The whole idea here is to be anonymous. You're anonymous so long as you don't connect your BTC address to a known identity like the profile here in the forum/twitter/facebook/email etc. So, making list for the hackers/scammers/spammer to be after you? Its better to make section without signatures with access to people with member or higher level with no need to proof of anything.

Are there any plagiarism checkers on this board? It is not so difficult to implement one checker bot to check every merited post for plagiarism and if there are hits over 75% similarity to be reported for review.
I have also reported copy/paste profiles to the admins but idk what are the results.

Then I leaned something new. I thought that if you don't post in the 2 weeks time span you loose the activity points for that period, but looks like they are accumulated with the posts even if you do not post for a longer period of time.

You need only 10 merit. It is not impossible. I have already been rewarded with 18 so far. Just contribute to the community in some way and you will be rewarded. There are many services allowing you to share your quality posts with the public and if the are qualified you get merit. Just remember not to spam. This is the whole Idea of the merit system, decrease the spam and increase the post quality. Good luck P.S. just saw that you're Jr. Member with so much activity, strange situation. Better try to contact the admin or write in this group https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0

Yet another great post of people rewarding the newcomers and spending their time on reading. Thank you and keep up the good work. So all those complaining, how they gonna rank up have to put some effort because now they have been given a chance to be rewarded.

Delta! Better than Blockfolio, not so laggy. Just perfect for everyday use. I use it for more than 2 months now. You can set alarms, you get a daily rapports on your profit\loss. Nice and clear interface, easy interaction, user friendly. Supports many exchanges. You can add ICOs, fiat. Great team and support. Here is their ANN thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2260251.0

Just an update. I have a backup plan to my initial proposition in case is not working the way I wanted. Based on the comments here I can agree that nothing can make the bounty mangers to add manually their campaigns. Now I'm working on alternative way of doing the things. The listing for now will not be so detailed as I plan it initially but is still a solution to the problem. Here is my plan in details > - New Bitcointalk user and new gmail address only for bounties and ANN
- Subscribe for the both forum sections Bounty and ANN
- Write a script in Google Apps Script for extracting the data from the subscription emails to a Google SpreadSheet
- Another script to merge both ANN and Bounty links /if there are any/ on the same row as the main topic
- The SpreadSheet will include the Name of the Topic, ANN link and Bounty link plus time stamp.
The result is a list with the last Announcements and Bounties you can scroll and follow the links. Currently I have no so much free time, but as soon as I get more time, will definitely start working on it. What you guys think?

I just sold a small portion on 9K only to buy soon more. I'm HODLer since early July @3.2K$ so no plans to sell at all. If I sell is just to buy more

I don't know if you people have seen this video, but maybe its good idea to check it now. The concerns of putting a middleman (hubs) in the p2p transactions can ruin the whole idea of anonymity and freedom and can be more beneficial for the banking system and give them control over the bitcoin in general. I not sure how credible the source is and if what he says is truth, hope someone with more experience and knowledge can confirm/dismiss it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYHFrf5ci_gPlease check it out and let me know what you think.

I don't think rank should have anything to do with awarding merit points. The award should be based solely on the post quality and relevance. In fact newbies posting the results of a Google search, without understanding the problem, can clog up a decent thread.
Yeah you're right nothing to do with ranking but still I have 1 point to give, its not easy to decide to whom I shall give it, I prefer to give it to someone to whom it will be valuable, like for a newbie, putting effort to learn or trying to help, like this one for example : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2819905And not discourage them by calling all of them shitposters. I hope you get my point. Being a newbie doesn't mean being a 100% spammer, I know that the account farming is a big disease here but between all those fake accounts there are real people joining with interest not only to benefit from the bounty campaigns but to learn and be part of the community and contribute with what they can. Keep in mind that people change by the time and even some shitposters are improving not only because of the merit system but because they gain experience and change their point of view. I apologize for not being word-perfect in English.

Just go everywhere and give them to Newbies/Jr.Members that deserve them. It's pretty hard to rank up now for them.
Yes, I'm doing the same. All the points I receive I'm giving to the newbies in the Beginners and Help section. Well, you have to read a lot but from time to time you find a good one which deserve a reward for the effort. So basically just browse the Altcoin/bitcoin discussion and help section and you will find something for sure. And don't forget reporting spam in the meantime

I have now encountered in real life more people who bought Tron than any other coin. It really surprised me, when I was at a recent financial meeting just how many people had entered crypto since only December, but instead of buying Bitcoin or Ethereum, almost ALL of them had bought Tron. I tried to ask to see if they got the same sources when they entered but apparently most of them did "research" and ended up liking Tron. It makes me wonder what kind of strategy was used. High search results? They must be doing something well in marketing.
I did bought Tron when it was 0.04$ and still holding. The idea was the diversification of my portfolio at the moment and I do buy for long term holding. The same I did with bitcoin, entered when it was 3.4K$ and again on 4.3K$ so I wanted to reinvest the profit. Now things are different. I have learnt a lot since I started trading back in November. Many newbie mistakes that everyona has to make and learn form them but hey, now is the most HODL period form 2013 till now. Lets see what happens when Jan is over. This month has proven to be the worst month for the crypto in particular Bitcon since 2013.

This does not mean that you as a person cannot write posts about ICOs or Bitcoins. The only meaning here is that the annoying crypto ads popping up here and there in the advertisement arias will be replaced with other type of bull# like a "Meet singles in your area" or "Tired of waxing?" etc. This will not have big impact in the cryptoworld, at least from my perspective.

Can I suggest another way of pointing out the spammers? Just add the number of the reported and deleted posts of the user, set a level for a certain amount of deleted posts and you have a working system with minimal effort of implementation. It will increase the work of the moderators for sure, but will keep the forum cleaner.
