I am also buying altcoins. I am searching always for real good projects before investing in altcoins or joining an ICO.
But I am keeping my investments always 50 % in Bitcoin and 50 % in altcoins for a good proportion.

I am sure that it is never too late to buy NEO. They have a great team and vision. And also there will be a lot of ICOs running based on the NEO platform. I expect good news in the next year.


Bittrex or Binance Exchange

I have been invested in both coins. But if I am new in crypto currencies I would choose Ripple. I think Ripple will rise now. They have a lot of partners already and there will be more like recently American Express, Santander, Axis Bank. But also Ethereum will increase much more. If it is possible for you just spread your investments in both coins.

My suggestions for five crypto currencies (besides Bitcoin) to invest in 2018

1. NEO or Waves

2. Ripple

3. Lisk

4. IOTA

5. AEON

I also think that this won't happen. 1 $ is too much high. Perhaps 0,05 $ - 0,10 $ as ATH but this would surprise me also. Even if many said that 2018 would be the year of the dog (chinese zodiac).

IOTA has made recently a foundation for scientific research and documentations for the future payments of machines.
This will be a big influence in the technological future and also a nice marketing instrument.

Lisk and Shift are both very high potential coins. Still now the prices are still cheap.

Lisk new rebrand next year in february will include a new improved platform, new interactive app and new brand identity.
In combination with a strong community support and an active team with Max Kordek this will push up again the price.

Tell you friends and family members to give you this year some Lisk and Shift coins as a christmas present.

I am not sure if SHIFT will become top 10..maybe not but it will gain a nice profit. Don't be sad.. you have now a very promising coin in your portfolio and chance to buy more. In only some weeks they will release a new website and a new roadmap and also the newest version of Phantom. The magic word is HODL.

I would also suggest SHIFT. The other coin would be TRIGGERS. They will release a new roadmap in the next days and with 1500 Coins you will own a masternode.

But honestly never go all in..

First I have had many different coins in my portfolio. But I have reduced my portfolio. It is important to monitor your coins for the price trend, news, updates etc. So with too many coins this will be very difficult to follow new informations of each of them.

I am living in a small town. And before last month almost nobody knew something about Bitcoin. Now every week there is a report about it in the newspaper. And also there are different documentations on TV. The demand already increases and people are getting curious about it.

Bitcoin suprised me too much..

My prediction is that Ripple is on the best way going to 1 $. There are already so many partners.

Axis Bank and Rakbank will start using Ripple to open new ways of payment between UAE, India and Singapore.

I believe that there will be great things in future.

Soon the new website will be released with a new roadmap with future developments and a presentation of the extended team.

In combination with the newest version of Phantom the price will increase much more. SHIFT is an undervalued coin with high potential.

Marketcap and circulating supply is low.

I think you will wish to bought altcoins but the right ones. And always make a proportion for example 60 % in Bitcoin and 40 % in Altcoins..or whatever.
There are so many shitcoins but also few altcoins which will survive the world of crypto after their birth. I only invest in promising projects with future.

I would choose WALTON and MODUM.

The project of MODUM combines IoT sensors with blockchain technology to provide data integrity for transactions of physical products, streamlining supply chain processes in many sectors. They have already a nice working sensor. Really interesting for the pharma industry.

Just another altcoin with a nice future and real usage made in switzerland.

Yes, I think it is still worth to invest in altcoins. But keep a proportion of 60 % Bitcoin and 40 % of altcoins or 70 % to 30 %.

My prediction is only to invest in promising altcoins/projects with a real usage like power ledger, modum, monaco etc. but not in those hundreds of shitcoins.

Maganda at promising ang project ng mga coins na yan with a solid team at community.

Absolutely! It was also for me the worst ICO that I have ever joined. Only got headache from it. The only thing we could do is to hodl and forget it for a while. 35.000$ Volume (24 h). That is a joke.. seems not more to be promising for me right now. But hopefully it will change in future.

If I have now 500$ I would search for a promising ICO with a real usage, good looking roadmap and a solid team. Otherwise I would look to the recently added coins at coinmarketcap and find some informations about them and finally invest in one coin.
