Hello and welcome fellow gamer.
6082  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies don't mine! on: December 22, 2013, 05:04:03 PM
I agree that mining Bitcoin, Litecoin or any other established coin is no longer profitable, but spending a day on something new is worthwhile for a chance of someday increase in value.

So only for early adoption Smiley
Well, if Bitcoin was to start rising again, it might regain its profitability.

But you would make much more if you just bought coins now
Maybe. However if you want a heater as well, you can mine them. Tongue
6083  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why so many altcoins? on: December 22, 2013, 04:29:33 PM
Is there anyone that knows why there are lots of altcoins?

Will they all achieve to go higher?

Nah lots won't come of the ground...
Yeah, many are 51% attacked on the first day. Or are just simply unpractical.

Now, do I believe that such life visits Earth, flies around in UFOs, abducts cows, probes people, but refuses to reveal themselves to us? No, that's retarded.

To be honest, while I think the the cow abductions, crop circles, probes stuff is bullshit, I think the idea that Aliens won't reveal themselves to us is very plausible considering how much shit they must see if they're advanced enough to transport themselves across galaxies.

I quite like the theory that Satoshi Nakamoto is an alien Tongue
So if Satoshi's an alien than Bitcoin is here to educate or destroy us?
6085  Other / Off-topic / Re: Annual I hate Christmas thread on: December 22, 2013, 04:19:52 PM
There is no snow here, so Christmas is canceled if you ask me.
Same here. Only small shoveled and dirty piles left. Maybe it'll snow in the following days, although I doubt it.

6087  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where i can spend bitcoins on: December 22, 2013, 04:17:03 PM
Not many business offline accept BTC. I guess we gotta wait until it goes mainstream. Look around the forums if you need something.
6088  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Pool estimates always exaggerated? on: December 22, 2013, 04:15:27 PM
Pools try to reel you in by showing "tweaked" stats. This way they get more miners.
6089  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New to the game on: December 22, 2013, 04:14:07 PM
Welcome. Don't even ask, nobody ain't donating to a stranger, especially one who hasn't helped them in any way.
6090  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: first post on: December 22, 2013, 04:12:56 PM
Welcome. So many people coming in because of Dogecoin recently.
6091  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about solo mining Xivra on: December 22, 2013, 04:12:17 PM
It means someone else found a block, not you. Mining solo might take billions of years to find a block if you are mining with a laptop.

6094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New doge miner on: December 22, 2013, 04:05:45 PM
Hello. Beware of scammers, they tend to go for newbies.
6095  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie here on: December 22, 2013, 04:04:50 PM
Welcome. Have fun mining. Wink
6096  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why so many altcoins? on: December 22, 2013, 04:04:15 PM
Everyone wants their coin, which they premined, to get successful and for them to become rich. They are usually either copies of Bitcoin or Litecoin with tweaked settings.
6097  Other / Off-topic / Re: I know this comment will go unnoticed but... on: December 22, 2013, 04:00:50 PM
Let's put it this way -  I became the carrot.
Good for you. Maybe someday, you can change into a freaking potato. Cheesy
6098  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I ain't never been no newbie on: December 22, 2013, 03:54:07 PM
I would prefer donating some amount of coin to avoid this five post thing.
Spammers would too if they wanted to fill this forum with crap.
6099  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most convincing arguments against Bitcoin? on: December 22, 2013, 03:52:56 PM
because now we have dogecoin.
How's that a valid argument? Dogecoin is a joke coin.
6100  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wish I had seen the potential in 2009 on: December 22, 2013, 02:39:24 PM
Everyone reading this post is an early adopter. When I got into bitcoin in 2011, people were posting, "I wish I were an early adopter." Now people call me an early adopter. In 2015, people will tell you they wish they were an early adopter, just like you.

This.

Eery year it is the same thing, so you haven't missed the boat!
The value will probably rise 10 times the current one so yeah, no need to worry.
