541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't become world currency (at least now). on: March 27, 2023, 08:22:38 AM
I think bitcoin was not made to be world currency. as far as I know, bitcoin is made to facilitate transactions anonymously or not, and has a decentralized system. apart from being an alternative means of payment, bitcoin can also be used as an investment. Besides that, from the beginning, I didn't think bitcoin would become a world currency, it was because the system was decentralized, and many countries rejected bitcoin as currency. however, it doesn't really matter, because up until recently, people have even used bitcoins the way they were supposed to.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the altcoin go up in price if the bitcoin price goes up? on: March 27, 2023, 07:10:03 AM
altcoin prices tend to go up when bitcoin prices go up. That's because the price trend caused by the increase in the price of bitcoin will follow the altcoin. altcoins tend to have stable prices of coins, or ethereum, bnb, or other platform coins. the coins of this platform are always related to the bitcoin price. so when bitcoin prices go up, altcoin prices will tend to go up, and vice versa. This is a common thing to happen. besides that, the percentage of altcoin prices is higher because the price is lower than bitcoin.
Also, I don't think that this has anything to do with trust in altcoins, because each altcoin has different aspects and goals. So, when we talk about the issue of trust, then it comes back to the individual altcoins.
543  Economy / Economics / Re: Poor and Rich on: March 25, 2023, 01:11:18 PM
Yes I agree with you "the rich get richer and the poor get poorer". If a person is born into a rich family then he can just be smart with his investments and make money this way. It is not so risky if he can invest in the right places.
Rich people also have savings and investments already. It is less work for them to have to do as they grow up.
even when they are wrong in investing, they still have a lot of funds to invest. apart from that, I think the factor of a rich family also has insight into where a good investment place is. Some wealthy people in my area own several mining companies, and are not afraid to spend their money investing or building new businesses. that's why they are always quicker to see opportunities, and without hesitation to try these opportunities.
Meanwhile, the poor can get poorer when they choose the wrong place to invest. I've heard quite a lot that people get stressed when the bitcoin price drops, or when some scam crypto project scams them. sometimes they even go so far as to borrow money to invest more than they can repay.
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BNB Coin Hit $300 Mark in 2023? on: March 25, 2023, 09:00:35 AM
If you believe in the potentiality of BNB in the future I am sure you will not hesitate to buy it now in the market especially if you are a long term holder who is an investor class. But if you have even a little doubt, don't buy it, because the crypto you are going to invest in is good if you know why you are buying it and you know what its potential is in the future. It's not that you just buy because you just heard or someone else told you, don't let that be your basis as a capitalist in the cryptocurrency business.

Binance is big exchange, the CEO is so influential so the future for this coin is so big that's why possibilities to reach that price or even more is really possible to happen. This have potential to surpass eth but CZ need to do something more greater efforts and reach out to more people globally to make this to happen. For now $300 which is already achieve for past couple of weeks and now potentially it could go up to $400 or even $500.
well, actually targeting $300 is way too low for binance. many people believe that binance could be worth over $1k if a bull market comes along. Personally, I also collect this coin in my portfolio because I believe in its potential. even though there is a lot of FUD on binance, I think the CEO of Binance is very professional in dealing with FUD or problems. Binance is one of the biggest CEXs today because of the professionalism of its team. However, if a price increase occurs in the near future or a recovery occurs in the crypto market, I also feel that the BNB price could reach $400 or even $500.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins still a good invest? on: March 25, 2023, 05:42:53 AM
Do you think that meme coins still have a chance to do well in the next bull market? Would you still invest on projects like shiba inu and floki inu.
depending on the circumstances and conditions of each meme coin. however, in general, whenever there is a bull market, meme coins like doge, shiba, or popular meme coins, the price will most likely increase. increases that occur are usually driven by market factors, hype, and many more. since long time ago, meme coin has always followed the flow of price increases and price decreases that occur. However, meme coins remain a risky investment.
546  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Bitcoin can end poverty? In a nation today on: March 24, 2023, 03:16:57 PM
based on the story you told, bitcoin can overcome poverty. however, it all depends on how they utilize bitcoins. based on the stories you have, bitcoin really helps. however, it should be realized that bitcoin also carries considerable risks. if we invest in bitcoin in poor condition, then it will only help when the price goes up. however, keep in mind that it will add to the burden when the price drops.
If you want to invest in bitcoin, it's best to use money that you don't use for food and outside of your basic needs. in fact, it would be great if people invested in bitcoin using money that he is free to use. Bitcoin can indeed help poverty, however, if we don't use it wisely, then it can be a negative thing for us.
