Do we need to make same optimization for web wallet to improve staking? (make few addresses and split LUX into groups of approximately 100 coins)
If you did it in qt and imported private keys to web wallet so no need to do anything more, staking optimized. Otherwise you need to split it manually. OK, thanks... anyway... I tried to send 100 LUX from primary to my secondary address in web wallet, but transaction is stuck (without confirmation) for 5 hours. What to do now? Can only suggest to wait. Also check your TX in explorer as well https://chainz.cryptoid.info/lux/. Strange... explorer shows 264 LUX balance, but web wallet balance is only 164 LUX. Some visual bug I guess, happens. Relogin should help. May somebody say to me approx profit in a pool with 40 coins? And which one is better? Thanks in advance!
By pool I assuming you mean Shared Masternode service? If so there is some proposals, can check it here https://discord.gg/auBkTax, and each of them have their own rules about number of seats in 1 SMN, payout terms etc, but keep in mind that Lux team not running or support any of them so you need to make your own research and be extremely attentive to whom your coins may go if you decide to participate in. |

I was wondering if with the wallet, you could change the coin control feature so instead of using a send button, you use a separate new button with something like shuffle or redistribute as the name. I (and I'm sure many others) am wary of pressing a send button, just something about it makes me nervous. The "Shuffle" button would only ever transfer within the wallet so I could be confident that the coins will never leave the wallet.
Please pass this on to whoever can consider and potentially action this.

Wow that was a massive update. That block rewards dont change was a unpleasant supprise for Masternodes that earn pennies at the moment. But the important new for Lux itself looks good!  Can rejoice that POW block reward change, 8 lux to miner/2 to MN, will take place at block 300k  Official announce a bit later. POS block reward change will be postponed for a while for a sake of security. |

Thank you for your reply. However this is not what the problem is here. My wallet.dat is perfectly allright, it works and syncs just fine on other PCs (running Win7). The problem is, that my main PC (Windows 10) won't start the QT application at all. As soon as I start lux-qt.exe it very briefly shows a blank window in the size of the start-splash and then closes itself again. This happens with a clean LUX folder in Roaming as well as with a fully synced one, in compatibility mode, in "run-as-administrator"-mode etc. I have no chance of opening the GUI on this PC; all that happens is that it puts the above mentioned lines into debug.log  P.S.: I'm really excited about all the things down the road. Keep up the good work! Sad to hear it, looks like some issue from your side. Anyway can suggest you to check your antivirus exceptions, might be AV soft blocking qt, and you always can use Lux web wallet, its more much comfortable to use compare with qt - no need to run it 24/7 if you staking your coins and be able to login into from any browser that around or even your mobile phone. I downloaded a new wallet v.4.3 - deleted all files in the /Roaming/lux folder but the wallet does not start, here are the logs:

I just got to thinking. We want more miners to move away from bsod. Im on unimining myself. But maybe it would help if you contacted OCminer and he set up Suprnova for LUX?
That is a very good and popular pool which could possibly help. Now we just get spammed with alot of small pools that "no one" has heard about.
He's been contacted almost from project beginning with proposal to list Lux at Suprnova, but for some reason he refused to do it. Think no need to contact again with, Lux has more than enough pools now including biggest ones like Yiimp and Zpool. Where do I find my private key in PC wallet so I can import my wallet in web wallet?
Run qt wallet, go to Instruments - > Console, type command dumpprivkey your_wallet_address It will show you private key of your single address, do it for all your addresses where coins stored. Then just import prv keys to web wallet. how is the new exchanges listing going on? is there a posibility to have one soon or is it taking more effort than thought?

Yes, coins will start to stake automatically after 36 hrs of mature and no need to keep wallet open for successful staking, thats one of the web wallet features.
How many coins needed to have efficient staking procedure, lupanar? I mean stakers can stake at any amount of LUXcoin they have, but they actually need to have a minimum amount of coins to get staking rewards regularly because they have to fight against other stakers to find blocks. Depends what you calling an efficient staking, if you talking about get pos block once a day so you need to have at least 2000 coins in wallet, accordingly get a stake say per week you need to have already close to 300 coins, etc. So in the bottom you'll get a stake no matter how much coins you have, even 1 lux can staking, diifference in how much days it will take. |

Yes, only for mining Luxcoin. Is it possible to get a short summary of how you will make it FPGA resistant as the devlopers of FPGA says it is not possible? I wouldn't believe all the stuff that say fpga or asic manufacturers about their own products tbh. Anyway I believe in our cryptographers headed by tpruvot and sure that they will handle with asics/fpga menace That lux have tpruvot is what makes me believe that you could do it. Still excited he joined the team! Does he work full time on lux btw? (And could not care less about mcafee :p) Dont forget that Yiimp and ccminer need tpruvot's attention as well , so I wouldn't say about full time job though, but while he's a team member participation in Luxcore is not less important than other his work sides. Someone please tell me what are the best configuration for mining LUX in rx580... i got only 15Mhs per card...
