Well, the fact that you created it on a non secured computer already makes it unsecure. If you want to create a safe paper wallet refer to this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=17240.0 . You can however use a little different methods, like instead of the bitcoin client mentioned there you can download the Bitaddress site and use the offline version for offline paper wallet generation and print it. Don't quote me on that, however. |

In either case (solo vs pool), the luck factor would be the same, amirite?
Is this statement accurate "I am just as likely to find a block solo mining, as I am in a pool." ?
I understand that the pool rewards everyone trying contributing by sharing out the reward block. And that you could probably go for years solo mining and not see any return. But its equally possible, though improbable, that you could find / solve a block in your first five minutes.
I'll try to explain in a simple manner. Imagine, there's a massive field divided into small parts. When a pool mines, all the pool's miners dig holes in each of the parts. Each person gets it's own part while the pool operator tells you which parts to dig next. The miners dig and dig until one of them finds a block (in this example buried underground). Everyone who contributed to digging in that field gets a certain amount of the block depending the amount of holes they dug (shares). Though some pools have various methods but they all loosely situate around this method. However, if you are mining solo, you are in a different but still massive field, but you are the only one digging. See the difference? |

Idk man I was really high when I thought of this. But it'd work, especially if everyone was riding a motorcycle at the same time.
Gather a lot of soldiers/policemen, position themselves around the city, warn 3 times anyone who's breaking the law, shoot him if he doesn't surrender. Thus your plan is invalid.  I thought of this and there's an easy solution - full speed kamikaze towards the barriers. They can take our bodies out but not our bikes. Then you can respawn and repeat. Not as good as all of us evolving on the conscious level though. Yea...no. I was thinking more of military placed on rooftops or watch towers. Besides that, if an experienced military man armed with a semi automatic rifle with a good scope is stationed in a steady location and backed up by other soldiers, he can take out the driver far enough for the bike to fall and stumble without reaching the barricades. |
