I did not get paid properly either ethan. Can you recheck and pay me properly?
I am also senior member now but my rank on the spreadsheet for this coming week is still in the full member category.
Can this be changed for this week cause I was senior since the cut off day last week on Saturday. Embarrassed
Thanks to you yolodice manager.

Hi,

sorry about that. I have paid you the difference just now.

Regarding future of this campaign: I want to continue it, but due to campaign manager change please forgive me any mistakes. If you get a wrong amount or your posts are not calculated properly, just let me know, I will try to fix things ASAP.

I will also try to revise the terms (probably will not change much). For the time being, we are not accepting any new members, but I will try to promote you to higher payouts if you rank up in BT.

Cheers,
Ethan

May I ask what is the purpose of zero satoshi bets?

About the progressive jackpot - I think it would be cool if you have multiple progressive jackpots versions designed and allow players to choose what variant they want to use.
It would be absolutely amazing feature to have, that level of customization would be truly next level!

Zero-satoshi bets - players use them to try rolling, learning how things work. Actually my thinking is: when I am on a new site and want to see how it works even without going through the faucet, I try rolling instantly. One thing that discourages me is an instant error: "Amount too small".
Some people roll these bets.

Cheers,
Ethan

Players also uses zero-bets to get a big red streak before they get betting real money. If it works, I dont know but they do it.

That's what I have seen too. Some claim it works for them. Some play really small bets, like a few satoshis for that purpose too, but zero-bets have a huge advantage: they are free :-)

Cheers,
Ethan

For the jackpot - I am thinking something bitsler-style:
- have a jackpot, let's say 1 BTC for start
- you need to hit a certain number, e.g. 777,777 (it's 1/1,000,000 chance)
- how much you win depends on the amount of your bet. bitsler has it: % = 100*amount / 0.005, which means you can get 100% of the jackpot if your bet amount is 0.005 or larger. if it's smaller, you just get a bit of it.

I've looked at some other jackpot systems, this one looks best to me. I might tune some parameters, e.g. change the win chance, change win %. Especially for the "launch promo", the numbers could be more in favor of players.

I am open to other ideas too, I hope it will be fun :-)

Cheers,
Ethan

Hi,

we had trouble contacting m0bliE (our campaign manager) this week and we calculated the payments due ourselves. Here's the spreadsheet:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qnblG1PqtKWGhtup8kf4oXcfU3KauefqFWfNBiXb2dA/edit?usp=sharing

I have just sent the payments too.

The campaign is still active, but I am not accepting new members, at least not this week.

Cheers,
Ethan

You have not counted my posts
I expect an explanation, I will continue to write until the explanation is made.

Hi,

the person I asked to do the "numbers" this week skipped most of your posts as non-constructive, as they were mostly sport-related results, and not original posts.

I will re-calculate your posts and pay you for them. If we change terms that would affect post acceptance criteria, I will let you know in advance.

Cheers,
Ethan

Sorry but to rent a server for betting...faster, isn't a little bit too much?
Or it's something more than that? Idk but the speed is very good on YoloDice, as in other casinos as well.
Why to rent a server, it's not make sence for me... Roll Eyes

A reason is pretty simple: e.g. there are competitions like "number hunt" where players compete to "hit" a certain roll result. Faster bets = you might hit it before others do. It might help with jackpot too.

Other than that, some people just want quick bets to run their strategies.

A quick question: I am collecting ideas about "progressive jackpot" models and trying to design something for YOLOdice. If you have an idea for a jackpot or there is a jackpot that you really like, plase share it!.

Good website, but equations makes me confused  Cheesy
What equations?
If you mean on the betting screen it is just showing you your options on what you are betting on and you can modify them to your liking.
It is very simple to start if you know what dice sites are all about and how to bet on them.

Looks like he is referring  to auto betting! Though there has been a number of simplifications, it is still a puzzle achieving the settings for some strategies as one would have loved to, thus predisposing some players to only play manually. I guess more simplification won't be out of place.

Does Seuntjiesbot also works for YOLODICE?
Yes, my dear Seuntjiesbot is working in Yolodice and i like it because you can bet faster when you use seuntjiesbot. But i think it is depend in our network or connection speed to bet as many in just in one second. Me i can make an 5-6bets for every second that will make. Well because my internet connection is fully high speed and nice

5-6 a second. Wow, thats nice. Does that depends on bet size or is that for all bets?

