That makes sense. I usually only write one post at a time and they aren't that big, so a few seconds work fine for me. I just won't miss a single written phrase if I ever close my tab by mistake.

I'll change the default to 60 seconds, which is probably enough for most people. I'll also add a warning on the code so everybody knows that they might override their entire draft if the interval is too low.

That gives me some other ideas, i.e: Having your own local draft that only keeps like the 10 latest copies of the same post. You can do the control of which post is which by providing a custom name/id. That way you can work on 5 different posts and they won't override eachother's (older) drafts.

Ao usar o meu bot do telegram, você pode adicionar o tópico da sua campanha na lista de Tracked Topics e limitar as notificações apenas para posts feitos pelo gerente, assim você é notificado de todo post que ele faz lá.

1. Tracked Topics -> Add new -> Cole o url do tópico.
2. Depois, procure na lista pelo tópico recém adicionado e clique nele.
3. Clique em Whitelist Authors -> Add new -> Escreva o nome do seu gerente.

Está feito! Todo novo post do seu gerente feito lá vai ser notificado. Não precisa se preocupar com gente se candidatando ou spammando, pois você não vai ser notificado disso.

Exatamente. A cada X segundos o post que estás escrevendo vai ser salvo como um rascunho. Se der um F5 ou fechar a página, é só ir lá na página do draft e recuperar a última versão que foi salva, evitando que você tenha que recomeçar a escrita toda do zero.

Your localStorage has a limitation of 5 MB. Every time you have a draft you're saving a post, meaning 1 post every 5 seconds (by default). If it's a big post and/or you're taking too long, that won't last a lot. While it's probably better than the forum's limit, it's not a foolproof solution.

No idea, but I think you need a Greasyfork account then go to Feedback and write a review? There is no need, though.

I could create my own draft implementation where posts would be saved on my server, but I can't see enough demand for that and there may be some downsides like having to trust my server (even though the data isn't too sensitive) and privacy issues (sending requests to my server).

Or I could make it save every post on your local browser. Cons: browser limitations, using too much space, etc...

At this time I don't see the point. If i'm writing a post I only care about its latest version (i.e before I missclicked F5 and refreshed the page) and if you're looking for a deleted post, using the ninjastic.space archive is usually enough.

Right. Changed the code so it only shows the time (i.e "17:56:17 UTC").

There isn't much I can do since the script is stateless, meaning that every time you refresh, reload or navigate to another page the script runs from the beginning again. Maybe I could save the last draft to your browser's localStorage so it persists and checks if it's the same post you were writing before, but I feel like this is a bit too much.

De vez em quando eu estou escrevendo um posto e clico no botão de F5 sem querer, recarregando a página e perdendo todo o meu trabalho. Esse script ajuda a mitigar esse probleminha.

Inspired by libert19's suggestion, I wrote a small script that auto saves your posts to the forum draft every couple of seconds (customizable).

Once upon a time I was writing a middle sized post and missclicked F5, losing the entire thing. This script helps mitigate this dangerous mistake!

Edit the INTERVAL_SECONDS variable at the top with the number of seconds you want your draft to automatically save (default: 60 seconds). If there are no changes on your post since the last draft (this includes pressing the "preview" button), the process is skipped.


P.S: "Drafts are saved whenever you preview or post a topic, post, or PM. Up to 100 drafts are kept. Drafts are deleted after 7 days."

TLDR: OP got a spam email claiming he has 41.90 BTC, but of course he finds out there is a minimum amount to withdrawal, and he's almost there... only 0.02 BTC short... if only he could get a quick loan...!!

They probably use an open source library to generate the QR codes. I wouldn't take away the possibility of an exchange or wallet getting supply-chain attacked like they already have before - meaning, an open source library is hijacked and altered to do stuff it shouldn't do, for example, generating a different address.

To all cases, you should ALWAYS double check the address regardless if you're copy-pasting it or scanning a QR. Double, triple check it... at the beginning, middle and end. Blindly trusting the image on your PC is not an option.

The case so far:

The escrow was for the exchange of 1 USDC for 10.000.000 SHIB.

I check the chat logs, the Contractee has sent 1 USDC on the Polygon network to the escrow contract, which I confirmed onchain.

The Contractor then sent the Contractee 10.000.000 units of a token on the Polygon network of contract 0x61b66853bdefe04dc058774b808163d65a9c947d, which is an ERC20 with the symbol “SHIBA”.

The Contractee contested the idea by claiming that those are not the real SHIB tokens, but a random/fake token with the same name on the contract.

The Contractor isn't collaborative, the contract is disputed.

Thoughts:

• On the contract main details card, the Contractee (buyer) comes first and the Contractor (seller) comes second. When splitting the money, it's the opposite: the Contractor (Seller’s Percentage) comes first and the Contractee (Buyer’s Percentage) comes second. This change of orders and wording can be confusing, which is bad specially when you’re splitting the money, a sensitive action that can cause money losses.
  
  For a moment, I almost did the opposite of what I wanted and sent 99% to the Contractee (buyer) which was trying to scam the Contractor (seller). This would be a disastrous outcome.
  
  
  
  
  Suggestion: Be more consistent with the wording for both parties. I personally still don't like the words Contractee and Contractor as a non-native english speaker. Multiple times I caught myself having to think more than I should to avoid mistaking who's who. "Contractee = buyer = sent the USDC" and "Contractor = seller = sent the fake SHIBA".
  
  I would prefer if the contractee/contractor names would be ditched and the contract creator could choose if he's the buyer or seller.
  

• Hovering the “Seller’s percentage”, “Buyer’s Percentage” or "Agent’s Percentage” information icon on the Splitting Money card shows up a tooltip that blocks the input until the mouse leaves the area. It took me a couple seconds to understand why I couldn’t write on the input.
  
• The reputation page was down at the time of my review. Error “Cannot read properties of null (reading 'toLowerCase')” on line 74 of Profile.tsx: params.id.toLowerCase() !== auth.whoAmI.nickname.toLowerCase())
  
• After the dispute was concluded, I was sent directly to the Contracts page and an error message popped up with the text “Not found”. It would be better to show the final outcome and the previously disputed contracts on my list.
