541  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you expect a crash soon ? Or you see bitcoin keep climbing ? on: October 27, 2017, 08:49:26 AM
Crash is possible after investors dumps their money on fork event.Prices will climb till 6000$ but later crazy movements will result in losses due to hitted stop loss orders. I hold my bitcoins till next year and long term holders always win at the end.

I disagree with this, After october 25th fork another Fork might happen on November so if the fork is successful then bitcoin holders will keep it until the next fork. and with the increasing user it may not affect its price.

In my opinion, no one got the exact answer of predicting the future of bitcoin. In engaging a business, one must ready to accept hardness or difficulties towards work because it is expected already. Nobody is perfect and even scientist the scientist cannot able to predict the exact time of bitcoin's future. If you think it is better to have it now, then why not grab the opportunity? If not, then don't put your hand on the risk.
542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy bitcoin now? on: October 26, 2017, 04:11:02 PM
If you spent money to buy 1 BTC yesterday you've earned more than 500$ for now Smiley) Cause yesterday Bitcoin price only was 5k4$ but for now it's more than 5k9$ and nearly 6k$. But at this price if you believe in Bitcoin you still should buy some more cause there are a lot of people predicted that Bitcoin has potential to reach to more than 10k$ in next 6 months so if you think it'll be you should buy some more then hold it till it reach to the price you want Cheesy

Now some people are calling for it go even higher. This rises the question of whether ordinary investors should put a smidgen of their savings or even their retirement accounts, into buying bitcoin. However, it doesn't say bitcoin users  are guaranteed good outcome and it doesn't mean also that its not valuable as an investment. Just keep in mind that you don't need to buy the whole bitcoin. All you need is to decide for yourself if you think this is a good time to buy.
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum SCAM? on: October 25, 2017, 11:52:53 PM
Noo, Ethereum isnt a Scam. Its a huge project that we will all need in the future!

Bitcoin is more important than Ehereum. This coin is just an instrument for an ICO while ETH network can't handle the traffic and still didn't limit the creation of erc20 tokens that cause scaling problem for ETH network. Vitalik must stop being greedy. Solve first scaling issue then remove parameters.

Cryptocurrencies are one of the more lucrative targets of scammers. But then, I still believed that ethereum is not a scam. Why do many people tends to invest or have the guts to use it if it is a scam? Although there are lot of scammers spreading on the network, still ethereum rising up its value because of the increasing number of  users. I am an avid believer of ethereum and I am optimistic towards its potentials.
544  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it more wise to invest in Bitcoin or in Ethereum for the next 5 years? on: October 25, 2017, 11:16:10 PM
Is it more wise to invest in Bitcoin or in Ethereum for the next 5 years? What do you think an why?
I think that more wise is to invest in Bitcoin. Simply because Bitcoin is stronger and more people support it, therefor we can say that it will last longer (not 100% certainty). Ethereum is good coin too, but I think that on long terms Bicoin is better. Bitcoin is still growing, and fast. In future it could become worlds currency.

In my opinion, would it be wise if we used both bitcoin and ethereum? Like bitcoin, ethereum is a distributed public block chain network. They are both good coins of course. I think there is nothing wrong of choosing these type of technology since both gives us good profits in return. Although there are some significant technical differences between the two, the most important distinction to note is that bitcoin and ethereum differ substantially in purpose and capability.
545  Economy / Speculation / Re: how to predict bitcoin price increase or decrease? on: October 25, 2017, 10:43:21 PM
We see sometimes bitcoin price increase or decrease. How I can predict whether bitcoin price increase or decrease.Again, who controll this price.I appreciate if you kindly share your experience.

I guess no one control the increasing and decreasing of bitcoin price, so no one can predict it. Maybe we just need to be updated on every news about things that may affect cryptocurrencies prices, because for me a certain action done by a person or a group can affect bitcoin price if their actions are related to the digital currencies world.
Actually no one can predict when the bitcoin price will increase or even decrease. Its unpredictable and for me its the disadvantage of the users here by using bitcoins. We all know that bitcoin value is unstable

It is hard to predict the increase and decrease of bitcoin. Speaking of "bitcoin increase", maybe this will only depends on the number of investors or the number of people used it. On the other hand, the decreasing value of bitcoin is also unpredictable since we never know how long the willingness of investors or users would last.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for best ICO on: October 25, 2017, 09:23:32 PM
It's not too difficult to distinguish a real project from a fake one. If you go for a good ICO, sooner or later you would profit. Look for the usability and the people behind it rather than believing in extraordinary words.

