long run due to certain downfall of some scams such as, Cryptsy, Bter, Ore-mine etc.
Just wait till the next halving proceedes through and it will start rising tremendously.

I dont understand why pepole get so anxious over such a small crash that they are making decisions to exchange their preferred currency to a more volatile one!
Good luck to them anyways Wink

Thank you for the swift transaction. Smiley

When I went there, we went to two buildings that Hydro66 own. Tommy hosts his miners with them.
One was their original building where Mining Swedens, miners were at the time. Infact the pictures that Mining Sweden posts on the web are from that same building.
I was met also by a representative of Hydro66 and he asked respectfully that as there were other miners from other companies in the same building not to take pictures incase they included other companies miners in the pictures as well and I can understand their position on that.

I did not mind personally as the pictures that Tommy have already posted were basically just the same as what I saw in the building.

We then went to their new facility which was still being built at the time, which is now finished. We were shown around. Again the hydro66 representative asked for confidentiality reasons not to take pics. If you are being showed around a building, someones private property and they are asking you not to take pics then normally I do not.

On their website now they have pictures of that facility but then it is their discretion on what is allowed or not. Their choice on what to post or not to post.
It is their building, their private property so I respect that.

Okay. I sent an email to Bitmain for validating your statement that Mining Sweden is their customer.
Waiting for their response.

I recently saw their news section (https://www.miningsweden.se/news/) and noticed this video posted. (https://vimeo.com/119996241)
But I do not think they were mining with Spondoolies SP20.
Please clarify if you think I am wrong.

520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: January 17, 2016, 08:32:47 AM
Gambling is a legal "scam" designed to appeal to greed and wrong attitudes. It is far better to work and learn to be content with what you earn rather than spend your money hoping to win the money other have lost.

If you become too desperate for money, or if you just like to gamble for the fun of it, gambling can become another way that money can destroy your life. While some people enjoy gambling for the fun of it, if you take it too far and throw away your life savings, or get yourself in trouble by amassing debts you cannot pay, you risk financial, and potentially even more serious, harm.

That is the reality of gambling. It's not worth your while.
