I just received a email from "Bitmain": BITMAIN has started to ship yesterday. Unfortunately, they have advised me that Batch 1 to 3 are not reaching hashing speed as promised (440 GH/s instead of 478 GH/s). It is very disappointing but I cannot take the risk to validate your order. I can issue you a full refund if you wish OR I can put your order in queue for batch 4. I do not know exactly when batch 4 will start shipping but it's more likely to be the first week of August. Please let me know your choice as soon as possible.

Thanks I would make Damn sure that is real, Bitmaintech has not ever offered a FULL REFUND EVER before. If that e-mail asked for your sensitive info I would be wary. Smells like a scam... Who is "they" and "me" in "... they have advised me ..." Be very careful ... Agreed!!! Advise strongly against giving them any info matter of fact I would go on the Bitmaintech site and forward them the email. |

Go to UPS tracking and select track by reference enter your Bitmain order number. It will show you if it is on the way. I have 2 that shows arriving Thursday I was in batch 1. I have 4 ordered from batch 2 and 4 from batch 3, so they have not shipped yet. I hope they will be here by the end of the month, but last time I logged in Bitmain offered me a 7.7% refund or 10% coupon, which may mean they expect small delays. We will see. Actually the coupon is because the 1 to 3 batch have some problems and the hash rate is around 7% lower than they anticipated and we will not be able to over clock. More info and a copy of their release in the S3 thread. |

Nothing here yet - still shows as 'unshipped' in the order status. My order was processed at 2014-06-30 19:08:02.
Go to UPS tracking site choose track by reference and put in your bitmain order number, bitmain's site runs usually a day behind in the shipping info. |

Shipping is started ... mine are shipped.
Mine also, for those wanting to see if they shipped yet go to S3 thread it will advise how to check the ups info by your order number. UPS shows mine with Thursday delivery. Order time was: 2014-06-30 14:10:01 but looks as if they might be going by when the payment hit them. |

buy from amazon, errr i forgot who's selling just ask around here, someone already bought from them(amazon) quite cheap.. around $500 In your dreams... CrytoCrane on Amazon, I use coin from Bitmain so can't say either way about them but 639.00 for one and 1219.00 for the 2 pack. |

Engeniers of bitmaintech is little stupid(
i have burned out 2PSU. one was enermax 87+(stock) and 2nd was CHIEFTEC APS-1000C. All they burned out couse power consumption is little more than 1000 Wats! it is 1150-1200! So minimum 1500 Wats PSU is needed for Antminer S2 =((
Knock on wood, but I am running 3 S2's and never have had a problem with the PSU. Only thing is if you loose power you do have to turn them off for about 5 min. or so before turning back on. Are you running in a cooled environment with clean power? |

Here comes all the pool hoppers and the longer block times. If they only knew how much more they could make if they just stayed here or somewhere else and left those miners along!
More likely batch 2 and 3 of the S3's "testing" as well as any other hardware mining before shipment. They usually try to spread them across several pools we have been seeing this for a while now. |

how low does a coupon get you, its been for ever since i have been on this thread, what have the specs got to and what is the common advice with clocking...how has shipping improved
$400 off list price. My last one I ordered had a new design. They had installed a backing plate to hold the cards firmly in place. It worked arrived in US all in one piece. The previous one I bought without the backing plate arrived with all the cards loose inside and a ben rail. big improvement. |
