521  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S5 - Chain 1 is cold on: July 02, 2015, 12:49:46 PM
Did you ever get this figured out?

I'd be willing to repair this miner for free assuming you cover the shipping costs and don't mind a short wait. I've had a lot of success with Bitmain products and I'm working on an S1 / S2 / S3 frankenrig. Feel free to PM me or let me know here. I live in Raleigh, NC.
522  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: anyone intrested in a mod miner on: July 02, 2015, 12:39:13 PM
What are the small miners in the middle? They remind me of gridseeds. I may be interested in buying them just because I don't recognize them.
523  Economy / Digital goods / Re: I am selling .edu emails on: July 02, 2015, 12:37:25 PM
I'm ready to take the vouch copy.
One vouch order have been successfully completed and delivered, I am waiting for your honest review.
Thank you.

Vouches should be given to trusted and long time members of this forum. Otherwise (just like the case here) they don't mean anything.
Alright, I will be happy if you can give me a vouch. Just tell me your prefered package single, double or combo pack we can make a deal here.

I believe you are misunderstanding me.

The PM you sent me:
Please order any of my package at 50% discount and give me a vouch.
Thank you in advance.

I'm not interested in buying a .edu email address - I have one that I get to keep. I just want anyone looking to buy your "service" using Bitcoin to be able to make a purchase knowing that your service is what you say it is. As aforementioned a Trusted member here (which does not include myself) would likely review this if you just asked. Either way, good luck.

Does that not have a PSU with it? Or are you just using the link as reference?
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Git not Git'ing on: July 01, 2015, 08:17:41 PM
Greetings!!
First of all...
I'm a newb to pi and raspbian, so please bare with me, but have been running CPU/GPU/cgminer/gridseed 5-chip and am comfortable with it that way. Would like to change from CPU to Pi for the gridseed 5-chip.

I'm trying to add bfgminer to my Raspberry Pi 2 running raspbian.
Everything went well until installing bfgminer.
 When I try to
 git clone git://github.com/luke-jr/bfgminer.git
 I receive Cloning into "bfgminer"...
then it just sits there. Waited for hrs.

I followed the steps found in

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=517451.0

Frustration has set in and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I've tried many different mining images out there for the RPi, but am unable to get any of them to work.

Please help!

Wouldn't it be:

Code:
 git clone http://github.com/luke-jr/bfgminer.git

If it gets stuck in the future just use control+c (control+z? been a while since I was in front of a Linux prompt) or an alternative command to exit it since it clearly shouldn't take hours.
527  Economy / Digital goods / Re: I am selling .edu emails on: July 01, 2015, 08:09:23 PM
I can vouch for noel57, got my edu account and it is working great.
Thank you, hope you like it but you are newbie you cannot vouch.

This is a very true statement.

I'm currently at a University and I'm interested as to how someone would get a legitimate email here without being a student.

Do you have any proof that these emails are both legitimate and safe for the buyer? At the very least can you disclose which reputable University it is?

This is one of those threads that should never have existed here anyway. He just wanted more publicity and had fully planned to sell it on eBay.
529  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: I want to buy a KNCMiner Neptune 3.3T + power supply (min. 2300W) on: June 22, 2015, 10:06:46 PM
You should not try buying/selling with payment types that can be reversed.

Use Bitcoin and escrow. Good luck!

If you are willing to do 20% off then FBA the item. This allows Amazon to act as an escrow (do your research) and most people are comfortable using Amazon as a shopping platform.

If you are determined to sell for Bitcoin then please use escrow.

Update 14/4/15:

Thank you all for waiting so patiently, today we'd like to announce some long awaited specifications for the SF3301!

The SF3301 fully utilizes the advantages of the FD-SOI technology. With increased forward body bias the chip is operational at lower voltages while maintaining a higher frequency. The chip boasts impressive power efficiency while affording high hash power, allowing for much lower wastage per hash. The ASIC’s lowest working voltage is 0.45V, with lowest BTC efficiency at 0.19J/GH, and lowest LTC efficiency at 1.75J/MH. In current market conditions compared to other mining technology, dual-algorithm capabilities can provide a clear advantage.

After strenuous testing of the SF3301, we reached hashrates of 152GH/s for SHA-256 and 3.17MH/s for Scrypt.

This month we will also be releasing a number of documents for the SF3301 as open source including the ASIC Development Board designs.

Next month we will release some design specifications for our debut miner.

Additionally in the near future SFARDS will be selling ASIC development boards and sample chips, making the SF3301 accessible to developers who wish to customize and build their own hardware. SFARDS welcomes any and all developers and communities to build upon our technology and contribute to the mining ecosystem.

Please contact info@sfards.com for more information.

What's the problem with showing your main account and proving you've got what it takes?
534  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Bitcoin Shop acquiring used Spondoolies on: June 14, 2015, 07:08:43 PM
Thanks guys for the follow ups, we are mainly acquiring the miners to fill out our NC facility to its main capacity, we have been expanding the facility and have access to cheap power, in addition as a publicly traded company it is in our best interest to run the facility at it's max capacity to produce highest revenues. If you have Spondoolies farms 50Th or higher send me PM. We won't be acquiring forever  Wink

I live in NC and I'm interested in where this facility is located.

Not a very professional post.

536  Economy / Services / Re: Need developer - build prototype on: June 12, 2015, 08:48:10 PM
Are you willing to disclose more details to this project? It is interesting but seems like a lot of time to commit without more information for anyone who is interested.
537  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a developer on: June 12, 2015, 08:41:44 PM
What are you looking to do with this project?
538  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 11x GAW Fury miners on: June 12, 2015, 08:39:11 PM
How much would you want for all eleven minus the PSUs? (I'll cover cost of a trusted middleman, of course)

How's 145 plus shipping sound?

$145 plus shipping would probably be just as much as the original $200 shipped for everything.  Tongue
How's 150 shipped then?

If he is truly interested, he should take this offer.
539  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Do you have free power have I got a deal for you!! Free power + old gear on: June 12, 2015, 11:34:31 AM
Free power in NC.

I have 2 modded S1's (S3's) and 2 S3's (maybe S3+?) both with 1000W PSU to power each set of 2.

What can we work out here?

If you just need a place to set them and have them run for a while I could do that for about a month?
540  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling my C1 0.8 BTC on: June 12, 2015, 02:08:54 AM
I imagine this is the "present a deal that seems great and then convince the buyer that we don't need escrow since it needs to sell now!" scam attempt.

Anyone considering this deal be sure to use a reputable escrow.