There is a delay for smaller bets. 99 satoshi and lower get 0.1s delay, 9 and lower have 0.5s delay, and 0 satoshi bets have 2s delay.
Other than that, bet speed only depends how fast you can communicate with the servers, which in turn depends where you connect from and on your connection quality.

If you lived in UK/Ireland, you could get 20 bets per seconds and faster probably.

You could also rent a server in UK/Ireland :-)

Ethan

What kind of equation confuses you. I do have a problem when i am rolling with dice bot,how to verify my bets without downloading a third party verifier ,is it even possible to verify my bets in the website as i could not see that while scanning the site.

Hi,

do you think a web-based verification tool would help?

it was really difficult for me to create an autobetter that would be both simple and elastic. It's still better than the previous one we had before though :-). Maybe pre-defined configs would make things a bit easier. Note there are two simple pre-sets, when you click Load / Save button.

Hi! Although I really hate to say this, I am sorry but I probably cannot send you the payments today. No worries, it's the first thing I do tomorrow after I receive some clarifications from m0gliE.

Yolodice is not even half a year old yet but is doing so well and has an army of promoters. Lol I was a greedy silly fellow and lost some money to them . I guess I'm not much if a gambler. So I decided to invest. Have a look guys the site does well investment returns are decent. I trust them not to run. So if you such at dice try investing. xP or do both even.
They won't be running away. Undecided
The owner Ethan is very active here and willing to answer all and everyone's questions they might have.
Even fixing the faucet when asked to on their live chat box which is a very nice support line for all players and people not knowing how the site works.
Loving the HAL9000 tip bot with his trivia games.
Awesome addition to the site.
Just loving my time there! Grin

Thanks! I am doing my best, although honestly competing with established cassinos is not that easy. I guess we just need to wait to become an "established dice site" ourselves :-) I can only promise you my long-term enthusiasm and patience. It will work :-)

Thank-you to everyone who helped us grow so far: players, investors, affiliate participants, bug-hunters, advisors, mods. You make my work a realy pleasure!

Cheers,
Ethan

BTW: Max bet profit is now over 7 BTC, YD has over 300 BTC in its bankroll due to recent investments. Thanks!

Just a quick reminder - 6 hours till the number hunt competition ends.
https://yolodice.com/#bonus

Although the top-10 will probably not change MUCH, there is still a chance to get there. Cheers and good luck!

537  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice's 2nd Number Hunt! 1 BTC in prizes! 🔶 on: April 07, 2017, 07:04:45 AM
Only 6 hours left... Indeed it's not that easy to get to top-5 anymore... but it's not impossible. I can now see around 40 bets per second, which means there could be around 800k more bets until the competition ends. It's actually pretty probable a bet with "2" or less would appear in these 800k. It only needs meet the min amount criteria...

Cheers and good luck!

Getting some big exposure for Bitcoin Gambling Investing sites with that thread and on other sites I run for sure Smiley

I think YoloDice will grow even more when I interview Ethan and post it here: https://bitcoin-millionaire.com/bitcoin-businesses/

 Wink

I am terrible at interviews or submissions (I've been postponing another one for over 2 months, but finally got it done and printed), but I have almost finished writing the content for your site! :-)

The competition is getting more and more stiff...  Only 2 days left to roll your lowest bets!

It's getting more difficult, but I think the top-10 still can change! Good luck to everyone!

Didn't know yolos been around for that long. Back in August 2016 it was around?
According to this dice investing graph here:
http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1585408

I just heard about it when I join the team for the campaign. Grin
Apparently there was working version of YoloDice back then.
But I didn't hear about it until this thread was created back in November 2016.
Signature Campaign started in mid January 2017 and that was breakthrough in the public awareness.
That is the reason why people think YoloDice is relatively new platform.

YOLOdice launched in November/December 2016 for sure. Look at the graph - the YD plot starts 8 weeks ago. @coingamblingreviews simply updates his first post in the thread with an up-to-date graph.

Or there is something about YD I don't know :-)

Cheers,
Ethan
