Did your friend only change his phone but kept the same number?
Did you try to put the sim card back in the old phone? If the old phone works properly, you should try with the same sim card (same number) and the same email that was used to download the app.

Unfortunately, it's illegal to buy property in the EU with BTC. To those who are not familiar with this business, it's also illegal to pay in a foreign currency like the US dollar, or to pay cash save in one country. Even if the buyer accepts BTC, the transaction must be in the currency which is legal tender in the country, and the price shall be written in the contract. Sorry, but there's no choice.
Some tax and legal rules are not the same in the European Union and it is absolutely not illegal in France to pay in bitcoins. Nevertheless, you have to prove the origin of the funds and pay taxes and notary fees in Fiat. In France, there is what is called the dation in payment: originally an heir could pay his debts by transferring works of art for example, in the same way a real estate developer can "exchange" a piece of land or a real estate for an apartment (for example a person sells his house on a piece of land on which the developer will build a building, the developer then offers in addition to transfer an apartment in the said building). More infos : https://www.nexity.fr/terrains/guide-terrain/conseils-vente/dation-en-paiement-definitionOne day the majority of countries will accept bitcoins in the same way as they accept a work of art to pay a tax debt, it is only a matter of time. In some countries you can already pay your taxes with bitcoin.

Is there a way to add hardware into a phone that is separate from the phone itself but can still interact with it from the inside to sign transactions and truly keep your bitcoins in your phone?
The BitBoxApp is available on Android so you can manage your crypto on the go. Simply download the Android app and connect your BitBox02 using the convenience of USB-C. I don't know if you were thinking of something like that, but maybe it looks like it. In this case you have indeed two devices : smartphone and cold wallet, but if you don't have a pc, it's still very practical and above all very secure. https://shiftcrypto.ch/app/

Very pessimistic It's more realistic prediction based on possible upcoming news regarding Bitcoin. I could always say 1 million chf or something like that if I want to be 100% wrong, so this way I still have slight chance to actually win something I know 3 days left ladies and gentlemen

The digital nature of such a currency would mean that governments would have complete control over it, which some people consider a form of monetary slavery. This view suggests that such a currency would not maintain its value over time. BTChttps://thefinanceopedia.com/ BTCThis is true and this is exactly what they want. Any currency they can print without real counter value in a hard asset like precious metals, is destined to go bankrupt. History is very clear about this and there are 0 exceptions. We are now at a point in time when the entire global monetary system is about to go bankrupt, and end in hyperinflation. 2023 is very similar to the 1930's. There was high inflation (look up Weimar inflation of Germany) and there was a global conflict between rising powers, leading to WWII in 1940. After this war in 1945, the financial rules were set with the US dollar as the reserve currency and the USA setting the rules for global finance. That system is totally bankrupt now. The history of WWII is repeating itself right now. There is a shift in global dominance and that is what this Ukraine war is really about. USA + its NATO allies are bankrupt and it seems to me that bankers will use the war as an excuse when the entire banking system goes down. There is no other way to justify to people why they will own nothing and why their currencies are worthless. The nazi's have confiscated all of people's assets in WWII and this is exactly what Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum (By 2030 you will own nothing, but you will be happy) is planning for us now. CBDC's are simply the new plan to kick the can down the road, build up debt for decades, inflate the currency until it eventually becomes worthless and steal peoples assets when they can no longer pay off their possessions due to inflated currency. Not only that. With CBDC's being completely digital, the government now has full control over your account. They can close your account with 1 click. They know exactly what you own. They can and they will impose rules such as "you have to spend this money before this time, or we will impose a tax.." CBDC's are monetary slavery, and it is just a matter of time before the government will start advertising them to people. The promotion of CBDCs has already begun in many countries, including the jam-dex in Jamaica (as well as the e-naira in Nigeria), insisting that a cashless society is so much better. Moreover, for decades now, governments, in agreement with banks, have been trying to persuade citizens that cash is not practical (and that it can even be a vector of viruses...). The states maintain the confusion between CBDC and bitcoin, when of course there is nothing comparable. It is obvious that the progressive introduction of CBDCs is only a tool to control citizens. Fortunately, we can see that Nigerians are not very inclined to adopt it and that they largely prefer bitcoin, despite its ban.

I wonder what percentage of people don't even know bitcoin exists... Maybe one day a single bitcoin will represent a real fortune ... I've seen bitcoin go up to $800 and I thought it was very expensive... Instead of investing in bitcoin, I loaned money that I lost. Other people have bought a lot of stuff with bitcoins bought at 10 cents, sold them at 3 dollars, and were very happy to have made a profit. There are so many stories about bitcoin. By the way, I'm still looking for a site, in English, where people were telling their bitcoin stories.

I had an old trust wallet in my device, and after reading this topic, I sent some coins to my bitcoin address, and I can confirm that my Trustwallet doesn't show incoming transactions. The balance is correct, but there is no new incoming transaction. Solutions to this problem: - Delete the wallet, clear the cookies and install the latest version.
- Edit notifications on your device.
- Go to settings and change the node mode from automatic to fast.
I tried the above settings and got a transaction notification as soon as I got a one confirmation. Perfect. Thank you for feedback

Hi Becassine, I have one question for you? Can I participate in your competition for this hardware wallet, but if I by some miracle I win this device I can choose someone else who can receive it as a gift from me?
Of course. You make what you want with the price you win. (and thank you again for all the good advices in several threads)

Yeah, if you have several kids good idea so to give both of them same seed phrases but with different passphrases to each of them. You can even give them access to both shared BTC and separate in each account.
This is definitely a good idea! and a different passphrase depending on their interest for example.

It's interesting that « orange pill » really doesn't mean the same thing to everyone. For some the expression has a negative connotation, for others it is more than positive: the orange pill is also art in all its forms. Music, paintings, books ... A friend just sent me this: https://youtu.be/Q3aLqqWQhxYIn the end it all depends on how you look at bitcoin: either just a way to make money, or something else entirely.
