541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people use dice bot? on: April 04, 2017, 06:32:40 AM
To be honest part of their use will be for money laundering.  Say for example that you had $11,500 or so.  You could exchange that for Bitcoin, deposit it into a gambling site, use a bot to gamble it many times so that you have a very low chance of losing a large amount, then take it out and boom, you have clean money.  Good if for whatever reason you don't want to use Bitmixer.io.
542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: April 04, 2017, 06:12:42 AM
Only haters would say that and those who had a real bad experience in gambling, it's not fair to blame gambling for their loses and say this world would be better if without gambling. Honestly, I am also a loser but I learn to appreciate gambling because it can really give fun if you are only looking for fun and nothing more or less.
You have a point, just because you're lose you shouldn't blame gambling site because it just a game and based of luck.
However, how much you are trying to notice someone to control their emotion there are still people who keeps their ego and keep playing. We should learn about the past and don't do it again.
Nah, people will blame gambling site if they lose  because they thought that the site isnt fair at all which causes for their loses.Emotion does really have a big role or effect into a gambler because with this it can make someone to make decision not would be suited or needed on playing gambling. If gambling isnt introduced then theres no gambling site or establishments worldwide.
but i do not think that it is fair to blame gambling for that, i think there is no fault of gambling itself. but the way the people play gambling is responsible for every thing they do in gambling. if they are playing gambling in a risky way then they are responsible for it and there is no fault of gambling itself.
yes people are resposible for that and not bitcoin. as it depend on the way you play gambling if you do not have any experience in trading and you also do not have any limit for playing gambling then it is more risky to make money from gambling.
People need to have an upper limit in gambling as well, that way the house edge actually applies instead of them just losing every time.
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Grab the Free 50usd BONUS From Planetofbets on: April 04, 2017, 06:09:31 AM

I think i will pass this offer.  Roll Eyes
Seems the OP is trying to steal our personal information. Probably a bot since he failed to even relate this to Bitcoin.
544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: April 04, 2017, 06:02:33 AM
Sure,if you will good investment opportunity you will get profit, than some of that profit you can reinvest, profit is profit.Small profit=small risk, just dont pick up promises like invest 10$ you will get thousends, whatever money you invest invest them wisely

I agree. If you can only afford small investment at this time, then you should do. But remember that small investment also yield small returns. You just have to learn how to roll your small profit to make another profit out of it. So in no time your profit will run exponentially. So start small but aim big.

It's true, but since we don't have all the same amount of money in our wallet, that is why there is a minimum and maximum amount of money that you are going to choose when you want to invest in a certain Investment site, mostly the minimum amount is $10, and you could reinvest your small investment, for your to gain more profits in the long run, though it depends on you because you can trust most of the investment site here in the crypto world, especially those HYIP ones.

The investment will not give more loss. Very rarely we will get loss in this investment method. But we must invest our money in the well reputed site it may be a small amount or big amount no matter. The profit remains same it bases on your investment amount. To learn anything new, the small investment is a good choice.
Not really, I'd say that small investments are only a good choice if your aim is to learn more about Bitcoin investment and what the best types of investments are/how they work.

Any site which takes a really small investment will either scam you, be a Ponzi scheme that scams other people, or earn a completely insignificant amount of money that in all normal investments will never even double (and you could always lose it in a couple of years in crypto unless you're good at diversification).
545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling investment is zero sum on: April 04, 2017, 05:58:36 AM
Actually, I assume the OP is just talking about putting money into gambling sites rather than investing in them.  In this case, people generally just do it because they find gambling enjoyable (possibly due to the thrill of the possibility of earning more money even if it is unlikely and they know it).
546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: April 03, 2017, 12:45:23 PM
I store it in my online wallet, and exchange like reliable poloniex. Also local wallet is a good option for me.
i think most the people who use bitcoin mostly keep their bitcoins in online wallet. i think it is one of the most reliable and convenient way of making money.
What are you talking about?  Online wallets are by far the least reliable sort of wallet because you don't even own the Bitcoin and rely on a third party which could collapse like Mt. Gox.  It's also not a way of making Bitcoin either.
547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is BU an attack on Bitcoin? on: April 03, 2017, 12:43:19 PM
You might want to read this article ... (please actually read it in full)

https://medium.com/@arthricia/is-bitcoin-unlimited-an-attack-on-bitcoin-9444e8d53a56#.tuts22w3t

It's mostly a strawman article.  It builds up arguments and then knocks them down, without considering what the arguments actually are.

