541  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Using Crypto at a Non Profit? on: March 27, 2019, 09:27:39 AM
1.) What would be the best currency to use for international transfers from the US to places like India, North Korea, the Middle East.
Bitcoin would always be preferable.

2.) How could the recipients turn their crypto into cash without going through a bank? For example, if we sent 10,000 worth of Rupee to India via crypto, how would the end user convert this into Rupee in their country?

You cant use up those local exchange yet it do have some regulation. So, your last resort is peer to peer transactions towards other parties.
542  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do youtube "Expert Traders" keep asking money for their "premium tips"? on: March 26, 2019, 11:46:58 PM
They just simply want to milk most of their viewers but they never really did show such proofs, it is just a marketing strategy to make some very large amount of stash collected from their viewers who do give a tips sometimes. It is all known to all vloggers out there mostly in a live stream while playing to show some moves IF they are pro. The more subscriber they get the more money they will get and that's how they make money.
543  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance Raw trading data on: March 26, 2019, 11:26:07 PM
Just use it for your own good mate, you might make a fortune on that. So far, i think no one has fall for it as you mentioned since the cost too was very high and why would you have to make a service from raw trading data when most people can do it on their own? A lot of information is widely scattered all over the internet and people can just simply use it to analyze everything.
544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future improvements on: March 26, 2019, 11:15:49 PM
The most optimal thing that the bitcoin team can do for users is to further optimize the fee for transferring bitcoins to other wallets. The smaller the Commission, the more demand it will have.
In addition, it is better to consider the acceleration of the transaction speed for this blockchain as it is one of the slowest in connection with its long-standing existence.
In some points optimizing it is good but upgrading bitcoin is better but let the developers put this implementation since bitcoin is still a developing program and it has a lots of room for improvement. There must be a "first things first" on their list and by upgrading it would also occur a hard fork which could lead to make another altcoin.
545  Economy / Economics / Re: QuadrigaCX Owes Customers $190 Million, Court Filing Shows on: March 26, 2019, 11:04:39 PM
The matter is far more complicated that we can think of. He died while in India and it is said that he was suffering from some chronic stomach disease. However, everything looked normal till I stumbled upon the below news,

https://www.scmp.com/tech/blockchain/article/2185120/quadriga-cryptocurrency-exchange-founder-filed-will-12-days-he-died

It seems like Gerald Cotten filed his will 12 days before he died. Something certainly smelling fishy and looked very much like a big and well planned exit scam!
I smell a well-planned execution or something hmmm.. But the problem of this other guy is the key to the funds but what if he knows it already. This is so complicated to think of what would be the real reason or the real event that causes this. But one thing is for sure, they/he may have planned it already to look like this.
546  Economy / Economics / Re: Customer Owned Exchange on: March 26, 2019, 10:55:14 PM
i do not understand exactly what customer owned exchange is. but i dont like the idea that an exchange that i use is being owned by anybody. what about decentralized exchange platforms? arent they better?
Is there any crypto exchange out there that don't have an owner? we all know that all of the exchange have an algorithm to operate but it's still needs a manual operation of someone.

I'm thinking what would be the edge of this so called Customer Owned Exchange as no one would fund it or even maintain it for free.

I hope there is but I'm thinking what would really be the edge on it since you are the only one who controls it. How could you trade with other people if you are the one that's controlling it? Seems like an impossible task yet needs to discuss on how this could actually work.
547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bolt-A-Thon: World's First Online Lightning Network Conference and Hackathon on: March 26, 2019, 10:47:18 PM
It seems to be a small low-budget event. Most of the events that I remember (even online webinars) were expensive as fuck both for visitors, speakers and advertisers. This one is cheap and affordable but the cheap price may correlate with quality in some negative way. So don't expect to find something super special there.
It could be worth in a while to watch but i don't want to expect too much since it's just a low-budget event but still, as a crypto enthusiast we should try and put our small time on it. We may find something good in it and i really hope there is, at least we tried to show our support.
548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IPL Daily Betting odds and the results. Users can share your winning odds. on: March 26, 2019, 10:41:41 PM
~snip~
Why not consider to be a tipster? Imho. I do really love to see others bets with corresponding analysis and it shows your recent one do succeed.Following this thread.
549  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies Analytic Reports | CORindex on: March 26, 2019, 10:26:09 PM
From what I gather by the last report it looks like ethereum is really on a good track, there is a lot of potential.
Not that bitcoin doesn't it does too but it already went up a lot and unless we are on the verge of a big bull run it will not go that high, maybe 200 bucks at best but most likely will go down a bit.
...
I don't want to be misguided by the thoughts that ethereum would actually going to hit $200 in the future with the bull run. But if there would be bull run how could we be so sure that it would really hit $200 when the last price of ETH during bull run was $1000. I think $200 is just too small for the bull run but i don't want to give a number yet since we never see the sign of bull run yet.
550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Sportsbook for IPL? on: March 26, 2019, 10:18:39 PM
Hi,
I've been looking to place some bets on IPL matches using cryptos but IPL is not included in the sportsbook I'm used to.
What would be the best odds providing sportsbook I can bet on IPL? I'm not very fond of in game betting and would love to seem  multiple options to bet on like the number of runs scored or wickets taken.