I think it's VERY hard. Most projects are just fancy websites, "partnerships" and tons of marketing. They have no product or even anything in development. So many promising ICOs have tanked because investors just burn the tokens, too. I say stay away from ICOs. Buy them after they dip.

I think everyone in this forum wants to gain good profit. I believe the creator of these ICO's also did their best to let the people satisfied on their service. Like people in this forum, the ICO's creator/s wants to gain good profit, excluding the scammers. It might be good to think that the real( not scammer) ICO's are all good and profitable. It is up to us which were going to used.
547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: October 25, 2017, 08:51:04 PM
Bitcoin is not a money it is used to buy merchandise anonymously. In addition, international payments are easy and cheap because bitcoins are not tied to any country or subject to regulation. Small businesses may like them because there are no credit card fees. Some people just buy bitcoins as an investment, hoping that they’ll go up in value😉😉😉

I'm sorry mate but I am not agree of your thoughts that bitcoin is not a money. Correct me if I'm wrong but I say bitcoin is money in such a way that people used it as payment for sold or being bought goods or products. Speaking of money, well this is of course not in fiat a form but this is just a digitized money  which being used by people specially the businessman or an investors as an exchanged for any transactions they made.
548  Economy / Speculation / Re: Looks like $6000 is just another pump and dump on: October 25, 2017, 08:26:14 PM
The top is in i guess? lower low downtrend begins!

Of course that's expected. Whatever goes up must go down eventually. The question now is what's the next floor?

It is science “the law of gravity”. And agree with what you said. The next is that after the fork it will eventually increases. This is not about pump and dump and it was not like a normal doing in bitcoin as it requires more money than altcoin pumping and dumping. It is a natural way of human expectation and perception.

These 'pump and dump" was the term being used by some industries where promoters talk up a stock to a new wave of sucker investors, then they dump it for profit. That was according from the article that I reviewed. Base of these,  let me say that this $6000 is just another "pump and dump" if we were going to base its current price. Is there anybody wants to correct me?
549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Altcoin on: October 25, 2017, 04:47:08 PM
Most altcoins are created by pump-and-dump groups. What this means is that developers create a lot of hype for their coin and promise unique and interesting features. As people find out about these promises, they are more eager to buy coins at a low price, which in turn pushes the price upward. A few altcoins that have people who are actively working hard outside of pump-and-dump groups include Litecoin, CasinoCoin, and Guldencoin.

If you want to buy bitcoins or altcoins for the current market price, open in account in one of the many online exchanges. There are a lot more options now, since the industry is booming. Bitcoin mining was also one of the early options. But the current reality is that it's way harder to get your share with all the big players around. There's also the need to invest a considerable amount of money at first. Altcoin mining is more within reach for the average person.
550  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: October 25, 2017, 03:37:22 PM
If Bitcoin can return to $ 5000 this week, this is probably your best chance and you should invest at the moment and I predict Bitcoin prices will definitely be pumped $ 8000 at the end of the year.

Of course it is not too late to buy bitcoin because it is currently in a higher price. We see the biggest risk to bitcoin being its substitution and or parallel use by other cryptocurrencies, bitcoin die hard fans claim that this is never going to be an issue since bitcoin was the pioneer and a such enjoys first mover privilege. Investing in bitcoin is no joke, and securing your investment should be your top priority.
551  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next 5 year for Bitcoin on: October 25, 2017, 02:53:07 PM
I can see that in the nest 5 years, bitcoin is already used by many countries and it will be the norm when you pay or buy something in the grocery store or restaurant. Also in 5 years from now, btc price would be $100k.
j

Five years later, I think bitcoin will survive and it will be more popular in social medias and more countries will accept it as legal because it contains many advantages to mention.Though I am not good of guessing but I that could be possibly happened. By next five years, bitcoin might have more investors whose interested to invest and its price will rise more than of its current price and maybe I have my bitcoin on that time.
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best altcoin to buy? on: October 25, 2017, 11:02:40 AM
Im thingking what is the best alcoin to buy and give good profit before the year end?

I suggest this coins.
-Golem
-NXT
-Steem

Those three have best drop in up this past months. I recommend this three coins because on the rank and for the rate of this coins there is a huge potential in this before this year end.

