Usually it's hard to do with altcoin threads going around in the Beginners subforum. Are they even allowed there?

No.
So reporting them would be the best solution, am I wrong?

Why do I feel so confused right now?
5303  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: March 17, 2014, 08:13:27 PM
Is your response a question or an answer with a question mark?

Once you click this link, you will no longer know the wonderful thing known as free time. You have been warned.

I though ' you have been warned' is to make it sound more cool  but hell it definitely should come with a warning. When i first saw the game i thought i will be going off from this in less then a minute and its been about half and hour iam still playing  Shocked
Told you. Barely beat my score after a few tries. 1540 now.

There's actually a tiny bit of logic to it as well, my new high score is 3064  Smiley
Nice one. Guess I'll have to try to beat it. Anyone up for a competition? Just some honesty please. Post here if you beat the score and your technique.

Thank you for considering this.
But as I said, it is not only about me or about you or about people with at least a little experience. It's about newbies.
We can treat people idiots because of their lack of experience. Myself and a lot of other peoples got ''scammed'' and lost money and time because of the shitty altcoins.
I managed to get some reticent people into cryptocurrency, but after all this bubble of altcoins, especially after the beginning of 2014, they are saying :
" This is all bullshit... this will never succeed... There's nothing serious... Too many coins here and there... Losing hours to investigate and mining worthless coins.........."
In conclusion, this is causing more harm than good. Stop thinking about only you, think about the future ! We can't base a good future with bad reputation, this is as simple as this.
For the implementation, making people pay to announce may be a good idea, but generally, some coins are backed by rich people that will pump it, so 0.2BTC is nothing for them.
But that's still a good idea that will filter a lot of lazy devs and reduce by at least 50% the problem

Tell your friends to ignore the altcoins altogether, and to concentrate on Bitcoin only.

5306  Other / Meta / Re: Why this forum is not mobile friendly at all? on: March 17, 2014, 08:04:18 PM
The design is kind of fine. It just gets really irritating trying to open a thread on a certain page in a new tab. Although that could only be a problem for me I guess.
5307  Other / Meta / Re: 502 BAD GATEWAY on: March 17, 2014, 08:00:39 PM
Happens to me mostly during the evenings (forum hours). Maybe the load on the forums increases and it can't cope with traffic.
5308  Other / Meta / Re: New rules and restrictions on: March 17, 2014, 07:59:17 PM
I strongly disagree. This is a liberal forum, where people can express their opinions, post about their projects without censorship. Regarding scams, the staff have expressed their opinion that the community should police itself to prevent possible abuse.
5309  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: will the bitcoin reach $1000 one day...? on: March 17, 2014, 07:56:04 PM
I personally think that this is the future. Now only 1000$ but i think it will be at least 20 000$ i don't know when but it can happen. I mean everything can happen even 20$ soo good luck and do not keep it all withdraw it when it have good price.

That's all from me
The increase in price, in my opinion, is inevitable. The question that we should be asking is "when?". And unless really terrible news drop, I don't think there will be a significant drop in rate.

The NSA only cares about it's citizens the most. Or maybe THEY hijacked the plane for unknown reasons? Shocked

How can I say "no" in a question?
5312  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: March 17, 2014, 07:44:07 PM
Do you think I know?

5319  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would be your plan in the start of an apocalypse? on: March 17, 2014, 05:20:40 PM
That "in a major city situation" = you're dead... I can't see how you would ever make it out :S.

I guess I would either get shot or forced into a FEMA camp and worked until I die.. Err huh I mean FEMA camps don't exist that's silly..
At least tell what would your short-term plan would be.

Ok... so it's zombie apocalypse. Definitely grab my firearms and join militia which I believe appears very soon, in a matter of hours rather than days. No one should underestimate people's instict to self-organize and to actively defend their homes. Complete chaos and disorder which writers just love to describe in such scenarios is very unlikely to happen IMO.

Of course, going back to the OP's story... officials should make an urgent announcement with detailed explanation what is going on and why is army shooting people --otherwise those soldiers might easily become targets.
The classic scenario of every "infection" apocalypse outbreak is the army trying to contain the epidemic before it's too late. Such haste usually causes panic even amongst government officials. That means a lack of synchronization  between different ranks ending up in the lower rank officers disobeying the orders not to shoot because they think "the whole are must be purged to prevent spreading".

Really don't get the part where you see the army shooting people on the street and then say "there's an hour left until they start shooting".
Read my reply to the previous post (just above your quote).