547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel bad while paying with BTC? on: March 24, 2023, 09:00:35 AM
if you are not comfortable spending the bitcoins you have, then feel free to use stable coins or even Fiat. however, you must have the principle that bitcoin is an investment that you keep. So, you don't have to use it, and keep adding to it if you have extra cash. The simple thing is if you are not comfortable, then use an alternative that you are comfortable using.
Anyway, I just heard a story about a guy who exchanged the 30+ bitcoins he had for a pizza, or do you mean Laszlo Hanyecz spent 10k bitcoins for 2 pizzas.
548  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking loan for investment can be life threatening on: March 24, 2023, 06:33:19 AM
Yes, it’s really life threatening especially if you have no means to pay for it. I guess you worry a lot, which I also understand because your uncle might lost everything more than he knew it. And with that, there’s nothing you can do but prepare for the future losses.
Why would anyone with a sensible mind even take a loan when there are sure means of repayment in the first? Not to talk about entrusting his investment to a strange, someone he has seen for a while is strange to him cause people can easily change especially when money is involved. The only thing that can cause this is greed for making money.
yes, but the fact is that many people blindly take out loans, even selling all the assets they have for investments that they believe will bring them wealth in a short time. they are truly inspired that the risk is worth the reward, but they forget that all such actions can lead them only to the risk. as long as we have income, put in a few percent to invest, and never take action looking for a loan to invest, especially since the loan is more than we can replace.
549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when your identity is stolen -- real story || Avoid CEXs! on: March 23, 2023, 02:13:13 PM
So are you still willing to use CEXs?

Yes, I will continue to use CEXs because it is convenient and there is always a solution if you do not want to provide your personal data to such services.

As for this story, there are such stories in every sector of cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, altcoins, exchanges, pools, etc. Just one terrible example does not mean that absolutely the entire industry is structured this way and this awaits all users of centralized exchanges.
yes, it is. This can happen in all industrial sectors. in fact, in my country, there are some people who take advantage of someone's personal data that they get from online loans. with ID cards and selfies, they can easily trick others into borrowing, cheating, and other bad things. I agree that giving our identity to others is a dangerous thing, but we need to know where we give that identity. it's a negative effect of so many industries, and I think there are very many cases like this happening.
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still hunt for airdrops? on: March 23, 2023, 09:19:23 AM
at the moment I am no longer hunting for airdrops because many have joined airdrops but all of them are scams, therefore I am not sure about airdrops anymore, maybe in the future the airdrops will come back good again in the sense that there are no more scams, so I will join again.
I also never join any airdrop because of the same reason. Too many airdrops from scam projects, rarely get real projects. And even though there are real projects, they only pay cents for airdrop tasks. So, working on airdrops isn't worth it anymore. In the future, we don't know whether the airdrop era will be good again or not. It depends on the projects whether there are many good projects or not. Also, it is about the allocation for airdrop tasks, if no improvement we only waste time and effort because we earn cents only (a very small amount of money).

it seems like almost all of us have the same reasons why we don't look for airdrops anymore. however, for airdrop hunters, this is a tough thing, because they are used to making money there. it's just that, some airdrops like arbitrum are still quite appropriate to think that airdrops still have a little potential. however, maybe now it's rare for airdrops to provide proper profit, but I hope that in the future, airdrops will provide appropriate pay for their workers.
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What could have happened to all meme coins on: March 23, 2023, 06:42:53 AM
if Elon Musk had never supported Doge, then I don't think many coin memes would have gotten noticed. people are probably still focusing on Dogecoin over other meme coins. after all, meme coins have always been meme coins. people really know that the coin has a very high risk compared to other types of crypto. however, due to the Hype of dogecoin, a lot of people have suddenly paid attention to other coin memes, even today. however, I think nowadays people are just taking advantage of the fast volatility that occurs in meme coins to make a profit.
552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many BTC needed for retirement in 10 years? on: March 22, 2023, 09:23:07 AM
-snip-
I think 10 BTC and 100 ETH would set you up for good, so once that is reached, I would stop accumulating, what is your plan?
for now, 10 bitcoins and 100 ethereum is a lot of money. we assume that bitcoin and ethereum prices will be very high in the future. meaning, you need to have a lot of money to accumulate that amount before retiring in search of bitcoin or ethereum. actually it's a good value, but if that's your target, then you need to set it up from now and take advantage of the bear market to get a cheap price. Personally, I don't know how much is suitable for retirement, but as long as I can still earn from it, I will continue to try to make it.
