I am guessing it's about how you work not for how long, perhaps the presenting/targeting issue? Say, you are a house-to-house vacuum seller. Well if you go selling to a poor neighborhood you won't sell anything even if you work all day long. But even if you go selling in a rich neighborhood full of snobbish people that are not interested in that particular brand you are selling (or maybe they just don't like you or the way you are presenting the product) you won't sell a thing either. You just have to present and target appropriately. That would correspond with the "luck" thing alani123 mentioned, i.e. you don't know in advance whether the people you are offering something to will be interested or not. But I am just guessing.

You just advised people to buy a code outside this forum for $13 while that very code is being actively sold in another thread here by a reliable forum member for $6.

That's not really a valid point. Anybody can buy a senior or hero account on here, would it make anything better? I would rather deal with somebody who isn't afraid to start with a newbie account than with somebody who most likely just bought an old senior/hero account.

To be honest I am not really sure what happened here. I've dealt with (Worldwide) multiple times and he always asked me beforehand for a screenshot of my Credits page to make sure he wouldn't sell me a non-stackable code from the same event I've already got. I think it's quite unlikely that he would sell a MLH2015 code for an AWS account where MLH2015 has already been redeemed, so either he didn't ask (which doesn't correspond with my experience with him) or zamaliphe didn't tell or give a screenshot.

But in that case the code would have worked in another (clean) account which zamaliphe claims it didn't. That, again, seems to me very unlikely because that would mean that (Worldwide) sold a non-working code and no seller would do that, knowingly anyway, because then exactly what happened here would happen and no seller would want that. I can also see from the chat screenshot that (Worldwide) offered another code but zamaliphe couldn't keep his cool and basic decent manners.

But he claims the code never worked for him that's why I made him the offer.

Although his screenshot doesn't make any sense. Your code is MLH2015 and he shows a screenshot where he tried to redeem presumably your MLH2015 code in an account where another MLH2015 code was already redeemed. Of course that cannot work, so I don't know what his screenshot is supposed to prove or show. Also, giving a link to some eBay account doesn't prove the ownership but that whole eBay sub-argument is irrelevant anyway as it has nothing to do with this matter.

You didn't get what I meant. I wasn't questioning your method but the usability of the resulting .edu email. Emails from some .edu domains are basically worthless, they cannot be used with any service.

zamaliphe: if you PM me the code I can test it in a clean AWS account and post here the result. I am impartial. If the code happens to work I can send you $7 in BTC, that's a fair price.

Then give the vouch to somebody else. Not all .edu emails are the same, so somebody really needs to test it to confirm it works at least for the most used services. Otherwise it's just throwing $2 away.

Also, by saying it only works if you have no technical skills, you surely didn't mean it literally, like if I do have technical skills the method all of a sudden won't work for me. Both of you are dumb. He is not scamming anyone, I bought a code from him and it's legit and works.

Also, it's definitely not "too good to be true" - they are not cheap, in fact they are rather pricey (unfortunately).
