503  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Hex16 ~7G boards with USB cable - 0.3 BTC - IN HAND on: November 09, 2013, 06:39:07 PM

All my coins atm is 1.81, if you agree to do a 0.04 discount to give 1 router too would be super.

I will figure sth out, there were 3 reputable users here in the forum doing escrow, i will contact them and see if we both agree on this.

the "showstopper" for me is that i cannot find any reference for you as a seller. I dont say you are scammer, but cant trust easily, you understand me i hope

i totally understand you, I would do the same. Let my know if you find someone we both could trust.
504  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Hex16 ~7G boards with USB cable - 0.3 BTC - IN HAND on: November 09, 2013, 06:25:18 PM
mainly depends if I can go to post office in the morning or afternoon..

doesnt matter as long as i will have them the same week (i mean the coming one (11-18 Nov))
can you suggest any other escrow that has history in the forum? or any other way to be done, as it seems John is offline some days now

i forgot your second question, router is extra 0.15btc, and it has proper patched cgminer compiled inside, just set correct IP for router and then enter speed and voltage settings and voila..

I have 4 routers, for me one router runned 6x hex16 boards without any problems, more boards per router and you get errors as it runs out of mem.

for escrow I have used bitmit before, but they are closing down and I don't have any other accounts. if this is the showstopper for you then i don't have any bright ideas right now...
505  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Hex16 ~7G boards with USB cable - 0.3 BTC - IN HAND on: November 09, 2013, 06:14:08 PM
pm'ed

90% chance i will order 3-4 or 5 boards Cheesy

has anyone used this seller before? or we must use escrow(john)?

EDIT:

Placed order for 5 7gh/s boards, waiting for johnk to respond/post if he accepts to be escrow for this
(with payment address (plus his fees if any))

Edit2: Just saw he is offline from 4th of november :/

answer to your PM, yes I give you tracking no, and it takes 3-4 day inside EU, mainly depends if I can go to post office in the morning or afternoon..

508  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Hex16 ~7G boards with USB cable - 0.9 BTC - IN HAND on: November 04, 2013, 10:00:04 PM
price was just updated top 0.75 btc for one + 0.1 shipping no matter how many units. (air shipping is 0.12 btc)

so for 2 pcs: 2 * 0.75 = 1.5btc + 0.12 (air) shipping = 1.62 total.
509  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Hex16 ~7G boards with USB cable - 0.9 BTC - IN HAND on: October 30, 2013, 07:19:02 AM

I'm a little confused as to where I can find my miners income in btc per shift.

You can't currently see the pay per shift. You can see the amount of work per shift at https://bitminter.com/shifts and you can see your pay per block if you go to "my account" -> "transaction history" in the website menu.

I could probably add how much the user has been paid for each shift in the shifts page, though.

Roll Eyes last 24 income would be fantastic...

514  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: [GUIDE] BitFury Miner Support/Tuning on: October 11, 2013, 01:13:49 AM
^you should be getting far less than 10% errors if you updated to the newest chainminer (explained earlier in thread, a few pages back). Before i had 7-12% errors. now its about 2-4%

thanks, will try that
515  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: [GUIDE] BitFury Miner Support/Tuning on: October 11, 2013, 12:59:09 AM
I dont know is it logical or rational, but could not get sleep and got an idea and made some scripts:

1) collect stats

# m h  dom mon dow   command
*/5 * * * * /home/pi/get_stat.sh

Code:
#!/bin/sh

cat /run/shm/.stat.log  | sed -E "s/[[:space:]]+/:/g" | cut -d ":" -f 1,3,4,5,6,7 | head -n 16 >> /home/pi/rw-stat.log
note I'm cutting 1st 16 lines there

then when it has run for some time, made this:

Code:
pi@bitfury ~ $ awk -F':' '{print $1,$4-($6*100/$5/100*$4),$2,$4,$5,$6; }' rw-stat.log | sort -r | uniq -f 3 | uniq -w 2 | sort -n | awk '{ if ( $2 ~ /[0-9]/ ) s+=$2;print $0;} END {printf "total: "s" Ghash/s\n"}'

result:
Code:
1 2.283 55 2.283 145 0
2 2.14944 55 2.177 158 2
3 2.135 55 2.135 169 0
4 2.177 55 2.177 167 0
5 1.97943 55 2.093 129 7
6 1.839 55 1.839 144 0
7 -nan 0 0.000 0 0
8 2.1187 55 2.135 131 1
9 2.315 55 2.315 172 0
10 2.23799 55 2.336 143 6
11 2.209 55 2.209 162 0
12 2.20839 56 2.283 153 5
13 2.072 55 2.072 156 0
14 2.19 55 2.220 148 2
15 2.26272 55 2.357 175 7
16 2.346 55 2.346 180 0
total: 32.5227 Ghash/s

explaning by columns:
1 - chip number
2 - Ghash/sec substracted % of error
3 - chip speed
4 - Ghash/sec from log
5 - Nonces/round
6 - false nonces

Idea was to let autotune to do the tuning for some days and then find the best setting where speed is highest while some errors are allowed. I was thinking that 2Ghash/s with 10% errors is 1.8Ghash/s and it is better that lower speed and 1.7Ghash/sec

maybe someone can get some ideas here or if my sleepy mind was useful (3.51AM at the moment) we can clean up that long and messy shell line.. and format output..

EDIT: added total has sum to the output end (this: 32.5227)

Are ther any heatsinks that use holes on bf board for tight fit?

see 2 posts above?

Yea, but it uses only two middel screws, isn't it?

Replace the 120MM fan with GT1850

not very widely common in EU Sad

hm.. that is not very high airflow (cfm) is that really enough? I would have thought more is needed..

Hmm I think the AP15 moves around 58 CFM. What kind of airflow are you looking at?

sorry, I was thinking of avalon fans while writing this Smiley  anyway I found an interesting fan:

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/11637/fan-745/Aerocool_Shark_Black_Edition_120mm_x_25mm_High_Air_Pressure_Fan.html?tl=g36c15s60

quiet and powerful...