Even a lot of Core supporters never even said that BU is an attack on Bitcoin, and neither solution is.
548  Economy / Speculation / Re: SegWit losing Bitcoin Unlimited winning -> Moon soon on: April 03, 2017, 12:34:58 PM
Just because BU is slightly ahead doesn't mean everyone should jump on the bandwagon and support it when Bitcoin's hard fork would not automatically make it a good choice for people to put their money in.
549  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Bitcoin Mining - Home Setup or how else to Earn BTC... on: April 03, 2017, 12:28:53 PM
Although your video card is old enough, I think it can be used to mine some altcoins, the Equihash algorithm , you can also use your CPU to mine cryptonight algorithms. Although it will not be profitable, you can exchange this altcoin to bitcoin and save it. Maybe the price of bitcoin will rise a lot in the coming years. In the bitcoin world the possibilities are endless, you just have to have good imagination.
There are some altcoins that are okay to mine with a CPU.  You could mine some altcoins like Riecoin which are CPU-only and have moderately stable price.

Bitcoin Unlimited doesn't even exist yet and people commenting here about their deposits have negative trust, is this not a big red flag for anyone?
551  Economy / Economics / Re: how much do you earn with 25$ investment on: April 03, 2017, 12:15:43 PM
How much you can earn with 25$ depend on which one you investment, example if you depend on betting, it will be 100$ in 1 day or 700$ in 7 days or 0$. But if you invest on hyip websites, its the same and the max profit i saw is 120% for 1 day , the more profit you earn the more risk you get. So do it safe !
I don't recommend gambling a good investment because of high risk although you can earn a good profit on it. I rather do trading although the risk is there but not that high compared to gambling

Gambling will take away your money from you and I consider it as the fastest way of loosing money and comparatively trading is less risky then gambling so if I have to invest my money then I will go for investing in altcoins instead of taking high risk in gambling.
In gambling you can earn money fast that is why there is a lot of bitcoin users or even other people that are into gambling because they can earn money fast with that but aside from you can earn money fast, it is faster to loss money there because you can't predict their system and it is just a random system that will based your winnings in luck. So if you want serious investment, invest it in legit sites or do altcoin trading.
Gambling is probably better than "investing" as little as $25.  It's pointless and you should only do it if your intention is to learn how to invest in the future and gain information yourself by participating.
552  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: April 03, 2017, 12:11:36 PM
It is better save money on the bank, while the others is i'll put it on invest in bitcoin, you can sure that your money is the value is high. And when you are having a an invest and saving you have more money someday you can buy anything if you want.If you more invest you can invest you'll can get more of the investment you want.

It is realy good to save money, whether you do it on a bank or do it ourselves. I dont really get what you are saying,  but I think you are saying good things about saving and investing. The more we invest the more the profit, the more you save, the more you can get from the future and the more your savings amd investment, the more money you can get in the future, I think that is what you are saying. But in these two I prefer to save than to invest, saving is a way of investment too, though in saving you take care of the money while in investing, you gave it to someone else.

The journey will always begin with saving as you cannot invest directly without building a initial capital so our primary concern should be to save money and after saving enough funds you can start looking for best possible investments and that will help in growing your funds in long run.

Yes, investing starts with savings. Just need to make the right investment. Then you can invest the profits. I started my investment business with savings
That is where it is all starts, from savings. With savings you can do all things without worrying about your money because you will just spend your money savings, it's also very easy for people to start business and also investment if they have savings in the first place but choosing between those two is a tough one so i think it is better if we do both of them to secure ourselves financially.

A good balance should be maintained between saving and investing to make your future more comfortable and promising investing money is risky but to grow your funds and to make profits from your investment you should need to take that risk of investing.
If you're good at investing, all of your money can be safely in it.  You shouldn't hold all of your money in risky assets (like Bitcoin) but even if you hold money in a variety of different risky assets with different properties your money can be safe.
553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: April 03, 2017, 12:10:05 PM
Fiat
Buys less and less things over time (prices of things to buy go up)
Very high fees to send money across country lines
Costs atleast $20+ for a single (same-day settled) wire transfer
Can buy things quickly & conveniently
Can pay taxes
Can be mostly anonymous to do illegal activities
Is completely Regulated and controlled by governments

Bitcoin
Buys more goods/services over time (prices become cheaper as time goes on)
Minimal fees to send money to another country
Minimal fees for same-day settlement
Not convenient to use directly to buy things (however can be used indirectly for scaling options)
Cannot use to pay taxes directly to government
Is completely tracked and not very anonymous for illegal activities ; blockchain has immutable record
Cannot be regulated or controlled by governments

Fiat's usage isn't really decreasing, while the prices of items goes up the pay for work also goes up, which is how inflation usually works (although it is still annoying for anyone who wants to save money and is not needed in society).