If you are from India, then I will suggest you to refrain from IPL betting regardless of the website is Indian or not! The Indian Police force stay extra alert during this time to stop any kind of betting activity happening around IPL game. Rather, try fantasy betting like Dream11. It's not crypto betting for sure, but legal in India. They have detailed instructions available on how to play their fantasy sports game and it is lucrative if you understand the cricket game very well! Just my two satoshis!
That would be risky if you got caught on such betting activity but somehow if you can able to take the risk on betting up then its OP's choice. Fantasy suggestion or idea isnt bad though but it would be entirely different on the other side.
551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC, ETH, Litecoin, Cash Bitcoin, Stellar, Tron: Price Analysis, March 25, 2019 on: March 26, 2019, 10:06:26 PM
It looks like there would be a bullish strategy that would happen soon but for the mean time let's hear what will be their plan. With a plain presumption only unless proof have been shown there is no chance that this numbers would hit on that date.
By investing bitcoin, you don't have to doubt about yourself about it since most people already did invest it and never got a problem.
552  Economy / Economics / Re: Still no threat detected, Apple Card on: March 26, 2019, 09:54:30 PM
The apple card wont give any effect to bitcoin because I think it is just a way for Apple to increase the price of their phone. Bitcoin secure wallet is still better than credit cards or even Apple card. It is not competitor to bitcoin as bitcoin is available for all people as long as they are connected to the internet while Apple Card is only for Apple users.
This is the difference among the two when it comes to accessibility or possible usage for anyone. Apple card or any sorts of Cards out there would be still connected with Fiat system
and we know that it has nothing to do with Bitcoin and the funny part is that they are trying to persuade things about Bitcoin which they havent realized that they do make themselves
laughable on the entire crypto community.
553  Economy / Economics / Re: North Korean dissidents selling Ethereum-based post-liberation visas on: March 26, 2019, 09:54:16 PM
I wonder if they really could overthrow Kim Jong-un on that country it seems like a mission impossible but at least they don't wanna start a war by cooperating to these people in the government. What more could we expect if they really did it? We might see some huge adoption of bitcoin but most people on that country don't know what is the internet.
554  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency exchange volume: More fake than real? on: March 26, 2019, 09:48:05 PM
It is not a strange thing anymore as it is being used as a part of marketing strategy by (usually) new exchanges to attract users. The hard competition between exchanges makes them to do such thing in order to get interest from traders. It is maybe also happen in any other bitcoin/crypto related services.

You are right, this isnt already a surprising thing anymore where exchangers do potentially fake out volumes for the sake of hyping up their exchange to gain users that do easily being hooked out
with huge numbers.
As a trader you should be aware on fake and real ones to avoid such problems further on.
555  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen when the stock market crashes? on: March 26, 2019, 09:26:30 PM

What's your opinion about this?

I believe it could be a huge obstacle in the run to $100,000 in this new potential bubble...

Thanks
Theres no correlation between crypto and stock market. The thing you do look at that both crashes is just pure coincidence and has nothing to do for them to be connected.
We can presume that funds on stocks might go to crypto yet its plausible but there are not news nor rumors that it would happen.
556  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Most profitable Crypto Telegram Communities which provides FREE Signals, Bot on: March 26, 2019, 09:09:23 PM
Wow! All accuracy rates are just playing around 95%+ up! Good to see these numbers but we doubt on the people who do make such survey.
Would like to ask on whose people the ones took the survey? It should have corresponding trading results as a proof rather than making it as a verbal.
557  Economy / Economics / Re: What should you do in bearish market? on: March 26, 2019, 08:37:55 PM
Accumulate to the coins which you do believe that do have the potential specially to those coins who are on top 10 of CMC.They are cheap as of this moment
and if you can dare to risk up money the go ahead but dont expect too much.

If you are holding some bags, then its wise for you to keep holding on and wait for the market reversal.
558  Economy / Economics / Re: Duration will replace btc/gold and scummy fiat on: March 26, 2019, 07:12:20 PM
Think about if we come in contact with Aliens from another planet, would they accept a currency printed out of thin air? would they accept another mans currency? would they accept gold even though they have no gold on their planet to trade back and our solar system has a abundance?  would they give up their time/goods and services for some random guys money supply? I think we have a better chance exchanging duration with them.

Out of box thinking mate. We can able to use the bitcoins or altcoins to exchange with aliens or other living beings in the universe if we can contact them.
I wish BTC should replace the physical assets very soon for non corrupted solutions. That is what I wish.
Why we are already talking about aliens on here?  Huh

About on your wish, switching completely from current fiat financial system to fully adopted crypto isnt really that possible. We are optimistic with cryptos future
but it would really be just good on the way we are seeing it as of this moment.Sad to say that we do still much prefer that corrupted fiat system as of this moment.
559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tim Draper Encourages Argentina’s President to Legitimize Bitcoin on: March 26, 2019, 06:58:25 PM
Good thing that Draper do able to have some meeting with the President and its indeed a change or opportunity to introduce bitcoin/crypto overall
since his bullish on it then telling all the positive things will happen but i dont think the decision will be highly affected because the jurisdiction
will always vary on how the government for Argentina foresees about such situation.
He even shared his bullish attitude towards bitcoin and predicted within the next 3 to 4 year bitcoin will be worth $250,000
Im sick and tired with exaggerated presumptions or predictions about bitcoin hitting up with these ranges. Why not consider to point out lower goals?
560  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to minimise the trading fee? on: March 26, 2019, 06:32:49 PM
Any recommendations?
Currently in Australia, I would like to seek for an exchange platform with lowest trading fee but also with regulation.
Don't shoot the unregulated exchange to me, I hope my currency to be safe.
Just target out to use up top tier exchange as of this moment yet most of them do have the lowest trading fee.Im aint sure about the regulation stuff but definitely current exchange dont have any problems with that.
