5321  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Secondstrade.com stole 0.9733BTC [Proofs Inside] on: October 09, 2016, 06:20:22 PM
Post this in their OP, his op is not self moderated one, so feel free to post negative against them, if they want to continue the business, he will pay you. And don't forget leave this site after you have the money

tautvilis did.

We thought like you, but transaction id can be selected.
"Bet Amount above the maximum amount will be refunded after six confirmation." I've sent you 0.9733BTC and that transaction already has over 125 confirmations. Please refund.

And secondstrade posted this:

Our system had a problem for  about 10 hours .
But it was fixed.
We will refund  for the bet of the time.
But  scammer  will not be refunded.
Thank you

But it's unclear who they are referring to.

5323  Other / Meta / Re: Is it just me or has the quality of this forum dropped immensely on: October 09, 2016, 05:25:06 PM
We're in a period of low price volatility. It's all gone a bit boring, forum traffic & increased adoption will improve the quality of the forum, we just need some good news to pump the price.

Just have a bit of patience.
I think it would be the reverse, actually. Do you remember back in 2015 when there were 4-some bubbles and a billion of the same threads about "btc is $n now" or "how high will btc go?" appeared?

Increased adoption will only bring way to more people... with the majority of those becoming spammers.

What it will do, however, is bring in more ad revenue for the forum and potentially help with the new forum software.

5326  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ICONOMI possible scam! unfairly excluded signature participants on: October 09, 2016, 02:41:46 PM
If this was spam then i can say that the campaign manager is blind who accepted me for signature bounty.

That's the stupidest argument I've ever seen. That like stating, "If this was embezzlement then I can say that the chairman is blind for accepting me" or "If this was thievery then I can say that the store owner is blind for employing me".

It's up to you to have your post quality maintained, not the manager. Besides, do you really think that thanking someone needs a post? That saying, "yeah, and we must admit it" is worth anything to the campaign which is advertising?

I don't deny that there are some sleazy things happening with ICONOMI, but don't try to justify your spam.
5327  Other / Meta / Re: How do I post a youtube clip in the forum. on: October 09, 2016, 02:05:49 PM
How do I do this showing the actual clip not just a link?
You can't. It's as simple as that.

I'm not sure if the forum allows [flash] to be used, because you could possibly do that. Most likely it's disabled to prevent spam.
5328  Other / Meta / Re: Why did my account stop giving me post? on: October 09, 2016, 01:59:55 PM

5329  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ICONOMI possible scam! unfairly excluded signature participants on: October 09, 2016, 01:48:13 PM
I am disqualified from signature bounty without having any spam posts. Not only me actually.

No problem dev, we can wait  Grin

I am accepted for signature bounty stake but never paid
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10tRJSuPZ_mak2-mt_5bwtmIXuH4waCVWAmz3zO83cFg/edit#gid=0

They never respond to me while i appeal for recheck if there is some mistakes.Because with the facebook and twitter spammers they also banned the signature participants which is unfair to me.
Even they never respond to this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1640687.0
that's why i open this accusation.
I'll never closed this thread until a final decision come through.there is to many problems with ICONOMI

Though this is a sack of shit: https://archive.is/CHgaU#selection-331.0-335.61

A rule that requires participants to claim within 72 hours is just stupid. It doesn't appear like on the signature campaign spreadsheet that they banned you - rather, that they were going to pay you a small amount of shares.
5330  Economy / Lending / Re: 4$ btc loan on: October 09, 2016, 01:30:10 AM
It takes 7-10 days for withdrawal and I had to withdraw for bills otherwise I would've left it on. And money else where, no.. Having bills and a family things are tight around here.

Yeah, but didn't you say that you would be paid on Monday? Isn't that enough to cover the bills, or is that not the case? It's kind of hard to believe that you would need to use these poker funds for bills, especially considering...

And what's 2+2??

Bwahaha! http://www.twoplustwo.com/ is what you're asking about... You know, probably the #1 result if you search "poker forum" in Google. You don't know about this site? That's kind of hard to believe due to the fact that you rely on poker earnings for your living!

Also, how are you getting paid? Via your job, I assume?

You're funny.
5331  Other / Meta / Re: If I have multiple accounts, whether it will be banned? on: October 09, 2016, 01:19:24 AM
i think yes because multiple accounts are not allowed in this forum, and if you caught accuse you will be certainly banned.

If you had read any of the replies to the OP, including one by a moderator, you would have realized that having multiple accounts is not against the rules of this forum.
Then again, I don't expect you to read my reply as well.  Tongue

Edit: hurain has made 66 posts in the last 2 days, including gems like this

yes there is no doubt about this that trading is some thing unpredictable job.

yes there is no doubt about this that bitcoin is a private property

yes there is no doubt about this,  bitcoin really effect life a lot, it give me a financial support and is really assets me in controlling my expenses.