I would also argue that while Bitcoin is not very anonymous for illegal activities, it's better for them than online fiat (e.g. banks) because while the transactions are held on the blockchain they are based on pseudonymns which can be changed all the time.
554  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: April 03, 2017, 12:04:34 PM
Yes, but it would be propped up by altcoins that didn't have a stable price.  People would buy into Bitcoin and hold it to avoid the inflation of fiat currencies, as well as to trade with altcoins that they believe will rise and use that to increase their Bitcoin stock as if it were USDT.
555  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-03-27]Why the European Union is Against Anonymous Digital Currencies on: April 03, 2017, 11:09:31 AM
Any currency can be used for crime, including but not limited to fiat currency.  Anyone who is actually determined to launder their money will find a way and there will always be easy enough ways available.  Even if Bitcoin didn't do it, people would just find the new altcoin of the week that hasn't been properly banned yet and do that (not that the EU can find everyone who owns Bitcoin anyway).
556  Economy / Speculation / Re: People selling alts to go back in BTC on: April 03, 2017, 11:07:07 AM
Looks like the bottom was 8XX, now that the hard fork fears are going down and bitcoin unlimited is pretty much dead beyond any reasonable expectative, I can see more and more people jumping back in the Bitcoin train. Looks like ETH already peaked and BTC bottomed.
Yes,its time now for bitcoin rally to begin again. The rally was postponed for few days due to BU.Now,its clear that BU is a failure and its clear that lots of rumours were spread to promote panic selling among new investors. Now its time for Bitcoin spaceship to take off.

I think the people are buying BTC now and its above $1100. As I have said, FUD spreading about the BU vs BTC schism seems to died down as the days goes by. So maybe they are just going back to btc to invest and try to profit. I don't know if the whales are still manipulating the market price of bitcoin behind, but by the looks of it they are now. Another factor I'm seeing that is causing the price of bitcoin to a steady rise is Japan acceptance of bitcoin. So its a combination of different parameters that makes the price of bitcoin jump now.
I think the whales are manipulating the price a bit less now.  Before, it was mainly altcoins that they were manipulating and Bitcoin more naturally followed.
557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Crimes, and Terrorism on: April 03, 2017, 10:53:05 AM
i do not consider that bitcoin is crime or terrorism its just a digital currency and which use for online transaction and and all bitcoin users is very satisfy from bitcoin and all people supporting bitcoin and no one thin negative about bitcoin.
It is just a digital currency, but that doesn't change its usage which can often be negative.  To be fair people are right to suggest that cash could be used for illegal methods as well, but Bitcoin's pseudonymity is very helpful for criminals on the dark web.  Unfortunately I think that this is essential to preserve Bitcoin's support of privacy and lack of government control.
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Zebpay's Petition to Announce Bitcoin as Legal in India on: April 03, 2017, 10:48:18 AM
Even being legal won't make it succeed, if it's legal that just means that Indian politicians accept its right to exist, not that they respect its legitimacy.  Some are even ignorant enough to believe that it could be a Ponzi scheme (although to be fair it does often facilitate Ponzi schemes).
559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs altcoins because ... on: April 03, 2017, 10:46:10 AM
Bitcoin does not need altcoins.

  Smiley Smiley Smiley
Bitcoin without altcoin of course will like the cuisine without seasonings, bland and no sense of any kind. do you know, that the price can go up help altcoin?
I agree.  Altcoins, even the shit ones, bring traffic to Bitcoin through their marketing of the concept of cryptocurrency, especially the memecoins like Doge which make Bitcoin more accessible and interesting.
560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: April 03, 2017, 10:43:22 AM
I invest my BTC in MLM. Once I made a contribution and now I have the opportunity to earn a large number of bitcoins. At the moment, this is the most profitable investment for me

Can you share more information about it as it is totally new concept for me and is it safe to invest bitcoins there? And what is the minimum amount of bitcoins we have to invest? It would be great if you share some more information about it.
Don't do it, notably the person says that they have the "opportunity" to earn Bitcoin.  The only way to do it is refer loads of other people to the scheme and there are never an infinite number of people.  Naturally, most people have to lose and will not find all of the people they need as most people don't have the same faith in these schemes.