553  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: March 22, 2023, 08:37:49 AM
In fact, renting is an alternative to use when you can't afford a property. there are drawbacks and disadvantages of that. however, renting for primary needs is not included in the waste even though the best thing is to manage money to own your own property if you can afford it.
regarding bank loans, it depends on you, if you can afford it, maybe it can be better than continuing to rent. You might try to sell the apartment you own when you can't afford it anymore. however, the other alternative is that you try to find a cheap property, then collect a little money to buy a new property or maybe an apartment. However, there are many alternatives that you can choose from, it just depends on your circumstances.
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how much money is considered as "invest only what you can afford to lose" on: March 22, 2023, 06:21:47 AM
"money you can afford to lose" for each person is different. So, it all depends on each of our conditions. if you can only afford to invest $10, then that is money you can afford to lose. the important thing is, you are ready if the money suddenly decreases. Also, there is no guarantee that investing in bitcoins is profitable. it all depends on the way we do to increase the assets we have. many say that this is a risky investment, but if you are able to take advantage of it, then this can also be a very profitable investment.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can we return the stolen wallet? on: March 21, 2023, 10:03:44 AM
most likely you entered a phishing site, or there is a virus on the device you are using. I suggest using a wallet and other devices or at least scanning your device for viruses, and clearing the history of the device you have. Unfortunately, I've never heard that any asset can be recovered when it's been stolen. maybe some people have succeeded in returning it, but I think it is very difficult and requires a lot of funds. I suggest starting to generate new assets that you can get now.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or altcoin on: March 20, 2023, 02:20:57 PM
If you have a smaller stack than the answer should always be bitcoin.  I'm not saying to stay clear of altcoins but you want to build up a good portfolio of bitcoin before you start venturing off.  A small percentage of your overall portfolio can be aimed at alts but don't be silly like a lot of people and put all your money into alts.  Once you get enough bitcoin I'd start looking at polygon/matic.  Lots of good things going on with that platform.
well, buying bitcoin bit by bit, for now, is enough. The OP started buying bitcoins at $800, and it would be better to buy little by little until you reach a certain value, then build another portfolio with altcoins. it would be a purposeful investment. However, we don't know what the OP thinks, maybe $800 is enough value for him in a bitcoin investment and wants to choose an altcoin. however, I would also recommend opting for bitcoin for now until it's worth enough, and continuing with popular altcoins.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects come out when bull market begin. on: March 20, 2023, 08:46:19 AM
Hello i just want to ask if i you guys also notice when the bitcoin rise there are also a lot of new projects come out and if bitcoin fall there are only few projects build, is it because some projects developer notice that most of the successful projects are build in bull market and most of the projects build on bear market are failed? Or they don't care about bull and bear market and they build thier project because the time is already been set?
why are there so many new projects that appear when the bull run occurs, it's because at that time, people will be interested in investing. then, there will be very many new investors who are interested in new projects. it will increase the sales from the launch of the new project. but, vice versa, if a bear market arrives, many people prefer to hold the coins they buy, or buy popular coins that are falling in price such as bitcoin, ethereum, and others. so, the risk of failure received by new projects will be greater because investors are more interested in buying existing popular coins or holding their assets.
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is google also telling us wrong about this ? on: March 20, 2023, 05:47:33 AM
it is very difficult to determine the exact amount of the total funds that have been invested in crypto to date because every day there are people who invest and there are people who withdraw their investments. So, the value will continue to decrease and increase depending on people's needs. Google only shows data when the data is uploaded, and the data provided is only an estimate. In fact, if you go deeper into the data, I'm pretty sure that you won't get the exact data because it will keep changing. you will only get data about a range of values close to the total amount of investments that were in crypto at that time.
559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about Infinite supply altcoins on: March 18, 2023, 06:38:30 AM
too many adverse side effects if the project has an Infinite supply. prices to be manipulated, tokens not to be burned, and many more. it will make the project more and more worthless. I think it is very risky to choose such a project to invest in. in fact, a token with a very large supply is enough to arouse suspicion from various parties, while this project dares to make its supply unlimited. then, what are the advantages of the token if the supply is Infinite?
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of play to earn games on: March 17, 2023, 01:53:08 PM
it's possible. You know, nowadays there are so many people who make playing games their main job, whether it's for YouTube, streaming, TikTok, and others. Play to Earn actually has a very positive impact on gamers when it appears, just like axie infinity. even i enjoyed it too. However, since the fall of Axie, so far I haven't found a play-to-earn game that is fun to play. after all, we can't shoot the future. However, if this development continues, it is possible that Sony or Microsoft will receive the system. if one of these large companies receives play to earn, and produces positive results, then it is only a matter of time until other large companies follow in the footsteps of companies that have been successful.