I am not sure about it, but according from some article, that three coins you've been suggested are some of the best coins to buy and give good profit before the year end. Altcoin new comers often have many questions regarding what is the best coin to used to have a good profit. Anyway, altcoin give cryptocurrecy users alternative options to remain active and continue innovating. The important is you are satisfied of what you are investing.
553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: October 25, 2017, 06:32:20 AM
Bitcoin right now keeps on increasing its value, and many more cryptocurrencies are occurring.
Do you think someday bitcoin will end or will be replace by other cryptocurrencies?

Is it too late to invest?
Is there a chance that bitcoin will be down?

For me, it is not too late to invest in bitcoin and other crypto currency and get paid thru your investment and hardwork.Bitcoin will be down if the Internet connection may also down.

The number of users of bitcoin has been multiplied in recent years, and the increase in its value has meant that its owners also  have significant gains only because  they have them after having purchased them at a lower price. It is still reactive to news and will give an opportunity to buy or invest at more reasonable levels. I guess bitcoin will only die if all countries unite as one to ban this kind of technology and if people are not interested to used it.
554  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which will be the real Bitcoin after november? on: October 25, 2017, 06:02:13 AM
Bitcoin will stay bitcoin. Forks may say that splitting of bitcoin to form another altcoins but it will never affect its popularity. Cryptocoins are racing for the highest place in cryptoworld. But I think there is no need to worry, another coin will eventually test another's trust to new coins.  If bitcoin gold will not gain enough investors then it will be probably dead too like the first one bitcoin cash.

I'm for original bitcoin, I don't have anything against bitcoin gold, cash, black and white bitcoin, for me this are new altcoins that offer something like many other altcoins, what is better and more useful is individual. After november we will see the same as we saw after august, bitcoin will stay first and strongest, and with bitcoin gold people will earn some money dump their bitcoin gold tokens and that is it. Only interesting thing about bitcoin gold is that can be mined with GPUs, that can make people interested in this new coin and nothing more.

No one knows what will be the real value of bitcoin and there is no obvious single explanation for the price collapse, though part of it may simply be a market correction of speculative mania that has attracted all sort of new investors to the market. As always, digital currency investing is proving not to be for the faint of heart. Although bitcoin has been in existence for five years, most countries still do not have consistent laws regulating the cryptocurrency.

I will suggest that Ethereum would be the best choice. Ethereum is the most popular cryptocurrency at present after bitcoins. Also with a market capital of 40 billion dollars it has one of the strongest development teams. Being one if the most popular cryptocoins available in the market right now, there are good chances that Ethereum will be $500 by the begining of 2018. It already has proven a track record of tested technical ability to handle programmatic crisis mid flight.
Why would it go up to $500 in 2018?That's almost doubling the current value?

Yes, but you most know that all coins are unstable. It can rise very high like bitcoin was 4900 dollars worth a month ago now it was nearly 6100 dollars. You can see the difference.

I think this is possible because of that all coins are unstable. It can rise and fall up hard. You never know when.

I'm not an expert at all. I guess the best way to make money from altcoin is to buy low and hold. There are plenty of other high potential altcoins but many of them are already valued really high. Cryptos are high risk and highly volatile.  Always invest what you can afford.Don't put your livelihood at stake as you may lose everything.
556  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Still Go Up? on: October 23, 2017, 10:49:19 AM
Bitcokn price is 6000 dollars and for sure it will continue to increase more in the future and maybe we see the price of 10k dollars next year not this year . Sometimes the transaction fee in bitcoin is small but its always high and I hope soon it will become lower because if the price increase the transaction fee will be low. More bitcoin more money to come so invest now.
Very honestly it is depending on the interest of the people, if peole are intersted in bitcoin then i think that the price will continue increasing, but i think if their interest is diverted to somewhere else then i do not think that its price willl continue increasing. Luckly the intereste of the people is still toward bitcoin and even their interst is incrasing from time to time, they are not even ready to sill their bitcoin but cotniuously holding it, because they are sure that after few years bitcoin will be more worth than its present value and they will even get more profit from bitcoin investment.

In the past few years, more and more companies have started accepting bitcoin. But then, the unregulated nature of this currency make people hard to predict when its price continue to  rise or when the bubble will burst. Some analysts believe its price will continue to rise over the next few years following its recent split into two different cryptocurrencies in an event known as "hard fork". I think this bitcoin could only goes up when people never tired of using it.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can i trust EtherDelta with my Private Keys ? on: October 23, 2017, 08:59:39 AM
I use it as well but I have to admit that I don't like the fact that they know your private keys

We know sometime that the era of centralized exchanged is fading away. There are simply just too much hackers and too much counterpart to risk with traditional exchanges. I had read some articles that contains about the uses of this EtherDelta for it said that it could be a trustworthy so we can trade here token's safely. But it actually doesn't matter if we trust it or not.The choice is up to us.

