Hey guys!
Is there a possible way of buying bitcoins directly from the seller (in India) instead of buying from an online exchange service?

Go over to the market place section and place a  requirement for your purchase, how much BTC you want what rate you are  willing to pay.

Thanks for tweet Benson. I'm Marco, CEO of MatrixVision.
We are a Bitcoin-side compliance service.  What that means is that for companies that need compliance (eg exchanges, investment funds, payment processors, bitcoin ATMs etc) - a) they already have services to monitor FIAT-side transactions, often indirectly via their bank or PSP and b) we perform an analagous service for Bitcoin-side transactions.

We're not payment processors nor investigators. We monitor transaction behaviour, flag potentially susupicious transactions, and the exchange, ATM etc takes investigations from there. 'potentially suspicious' means preventing the proceeds of crime from flowing back into the banking system. That is, preventing money-laundering - it's not about detecting crime itself but having controls for AML (anti-money laundering) so that the exchange/ATM/bitcoin business etc is allowed to operate.  I wrote a post about this on reddit.
http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1qw0so/matrixvision_v_coinvalidation_why_we_have_to/

Yes to suitability for India - we're worldwide with the service tailored to the regulatory requirements of each jurisdiction.

Hope that helps

I bet you  guys are  using  some  real killer  algo, to shift through all the  transaction. Love to know how you  do that. or better yet how  can i get involved doing this.  Wink

I have another account with about 10 miners in the shopping cart, so no delivery address put in yet. I did that incase someone wanted them later. But the problem with that account is that it is my primary e-mail. Shucks

I  have an  idea .. lets talk  more  if you have the  time .  can you hop into the IRC much  better to chat  there.
548  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Has the KnC Miner Neptune Pre-Order Opened to public yet on: November 28, 2013, 07:03:17 PM

cheers mate, once everything has been locked to your. make the payment, as you get in the queue based on the payment date and not order date. I ordered these yesterday.

cheers

ok all set  made the changes. but  dam, the  order address looks like it is  locked.  need to  change that, may be i  will  email  KnC and  ask them  to  change the  address on the  orders. the  address onthe  profile  is  changed now.

Once the  changes on the order  is  made will make the payment to them . hopefully  this  works :-)

Hi,

What are you doing about the KnC Miner? Is there a way for us to get our hands one of those too?

Thanks.

I am sure there are people who wanna pick em up. I have placed pre-orders for about 28 KnC Neptune Miners.

I made a bank transfer for one today. If people are interested in purchasing more, I have accounts made with pre-orders in them. You can take the accounts from me make them your accounts, change password, make payment and they are your accounts**.

***They are registered to my e-mail accounts, so I shall give you the e-mail accounts also. You would also need to change the secondary e-mail associated to the e-mail accounts so that you can be 100% safe, so I cannot steal it back from you.

Safest way is to make payment only after you have secured the account completely under your control. You can change all details except the registered e-mail I think.

Account 1
1 unit pre-order, payment sent

Account 2
2+ units pre-ordered payment to be completed

Account 3
10+ units pre-ordered payment to be completed

------the above not for sale

Account 4
1 units pre-ordered payment to be completed

Account 5
1 units pre-ordered payment to be completed

Account 6
1 unit pre-ordered payment to be completed

Account 7
1 unit pre-ordered payment to be completed

Please note these are for the KnC Neptune 3000 Gh/s Miner.

would  like  one of these  accounts  but i dont  think  KnC has an option to  change the  email  address.

ya subvolatil, you cannot change the registered e-mail id.

There is a solution, you can actually take the account, Will give you the e-mail ID account also. Just for your comfort, make sure you change the secondary e-mail ID, secure it to your needs before you make payment for it. You should be good to go.

Just confirm here, Will send account details via PM.

Thanks you. if  i  do get one of the miners i  will dedicate  a  week of  mining  to your address.

555  Local / Buyer/ Seller Reputations (India) / Re: [scam] rbitco.in Nilam Doctor on: November 28, 2013, 03:30:26 PM
I have posted topics in other boards, but I wanted to make sure everyone knows that rbitco.in website took 3.01 bitcoins from me and the owner of the site (Nilam Doctor) is nowhere to be found. I have tried to contact via email (2 of his emails), facebook (which he friended me), and skype (which he added me).

Here are the transactions:

https://blockchain.info/tx/218c22abf93bc09f79a2f05e68070eaffc1a7387590d51317a2d0e99cd46656c

Here's a screenshot as well:

Well hopefully  Nilam Doctor is  just  too bussy  to  care  for his  customers that  he  forgot  about  this, and  will  get back to you  and  refund  you,  your  money. i hope  he  will contact you  soon and  get this  resolved.

Guys  please tell Nilam Doctor  to  take  his  site  down and  fix  the  bugs. if  it is not a  bug then he is deceiving  his  customers.

Can someone explain us what kind of services Matrix Vision provides?

They look good. Nice Team as well, but not sure if their services can be used in India.

But what kind of services? Moderator sir, can you explain in detail to this layman in simple terms?

They seem to be blockchain investigators who help banks identify where funds are coming from.
Still not very clear about it, but reading through their terms, etc shows that.

They are  investigators, they  use various  analysis techniques to provide analysis of  bitcoin transaction. and  from the looks of it  also  use OSINT to  track down  transaction owners. looks  good if you are a government  agency  or  a  person  who's bitcoin got  robbed.
558  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: 110 ghs setup for sale in Delhi/NCR on: November 28, 2013, 03:09:14 PM
Which  blade  version are  these.  and  if  you  dont  mind  me  asking  why are  you  selling  it if you only  used it  for  3 months.  makes  more  sense   to  use  it  for   6-9 months and  then  sell.

So you have been using this  for  3 months and before that pinwheel  had it. right.

So what are  you  willing to offer?

It's not from pinwheel and it's not mine a friend is selling because he needs money, he already have other miner setup and done preorder of some miners.

I can provide you sellers contact no. for more info if you are interested, there will be discount if you will pay via btc otherwise face 2 face cash deal in delhi is better.

Let me know.

Your  friend  was a  no  show .  dd not pick up my calls. .
any ways . do  inform  him  that i am  willing to  pay  40k just for the  blades, and  if  he wants to  sell the  rig  i  will add another 5k on top. as per the  hardware  Hashrate on  most  devices  being  sold.  and also it  is used.  i will pm you  my number .

Oh... c'mon there  have  been only  6 people  who  ever  logged into this   room.

Starting to  think  its going  to  be a  waste   keeping  an  IRC  up and  running.

Dude in the era of whatsapp, BBM and viber (including free text) i doubt if people will be interested in IRC.
Kepp it open if it is not costing you anything.

If it is, then rethink on it.

Whatsapp and bbm what a  waste.

will  let  the  room  stay open.
I  will  remove my  bot out  of it, can  use  my  shell  some place  else.

Can try a timed event on IRC see how that works out.

Ex: 2 - 3 PM on a weekend afternoon. I can help by tweeting it, etc and we can get a small crowd for sure.

Please organize so it does not clash dates with the Bangy meetups.

Sounds great.  how about this  weekend. Sunday 2-3 pm.

What say you?

We have a Bitcoin meetup this Sunday. We can do 7th or 8th.

8th would be better.