Yes, there is no doubt about this that hurain is very likely an alt (and a farmed account at that, if you look at their post history from when they started [archive])

Here, I've got some more funny ones!

no i never put all my money in bitcoin.
no i do not hate poor people.
i think you can do trading in exchange.
if you limit your lost then you will really play gambling in a smart way.
yes you should believe on bitcoin.
yes bitcoin is a private property no doubt a bout this .
i personally facing no problem in trading bitcoin.
yes there is no about this
i think it depend on the signatur campaign rules
yes if i become rich i will still continue using bitcoin in my house.
yes you should wait for the proper time to do so.
i think different countries have different idea about bitcoin.
i think only for security reasons.

Wow, hurain, you really like to agree and "think"!
5332  Economy / Lending / Re: 4$ btc loan on: October 09, 2016, 12:50:05 AM
I get paid in two days which is when I'm repaying the loan. And yes I'm a poker player on CarbonPoker and I make close to 500$ a month and have never been down in the past year. I have no worries of loosing the coins and if I just so happen to run into bad luck, which does happen, I can repay when I'm paid on Monday. So yes, I do have a source of repaying the loan and have this well thought out Smiley
Hmm... Why don't you just deposit with the funds you withdrew? If that's not possible, then why not deposit with your own funds? You've said you make $500 a month... You surely must have some money elsewhere. If you're a confident player, take it from your savings. Alternatively, you can wait 2 days and deposit then.

But regardless, why would you withdraw while you still wanted to play? (Just keep the funds in your account... or withdraw a portion of your winnings.)

Plus, if you're good enough, get someone to stake you on 2+2. Not here.

5334  Economy / Services / Re: Want to be a professional poker player? on: October 08, 2016, 10:15:05 PM
I would prefer to see a few things from you:

  • a chart of your winnings (cash game and/or tournament)
  • the books you have read about poker
  • the price of this "service"
  • any statistics you might have relating to poker & your skill

Because right now, all you've given are words. And freerolls? Please... You shouldn't be coaching if you're still playing freerolls and wasting your time (and hence money). I think most regs would probably play paid tournaments... and at larger sites (though I can't say that I know how popular betboo is, though for sure it's not as large as the sites you find if you google "online poker")
5335  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Dragon's Tale: 3+ BTC of Freerolls prizes this month on: October 08, 2016, 08:30:58 PM
Guys this freerolls is still active? i would like to play this game to try and i hope i am one of the lucky person that can get more prizes..
Sounds like Fun!!
Of course. It was fun.

When the freerolls happened two months ago.

Do you know how to read? Do you know what "this month" means when the post is in August?

Oh, sorry. I guess you don't. However, if you do decide to play the game (which I supremely doubt you will) then you'll find that there are tournaments available for skill-based (and luck) games. Well, since you're posting for pennies anyway, why not go ahead and join the game? They have "faucets" where the soldiers give you handouts. Who knows? Maybe you'll get lucky.

5337  Other / Meta / Re: Revamping the rank system. Again on: October 08, 2016, 04:20:44 PM
I propose a different approach which consists in gradual increase in the activity level required for every rank, so that some users wouldn't end up stripped off of their current rank. For example, Hero member right now requires activity of 480. After implementing the change, it would first require 494, then 508, and up to, say, 960...
Would not people actually go ranked down in this process?
Yes, provided they're inactive.

If you're active, you would stay at your current rank. Isn't that more of an incentive ?
5338  Economy / Lending / Re: New Loan System - A Suggestion on: October 08, 2016, 03:45:33 AM
I was wondering if there was a dedicated loan system here .It can be monitored and slightly moderated by the forum, but mostly it will just be a catch all for the loans and a place where all the info will be available for anyone to see.  Say I have the BTC and want to give a loan, then I have one place where I can go and look and see all the loans that people are aksing for, the risk levels and other info.
Something like a Excel sheet or something.

wha we have is a ledger of all existing loan.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1207414.0
other infos are the lenders responsibility to check and interogate to the borrower.

That ledger has been inactive since May 31 (the last edit of the first post by OP), and it's been stagnant with replies since July 9th. I don't quite think that would be great to use right now. (Also considering that the OP of that thread has been inactive since their final edit)
But hey, if someone else wants to give it a shot again (though unnecessary, really), then you, MFahad, could do it.
5339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: reg required V.S. no reg game on: October 08, 2016, 03:41:41 AM
Registration is just vastly superior to betting without an account present on the site. Having to pay multiple transaction fees is just annoying, as well as costly. By sending the bankroll to the account on the website, you avoid all of that. Logging in and out is a small (very small) cost to pay for having convenience overall.

The loss of accounts is prevented with a password manager or lack of idiocy.
You still technically regain your funds after every round (except they're just on the site, and you would have to withdraw)

There would be the third option: to have the possibility of logging in, OR betting individually without the use of accounts, merely a deposit address.

Unless you want to see a list filled with Newbie and Jr. Member loans, this idea won't happen. Monitoring and moderation aside, there will be too much scam spam to locate the sparse amounts of actual requests. Which you would find maybe once a fortnight. Go to Poloniex if you want to see requests for loans (though you probably won't be paid there, either.)

If you want to offer loans, create a thread or browse loan request threads. It's as simple as that - don't make others do the work for you.
