I find it really ironic that cofoundit is being spun off of Iconomi when it seems like they make so many mistakes regarding transparency and honesty.
I have a decent investment and like the fact that this is a real company with a real product but without knowing how close we are to launch I am hesitant to purchase anymore.
If we knew an exact date of launch you wouldn't have this brilliant opportunity to buy so low. Also, iconomi.net/dashboard is what you talking about? Fudders ALWAYS start or finish their "covert" FUD with "Oh but I've invested a large amount". For starters the dashboard isn't available to people who bought tokens from polo. Second I didn't say large. I said decent. You guys are jacked if you think asking about progress is fudding. My investment in waves has gone 6x versus 2.5 x in the same time frame. Waves is rolling out updates to the platform as it is done. Not to mention weekly updates and even an app to keep investors updated on the news regarding it. To think they can't make this available to more than.. What 1000 users at this point, they are fudding themselves. I would scroll through last month's ama to find answers but they didn't answer hardly any of them. Blind faith in the team with a poor track record is foolish. Do I sound angry, yeah! Good to shake out the weak hands and those taking profits.... long term this coin will be the bitcoin killer, not ethereum which can do maybe 16 transactions per second, but this coin, which will be able to do 3000 transactions per second, with the scalability Mijin and Catapult bring to the table. Really that's what the real world is looking for first and foremost.. an application platform can be built on any old coin now since they opened sourced everything... it's one reason I don't think they should open source the entire NEM/Mijin code.... what's the incentive to invest in a coin when any firm can simply copy the coin with no legal repercussions? Your source code is your ability to license it out.. it's your intellectual property.
NEM has something no other coin really has now with Mijin, just like Xtrabytes has it's static node tech.. I don't think either of these coins should just open source this, personally. If you care about return on investment, it's not such a bad thing to have trade secrets...
You make a very valid point about open source and copy cats. Look at Dash and PIVX. The intellectual property value that can be licensed is the real value maker. If I am not mistaken ARDR has a plan to license their protocol to businesses so that can interact on their platform |

I do have one question though - if you lease out your tokens, do you also get distributions for new assets if they are leased out at the time?

The new GUI for the dex and volume. We need more volume and more pairings. I placed my first order on the dex today. It is still a bit clunky on the lite app. But I am not despaired and will take advantage of the down day today to invest some more in waves. This has great potential to gain in value. Each new ICO that used Waves platform gives it great exposure and publicity. Once the new Gui is iimplemented I am confident that the volume will follow |

It is not proper for an ICO to speak about exchanges that they have had communication with. Have you ever heard of an ICO except for those on the wavesplatform to speak of such things ? The last thing we need anyway is someone who plans on dumping their tokens on an exchange as soon as they get them. Supply and demands economics my friend. Even if I intend to buy using BTC for the cofound.it pre-sale, I need an eth address. Anyone got any advice for someone not the most technical who uses iOS via iPad? As per the email received by ICONOMI we are required to submit Public Ether Address to participate in cofound presale. Can anyone tell me how to get public ether address and where to get it from?
Have you set up Myetherwallet ? This is the easiest solution. There are several Youtube videos on how to set it up if you are not familiar. Make sure that you save the json file and back it up. This wallet will be able to hold all Ether based tokens, not just Ether. Test it out by sending a small amount of Iconomi or another token first before sending over your full amount. This address can also be used for any signature campaigns that you are involved with. Set it up once and then just save your public address so you have easy access to it. |

There is a great need for security of all personal records, especially our medical records. Considering the recent ransomware attacks on hospitals I don't think that there could be a better time to launch and ICO . You made a great decision in delaying the launch for a few weeks to get things better organized.
I would like to ask that you please get the slack invite system working better. Please automate the setup. I follow all of my investments on Slack and I think that you are missing out on many people joining because the link to slack doesn't work. Many people are not going to read through the threads to see that a pm is necessary.

Can someone please help me ? I have had the lite client for awhile now and leased my paltry sum of waves. I am trying to figure out the real tokens from the spam. I have 2 deposits called Miner reward, 1 called Wavesgo, and 1 called Waves Community. Are these legit ? I am not even leasing to Wavesgo. I have not received any additional waves from my leasing which has been several weeks now. My # of waves has actually gone down .001 but that may have been because I deposited some BTC, not sure.

Bancor is nothing more than a merger of 2 already existing platforms. First is the ability to seamlessly swap one token for another. This is what shapeshift does and it does it very well. Second you will have the ability to create any tokens you want with ease. This is what the waves platform does. Waves platform is also a dex where the created tokens can be traded. Sorry but Bancor sounds like a loser to me
Surely you can't be serious. You are comparing an internal, automatic swapping mechanism in Bancor with a third party web site (Shapeshift) which is simply a front end to another third party web site (the exchange). Bancor is the ultimate in liquidity, sending your coins to one web site and hoping they can connect to another web site to buy or sell on your behalf is not. How ever this video's exactly the opposite of that, it very off putting, and their is no need to pull in negative attention to dash. But most importantly of all the video is on " Dash - Digital Cash" and this is sort of DASH it's official YouTube channel. Put it on a fan made link and I would have been find with it. "The song is a little cheesy, but the level of the production is very high. I think if people realised how much work can go into a video like this, they wouldn't be so quick to criticise. There are a lot of cool visuals, attractive women... So that's good. If this team keeps making music, something awesome will probably come out of it sooner or later." It's funny. I try to educate friends of mine about why they should invest in Crypto and they laugh, and they doubt, and....they lose.
They wont listen until it's too late. By that time I'll be rich already. It's a shame.
Many of people will come, when we will collect profits. Same thing with me, they were trying to convince me to buy a parcel of land for farming instead. And so I did bought 2 hectares of land which already have coconut and falcata on it which will be harvested in about 5 years. I said that's all I could afford for I will be investing my money to crypto currencies, they all said is a scam  You will be rich and drinking your cocktails out of coconuts with little umbrellas  |