I see a lot of optimism about bitcoin, which is understandable seeing the price recently.
Oh come on we've always been optimistic. I've been around since 2015 when the price went totally down and everyone started losing hope in btc.
Guess how much was one bitcoin for at that time ?
It was for $270 !
I guess that's enough optimism for me really  Wink

-Block size. Which makes the delay and fees of transaction rise very fast. Smaller transactions are more and more difficult to make.
This should be solved with time.

Quote
-The centralization of the market. China got low cost electricity, which make them by far the most bitcoin mining capable.
What ? There's difference between the bitcoin "market" which is exchanges, trades etc. And mining power.
The "market" isn't centralized in China at all. For example, poloniex is US-based. Bitfinex is in Honk Kong and others.

Regarding the mining power, it's debatable. But I can for sure say that this is not nice as it's supposed to be not centralized. But guess what , the whole world lives off China. All of our food, clothes etc are made there. It's just because of their low price electricity that mining farms are setup there.

Quote
Another thing: The Hard forks that are oddly getting much more frequent than before. (BCH, BTG, Segwitx2 etc...) It almost looks like "attacks" in order to divide us. Now called "airdrops" by the community. Even though they're supposed to solve some of the problems.
You were there when BCH split happened and you saw what happened after it to the price. You decide if these hard forks are actually of any danger or are worth getting called "attacks"

All in all, this makes me really worried about btc future. I've been a strong holder since 2014, and I made quite a lot of money with bitcoins, but I begin to doubt now, even though the price is crushing ATM. Please help me keeping faith. Or should I switch to another currency ? Really thinking about ETH recently.

You've been holding since 2014  Shocked Mate you totally aren't the one who should ask or make such threads as you made quite a lot out of it.
Switching to ETH ? No thank you. There's no much action over there. It's kinda constant.

Plus even if btc price goes down (which in my own opinion will happen after the BTG fork) what did you lose ? Nothing really nothing.
You've been through times when the price was much worse and you know what happens later, it skyrockets.

Later can range from days to months. It doesn't matter.

I see nothing to worry about the future of BTC because it unstoppable due to it's very useful and profitable uses. It is very popular today since many people interested to join and more investors trusted it for they believe that bitcoin is a good future investment. Even though it encountered hard fork but people not afraid to used it. Importantly, bitcoin does not need to win every battle to justify a sky high price. It still depend on the number of users of bitcoin.
559  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price 2018 on: October 23, 2017, 04:10:40 AM
Is so difficult to guess what would be the price of bitcoin the next year, if this pump will continue till the end of the month hopefully bitcoin will double its value vy next year.  Just only my predictions.

Yes, it is quite hard to tell what the price will be by next year since we will be experiencing some forks before the end of the year. A few months ago, I did not expect the price to be as high as it is right now. So it is possible to be even higher by next year; some say it may reach $10000 already. The popularity of bitcoin has drastically increased. Just by December, I expect there to be a price increase for about to $7000 I guess. We can only speculate, and this is just my prediction as well.

In my opinion, in the long run, the price of BTC on 2018 will rise twice from it current value. Most experts agree that ingenious technology behind virtual may have broad applications for cybersecurity, currently posses one of the biggest challenges to the stability of he global financial system. Perhaps bitcoin speculators are betting that there were always be a consortium of rogue states allowing anonymous bitcoin usage to exploit it.
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All coins are now dying, what do you think? on: October 23, 2017, 03:39:26 AM
The entire market is in the red. Everyone has lost money. What do you think?
This is due to FORK and announcement of allotment of free bitcoingold allotment to the holders of bitcoin. every one is selling his altcoins and buying BTC so all coins are red and BTC is green. After fork the scenario will change and all altcoin will green and BTC in red.

It's certainly the reason for the sales of alts on bittrex - they've promised to give bitcoingold to bitcoin holders, triggering sales of the alts.

I don't think that all coins are now dying. In fact it is growing. Many people are much more interested in coins and hopefully this means that coin will continue to expand and there will be more and more innovation. i if coins are dying, I believe that this could only be not permanently happened. Correct me if I am wrong but I really expect that coins will last long as long as people continuously  used it.
